That was a really good how to video. I had a 1996 popup Jayco I used for 7 years and loved it. My wife is disabled and wanted to go camping with me. We tried tent camping twice and it didn't work out very well for her. I came across the Jayco for $2000 and it was like new, so I bought it for her. It even had the air conditioning/furnace combo in the roof. Both worked great. I took it to her mom and dads, set it up and surprised her with it. After that, every chance I could get off work, she wants to go camping. At the beginning of the year, she gives me a calendar that shows the days she wants to go camping and where she wants to go. After 7 years, she wanted some.hing bigger and to go farther from home. So I bought her a new travel trailer. I have to say, as much as we really enjoy the new camper, we miss the popup in a lot of was as well.
I like my pop-up trailer cuz it's small and easy to tow but big enough to fit my family. I too wanted to buy something bigger but some guy at Arrowhead Provincial Park told me hold on to your pop up if it's still in good condition you might regret it. Bigger trailers are harder to tow and suck back more fuel and harder to park in a camping spot. I'll keep mine for as long as I can. Thanks for sharing your story.
@@MuskokaAdventures I do wish I still had mine. But it's like going from an old loved white gas Coleman stove to a new fancy JetBoil. It's nice and all, but it's not the same as that Coleman.
