such a sweet film about a person. i wish everyone could have something like this made for them by the people who love them
Bro that’s exactly what I thought
Amen to that
Man, I have zero friends...
@@stefankaiser3354 You will made some at some point just do what you love mate
so true
Obrigado
Greg Hunt's magical touch, giving skatebaording an emotional experience for us. That was great. Cinematography and pace was super pleasing as always.
She seems like a beautiful soul tuned into nature which says a lot. Love that you showcased her spirit more than her skateboarding. 🙏🏾
That was a very nice little piece on Lizzie. She sounds like a wonderful person and the type that anyone would be blessed to know and have as a friend. Well done, Vans.
this was literally so beautiful, i love cinematography and skating, seeing the two mixed perfectly into one just itches a part of my brain so good.
"Tony Hawk - Friend and Mentor"
Man... that is legendary. Mad props to Lizzie, her friends and fam, the birdhouse team and vans.
I had no idea that she got married! I always thought they were the perfect couple. Both of them seem so sweet. I'm glad she is getting a lot of recognition. She is awesome.
If Tony is saying she’s the most determined person out there, than she’s doing a LOT right. That man came up through the ranks the hard way. Keep it up young lady. don’t forget why you started skateboarding and it will never get old
U are so right such truth! And Tony Hawk what an honor he is unreal AWESOME! 👉🏻💜💜💜💜💜💜
I absolutely love everything about her. One of my favorite skaters ever. Style attitude everything, the world needs more people like her, it would be a much better place.
From the standpoint of a male skater who came up in 1985-92 and tried to keep skating but life had other ideas -- it is simply nice to see someone in it and probably going to take it to the end. It gives me hope and I just turned 47.
This was so perfectly put together. Lizzy inspires me a lot. Seems like such a humble and grounded spirit.
I love you lizzie!! you're my favorite woman skater and I loved your medusa birdhouse skate deck. can't wait to get your news shoes.
Thank you, Lizzie for all that you have inspired us to be & become ❤️
I love her silhouette with vans. The all black signature hugs your foot in the best way possible.
That's my girl! I'm so very proud of you lizzie ❤️ I've known you since you were a teen. I feel so blessed to know you personally.
this video made my day. Really happy so many young girls have someone awesome to look up to with this whole generation of female skaters. Go Lizzie!
Neat words!!!!! ❤️❤️
So Amazing! The video is "Unlisted" by the way
Never thought a VANS video would make my eyes water
Omg such a beautiful video! What an honor to watch! I wish I could know Lizzie! Great great sk8er woah!!!!!! 👉🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Keep being you, Liz. You’ll always be an influence in my book !
This is beautiful. Lizzie got me back into skating at 25 when I saw her Fire part. I've never been great in bowls or at transition at all, but that got me so amped. Now at 30, I can't go as hard as I did as a kid, but I've also never been better at the fundamentals and balance. It's so refreshing to just go with my kids and pump around and go real fast. 😂
Thanks, Lizzie.
Glad to see ya still rippin Lizzie! 🤙
Thank you for amazing beautiful short film. It makes me believe in the little things, thank you so much❤️🙏
“She’s lizzie. And I love that about her” this is so beautiful 🥺
All time favourite!! I love this!
Grosso loved you, so it's a given. Much love .
Skateboarding loves you 💚
Beautiful filming and editing! That last shot where the light is washed out and then disappears right at the end, so good.
thank you Vans, thank you skateboarding
Awesome film!
It's cool that I got a good feel of who Lizzie is, without her saying a word! Beautiful storyline!
Greg Hunt did an amazing job here. Very well done!
lizzie is amazing. great short film
I feel the need to try and do this for my mate known him since he was proper young the only person thats carried on riding scooters other than me when we got our local park destroyed by council over ten years ago. now hes stupidly good and its honor to have him as a riding buddy as i don't ride with any one else nowadays being that 25 and still riding a scooter in my local area is fairly unheard of in my age group just blessed to have him to see him progress in the brilliant human and rider he is. I guess its time to get workin with film again might film it all on ektar film i love that stuff
The cinematography of this is on the next level, great job!
Impressive ... with Humans like Lizzie the World can become a better place. ✨️
Wow, what a beautiful human!! Amazing tribute! And I can't be the only one that thinks her and Axel are such a cute couple!! Skate royalty!!
We love you Lizzie! Youre a beautiful soul. Dont ever stop.
She is so sweet and rips , hands down one on my fav skaters 🤙🛹
This is real nice.
She seems like she's cool but also nice, always good to know that combo can exist.
As a guy I can also be super shy
Lizzie seems so rad and obviously rips and has the looks to represent the womans movement in sk8ing. Axel is cool and I trust his opinions on other humans. Lol. Hope she stays in skateboarding for as long as she want too. The future of skateboarding looks very bright these days with people like Lizzie and her passion for whatever she’s in to.
Lizzie is inspirational proof the best influence is just being yourself
Thanks for the board and love and everything
Nice little video. Im sure you will take care of such and important person. Hope to see more clips of her skating.
Get it girl ❤️❤️
Amazing....She didn't need to say a word...❤
It’s so wonderfully refreshing that skateboarding now has women like Lizzie who can contribute such a unique perspective and vibe to an activity long dominated by rebellious and aggressive young men. Of which I was once 😁🙏❤️
Agressive? Not in my experience
@@jamesnativeenglish7581 I'm guessing you weren't skating back in the 70s and 80s.
Also, aggressive doesn't necessary mean violent.
@@rzadigi aggressive young men got me, fair enough I wasn`t skating back then, no
Nah this shit is wack, but there are some pretty good female skaters out there
I’ve been skating for over 20 years …. What I’ve seen over those years, the prodigies, the people who pick up skateboarding really quickly, where skating comes to them so naturally and effortlessly Are usually always intelligent compassionate driven determined humble people, Yet can be reserved and intellectually introverted maybe 🤔 come off mysteries, watching them skate, is there best element, there state of mind when they skate, comes naturally its determined calculated has a completely different unique style of skating of there own that makes them stand out! It’s mesmerizing how naturally skating comes to to these people!
I agree with a lot of what you're saying but Lizzie practically lived at the skatepark. She essentially out-skated everyone in long sessions day after day, so from what i saw i wouldn't say she picked it up 'really quickly' but rather improved slowly but surely over many years. It was a deep love for skating, years of practice, good park, good people around her, lessons, learning, listening, watching, eating/sleeping/breathing skating.
Oh BTW i've been skating 35 years so get excited, the next 15 are awesome! 😜
What a beautiful portrait
Cheers to you Lizzie, you rule and skateboarding is richer because of you
v cool short
So true about her influence, I see more women skaters now then when I was a kid skating. Cool to see girls and women follow in her footsteps.
Vans has been knocking it outta the park lately with these videos. Keep it up!
Such a rad person 🤙
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!
Wow! That was so sweet and beautiful.
Beautiful!
getting choked up just watching
Well Mr. Hawk, I'll tell you this: I've skated for 24 years and loved Birdhouse since I was a kid, but it took until this young lady got a board with your company for me to actually ride one. Sometimes it's funny how boards become sentimental considering how impermanent and disposable they are, but that 8.0 inch Lizzie Armanto "Nails" pro model was my favourite pandemic board. Considering that I've probably skated and destroyed about 20 boards since the beginning of 2020, I'd say that's pretty slick.
The best you can be is yourself. I like to know that there are people like that. Stay true and party on Garth.
very cool!!!! Thanks Lizzie!! You rock!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear Lizzie,you are amazing
I really love the BGM
Nice to see the Lizzie and Alva moment.
Loved this 💛
I'm so glad that Lizzie bounced back from that horrific slam...not that I'd expect anything else.
beautiful film
That's cool her and axle crusher are together, they seem good for each other.
She's a sick skater but she's also a great role model for people, especially younger girl skaters. Skateboarding does that though, makes people see life for what it is and will humble anyone who steps onto the stuntwood .❤️🤘
This is so beautiful
Beautiful video
truly beautiful!
