They said we would be OP and be able to solo dungeons and raids, When someone found it a blast and was having fun they sensed it... like a disturbance in the force they could not resist the desire to nerf fun.
The event is 3 months long. People were getting enough stats and bronze to solo heroic after a day or so of low effort farming. Yes it made sense to nerf it.
Didnt nerfed it. They removed it. Give me a good farm in the open world I'm so bored and I dont feel OP AT ALL.
@KAZPERFOX troll docks on isle of thunder. But you can just relax and play an hour or so per day and it takes a week to hit gear cap and high cloak stats just from daily quests and a heroic raid tour.
I get it's 3 months long, but you cannot say it's gonna be unbalanced and op on purpose then try to endlessly balance it to slow people down. It's like an all you can eat buffet putting a plate limit in, god damnit is it all you can eat or not?!?!?!?

the issue is noone wants to take 40-60 days to get OP just to have it taken from them 20 days later. everyone wants to be OP now so they can get all the gear and mounts without having to worry about the time limit.

Wait so the unbalanced and fun mode that the remix was supposed to be is getting nerfed and balanced ? This can only be done by blizzard, they simply cannot let people have fun at all 😂
This fun suppose to be 80 days long. This is what people are forgetting about. A lot of people complains, but we are barely 10% time in the event, and people already can do solo dungeons. And no, no froggers. People forgets that they still keep on scaling, becouse of the cloak, even if you do not upgrade your items with the bronze. At the end of the event, those people that max geared, will be runnning with billions of HP capable to solo heroic / mythic raids. We are 10% into event now, whitch means, that the cloaks at the end of the event will be at least 10 times more powerfull than now. (for those people that sticked to 1 character. And gearnig to max iLVL takes like 10 days max.
It is very unbalanced, you need to be level 12 to carry a group, if you're a level 70 you're garbage. Very unbalanced. They delivered on that promise. It's just the fun that's missing.
@@mothman84 When you reach lvl 70, you are garbage... for max 2 days. Later Cloack starts to be totaly op. If you farm it of course. And add to this some investition to item levels... and from garbage you quicly becoming god like. It took me literary 30 hours of play to first solo dangeon. Now i'm speed running it below 5 minutes SOLO. Soon i willl be able to do heroic dung solo. I do not need nobody, I'm unkillable. If only i had more demage, i could run raid solos lol.I already would not die, it would just took forever to kill bosses. But cloack keeps on scalling... just need some time.
Normal people that farmed the fun content are already outperforming "froggers", so stop crying, it's pathetic.

I've done all I could the first few days and I've been doing my dailies on 4 characters every day since it became clear that that's the only way the devs want us to play this crap. My cloak on my first timerunner, who did most of the quests and achievements, and was also "deemed a frog farmer," still isn't in the 2500 range today. Ok? So NO, non-froggers are definitely not outperforming froggers, it isn't happening, and it's arithmetically impossible. Ok? Go back to enjoying your game, but stop attacking random strangers on the internet and lying to defend the things close to your heart.
I think Blizzard will see that spending bronze on gear slows down the next weeks. The majority of players will have to prioritize permanent rewards and can't spend bronze on gear. They will be stuck on 346. I also expect raids, even LFR, to become harder as the no-lifers finish their grind and there are no more free carries.
So Blizz is ignoring what players have been telling them about how absurd the cost of gear upgrades is. No surprises there. Players aren't supposed to have a life outside of WoW after all.

I love the circular thinking that people dont do a thing because they dont want to instead of they dont do a thing because its ultimately too expensive so they simply opt out. if they made the upgrades cheaper, the people opting out would definitely opt in.
The people that opt out are those, that do not understand the game mode. It takes 50-70 hours to max out ilvls. You have 80 days. Stop being ridicoulous. The most important thing is that as event progresses people will keep on scaling becouse of the cloack. And becouse of that it will become much easier to get bronze later. Man in 80 days everybody around will be capable to speedrun mythic raids.

@@kkmiroslawsome people (me included) are just bored into depression playing remix. i just bought the cosmetics and im happily done with it. but i also dont complain something takes too long or so, i just cant play and enjoy grindfests like that
@@pet4pr4nk I do understand it. But game still should be at least a bit challenging. If 100% people can buy out all vendors, and later show up with everything in the main game, than that would be way too easy. Don't forget that characters that you are leveling will later be on your normal server. So in my opinion they should aim for 10% of people to make full completion of the event, so when you done it, someone seeing your character on main server, will say, man, this guy really made the hard work. He deserve it. If everybody can get everything... in my opinion that's bad. Plus, even if someone don't want to grind their ass for the gear, you may at least produce army of alts, getting every single class. That willl save you tons of time later.

50-70 hours to get max gear? Yea no thanks. Game was advertised as a for fun crazy op fest, even being able to solo raids/dungeons.
Progressing and putting in effort is fun to an extent, but mop is old man. It’s been around forever. So it’s literally farming old content for 50 hours to get top of the line gear. (Tmog is old and looks terrible compared to current mogs, and so are the mounts, so why waste money on those?)
I think they missed the mark big time with this. Don’t say you can solo raids and dungeons if you can’t do it day one. I don’t want to spend 2 and half months playing every other day to be able to solo raids for just a week. At that point you might as well call it Diablo: MOP Remix
Exploit early and often. Can't even get to the demanded ilvl for heroic raids without grinding bronze daily for hours and hours. So you get to max ilvl a week before the event goes into hibernation. Big L
Man. It takes around 50-70 hours of gameplay to max out items once you are on full lvl. Leveling from 10 to 70, 10-20h, if this is first character, much faster with alts. we are 10% done with the event. You have 80 days left. So what are you talking about.??? You ALREADY should be running with maxed items and have tons of time to buy out all the vendors and repeat the story with maxing ilvl for at least 5 more alts. Plus you are forgetting, that people still are scaling, even without upgrading items, becouse of the cloack. So as event progresses, it will become easier and easier for the bronze. People are already speedruning some raids, making them done within 3-5 minutes... at the end of the event, the same will happen with heroic raids, and mythic will be super easy, becouse every single guy will be running with max ilvl, and 10 times more powerfull clocks than now.
So... basically the fun police strike again? I mean I can understand things being adjusted because it's in retail and they are constantly balancing that but let's be honest here, this is just another time sink event that's supposed to be fun and for shits and giggles. I don't understand why they need to make these changes. Even the bronze farm. They could have just made a soft cap on the cape instead.
You need 577,950 bronze to upgrade your gear assuming you start at 346 to 556. So it's not a 500k deficit. It's nearly 600k for starters. For two, many of us have lives outside of WoW. If you started on day 1 and wanted to upgrade your gear and buy every item, you'd need 22,732 bronze every day for 95 days. If you start today, you need 26,661 bronze every day for the remainder of the event.
The bronze requirement is ludicrous. Blizzard said they respected our time and clearly they do not. Bronze upgrades should at least have an account wide discount like flightstones do. Ironically, apparently if you level up gear with bronze, you do get the flightstone discount on retail although I can see that being fixed. I would like to actually do things on retail servers. I have yet to even do any of the awakened raids, and I still have other things like the Shadowlands and Dragonflight metas I was working on. Yet I'm in Remix for most of my day. By the time I get to a stopping point there for the day, I have no interest logging into retail.
Remix serves only to burn players out and then to disappoint later. Here's the kicker with gear. You may spend all of this bronze and time upgrading gear to max, but you aren't keeping it in TWW. Gear will be sharply downgraded to default leveling gear (I saw iLvL 424 thrown around) when TWW hits. Upgrading gear is a waste of bronze when you look at it that way. Spending it on the cosmetics in that case makes more sense because that you can actually keep going forward. Remix just serves as a way to get a boosted toon without paying $60 for it. I'm aiming for iLvL 400 with my shaman before focusing on cosmetics. I have no interest in going higher than that. It's a waste of bronze. Other toons past my shaman will be sacrifices to get cosmetics, but at this point, not sure how many alts I'll be leveling. I was going to do 8 but now I'm thinking I may barely do 2.
For your first paragraph, do your math again.
For your second paragraph, your power of upgrading each tier of gear is exponential. You will end up doing double or even triple the damage compared to the previous tier, depending on your class. I haven't seen such an effort-reward ratio for a long, long time. You can earn about 30k-40k bronze for completing every Normal raid and some world bosses, which is sufficient for you to bump to the next tier. If you are willing to put in the effort, you will double your damage almost every day, at worst every other day.
For your third paragraph, you live today, not tomorrow; you will never chase tomorrow. If you keep looking at things that way, then why do you eat, why do you breathe, why do you drink? You are going to die anyway. You play the game to enjoy the moment. The moment you are not enjoying the game, it's an indicator that you should step out of the game, go outside, and do something else that you enjoy. No one is forcing you to play WoW 24/7. You get what you are willing to give up.
I don't see bronze as a problem at all. The problem is the frog farmers are making the game segregated. No one, including Blizzard, expects people to get max gear and conquer the highest-level content the game has to offer within two weeks into an expansion. It is the frog farmers who created this imbalanced, toxic playing pace that makes people like you jealous. WoW Remix is open for 90 days; we have more than 80 days left to play this game. You will see at the end of the first month, even the most casual player will be able to farm Heroic raids without issue, guaranteed. Even now, I see the same people with crappy gear from two days ago ,and two days after they are wearing 458+ gear. That's the play style they want; they are willing to farm every single raid possible and waste their time doing trolls and such. As long as they enjoy doing that, it's fine, and they deserve to get better gear than people who don't care to do any of the content. So keep your head down and find something you enjoy doing.
There hasn't been any statement on this because the event is still so new, but I'm hoping that the "gear downgrading" with the MoP remix end won't happen to those that make it past the ilvl 425 mark. And even if it does, the MoP remix will end with the TWW pre-patch, which will allow us to get 493 gear and start upgrading those pieces to the 520+ mark. The intended function of the MoP remix has always been just to get alts leveled quickly, and earn a few cosmetics on the side. There isn't a need to push crazy ilvl unless you just want to break the event.
Scaling is truly exponential. Fresh 346 will pull 100-150k, 476 (full upgrades) are already pulling 7+ mil without ward cheese.
@@aigwyn Exactly, though fresh 346 is more likely pulling less than 100k ,60-90k more like it. But as soon as they upgrade to lets say 402 tier (since 476 is a little out of reach for most atm), they might pull like 300k-700k damage, again depending on their class. So in this case, its even more Exponential! This is outrageously rewarding in terms of gear upgrades. I think Blizzard got this one right.
Simple math, i work 8-5 everyday and get 2 hours to play if im lucky. I get around 5,000 bronze a day from dailies, that will take me 100 days to max my gear???? Blizzard wtf
You keep on scaling, becouse of the cloack. The longer you play, the easier is to get bronze. once you hit max lvl, you need around 50-70h of game play to max out iLVL. Every 10h of game play you can double your demage output. Don't focus so much on daylies. They are good but while you are waiting in queque, always farm threats and bronze. And don't listen to people complaining about the cost - just invest into iLVLs. You will quicly become god in heroic dangeons, that can speed run them solo within 5 minutes. With some friends the same may be done with heroic raids.

@@kkmiroslawthat’s saying for him it will take (Assuming 10 hrs of game play to get first toon to 70) 60-80 hrs for max ilvl on his main. So split the difference 70hrs /2hrs per day = 35 days. If he plays 5/7 days per week that’s 7 weeks (49 days) into the “For Fun” event. Then that leaves a total of like 38 days to grind out the remaining 1.6 Million Bronze. Again assuming he is playing 5/7 days, that’s about 26 days left he will be able to play and at 2hrs/day that’s 52 hrs left for 1.6 mil bronze roughly.
They need to nerf the bronze upgrade cost or double the acquisition rate. Something to that effect.
I’m not trying to complain about it, but I am looking at it from a realistic standpoint on what was supposed to be in their own words a “For fun” event. 10hrs/week is a fair bit of game play for a large chunk of their audience. They need to further adjust the bronze gain rate.
@@trevorfloyd7313 some type of rested xp but for bronze might be a good fix. People who aren't logged in build up rested bronze so they gain more in a shorter amount of time when they don't play as much
@@trevorfloyd7313 Again. The same mistake. You are people assuming, that your speed of gaining bronze will be the same all the time, and thats horrible misscalculation. As time progreses and you're putting more and more ilvls into your character and get your cloack stronger, the speed of gaining bronze grows up a lot. Plus as time progresses more and more people will be totaly op, making heroic and mythic raids extremaly easy. Why do you think they keep on nerfing everything to the ground??? Becouse people are way ahead of expected curve of their power. There was exploit with frogs at beggining of event, and this now have avalanche of effects. Becouse those people get super strong ridicoulosly quicly, they are now speedruning every heroic dungeon/normal raid, some already even heroic. AND THAT DO BENEFIT'S EVERYBODY AROUND IN TERMS OF SPEED OF GETTING BRONZE. Yeah, thats annoying that they get their items super easy, and you have to grind your ass for it, but still, they speed up the bronze getting for everybody around by a lot. They totaly misscalculated how fast first people will get to max iLVLs and that what is happening now, should be half way in the event, not after 10% of it. Your speed of gaining bronze at last 30 days of the event will be way way bigger than now. You will see - it is not even nerfed enough by now.
Plus i don't think so that 100% people should be getting 100% of rewards. It should be that your character after getting to normal server, should have unique things - not like: you completed the event fully??? Who cares??? 100 percent of people did this and everybody have what you have... I think that it should be challenging enough, so only 10% of people will get everything done - so that your effort in the event DO matter.
I just dont get why they cap the random loot at 346, why not just keep letting the gear be upgraded by the loot boxes? Either spend the bronze for a quick upgrade or let us loot boxes for slower upgrades that will ultimately lead to a character that is TWW ready.
I like that idea, kinda like destiny 2 if I’m not mistaken.

It takes like 10 days to get from fresh 70 to ilvl 554.... compared to retail which takes weeks. by just doing the daily raids / quests /wb which is about 2-4 hours

One of the issues with this is you have to earn that 500k-600k to upgrade your gear in the first place.
off topic but I really wish they would've brought back Challenge Mode cosmetics... I have 4 in MoP but couldn't get the rest and I'm sad they didnt bring that back

Finished buying every mount a couple days ago. Now I'm slowly raising my ilvl of my gear and it's just not worth it. I absolutely DO NOT FEEL STRONGER. "Exponential" power per ilvl granted through upgrades is such a farce. I would need to be quite a ways into the upgrade process to notice any genuine change.
Key word: Exponential, the power creep starts off pretty slow, and as you get to high 400s and get into the 500s the power per ilvl is insane amounts, like even the difference between someone in full 500 gear and someone who is full 556 gear is at least double the damage

I did not do frogs and i got nerfed (that was totally unfair) my cap was reduce from 80k stamina to 2.5k but i just keep focus on farming threds and now my cap is on 100k stamina, there are plenty ways to get tons of bronze and threds but people like you just focus on complaining.

the "slay" gem nerf really had no effect, was still hitting targets with it for 5-6mil hp when I had 1mil hp, post nerf.

Im powering up my blood dk because i want to try mythic siege. Im leveling alts to get the mop remix specific items, i got 90k bronze leveling an alt in a little over 6 hours and bought all but 2 mop remix exclusive mounts. Not terrible to just get the cosmetics with alts now and im sure it will get even easier, however if the gear upgrade i bought on my main discounted them for alts i would much prefer that to the current system because having to spend close to 600k bronze per charicter is just dumb in a limited game mode
Do you spam heroic dungeons to power level?
The question, can you recoup the losses you incur by becoming a Super Saiyan God, with the time remaining. Yes? Then do it. No? You are better off just staying 346 and just doing dailies quests and queues.
The question is ultimately what are your goals. Do you want to experience heroic and mythic raiding because it seems fun or you just want to see the content? Then upgrade gear. That is literally the only reason to upgrade gear, it is not the fastest way to grind bronze due to the initial sink. Can you recoup your losses and still get all of the cosmetics? Sure. But if you just care ONLY about cosmetics and collectibles? Absolutely do not upgrade gear, spend it on the cosmetics and then either do dailies or better yet spam alts and dailies to get all of the collectibles.
I plan on doing both. One character will use bronze for ilvl upgrades, while my alt army will get the 40k from dinging 70 and just do the 3 easy dailies every day.
I wonder how much of an impact Remix had on the number of M+ runs being done 🤔
There are only 2 options. Give the 95% reduction for upgrading alts or make the upgrade scale from low to high (250, 500, 750, 1000..). Fresh 70 alts feel like wet wipes and i don't feel like upgrading my gear again while my main can easily carry things..
Your alts are not entitled to max gear.

By stupid dragon flying around the map you can get 5k per hour and that is far from the best method of obtaining bronze. And once you invested your bronze into iLVLs, you become so strong, that getting bronze much much quicker is very easy.

This is a low chance, but in my head Blizzard has been “nerfing” ward and players have been finding work around. It’s kind of a fun game we are playing here lol
I didnt do frogs, but i have found a way to have fun and feel OP. Make a trial accound, hit lvl 20, grind the f out of it. Use that character to do dungeons and scenarios with your main account charactera. Lvl them to 70 if you want, enjoy. Dont waste bronze upgrading gear that will be useless, get mount and xmogs. Ggs

You earn more bronze doing harder content which you require lots of bronze to upgrade gear to get into. Why do i farm to upgrade than buy rewards again?

Spend 500k bronze, stay as powerful as you were 500k bronze ago because raids scale to ilvl.

Ok i'd be 1000% ok with the bronze cost if the cost reduction was account wide. I mean what would be the harm of treating bronze like Flightstones? Yes people would abuse the alt leveling to max out characters, upgrade their gear to their current ilvl on their main/previous alts, then roll another, and keep doing so until their gear was 556....but...it would encourage alts and make this LIMITED TIME EVENT where the STATED GOAL IS TO BE OP AS FUCK ....fun and less grindy? Stop treating this limited time event like a Diablo Season and just pull the rip cord.

Quit trying to lie to people. Max ilvl dps are doing from 6-10mil so the bosses that used to take 10 seconds to die now that 12 second. Get over yourself.

u are so full of shit its funny, 90% of the power is the cloak not ilvl, I am almost fully upgraded but my cloak is like 20k stam but there are people that have 150k stam doing 10x more dmg than me, while being lower ilvl, from all the froggers, and every other farming method that blizz deleted in last week, my guildie had 16m hp, after the frong nerf, he had 15m hp :D it ltierally didnt even touch him

gave remix a go cos it looked fun, after a short while the sheer unbalanced nature of it makes it ridiculous, LFG with me on a 1k HP monk teaming with a 7Million HP tank that is one shotting everything... wow yeah, great fun... how can Mythic or Heroic be any different other than because most peopl eare around the same power level I guess... in my opinion it's lame, the game is not there, there is no 'game'.

The event was designed to get alts leveled quickly by being crazy over powered. Never balanced or a challenge. They made it pretty clear, any misunderstanding is your fault.

There is plenty of bronze to get now. People just want to complain because they can't do everything in a week. It's a 3 month long event and they buffed things enough as I'm already people say they collected everything they wanted from the recent changes.
I’ll be honest about everyone complaining about the bronze grind. I never used any farms or any exploits to get ahead. I just beat the story and did the daily content like raids scenarios and dungeons. I’m 2 gear upgrades away from max and my cloak has 45k stamina. Doing normal and heroic raids, daily dungeons, scenarios, and the quests associated with them and killing world bosses in a decent 5 hour session I can get 40-50k bronze so it’s not that bad
Besides the fact that playing wow 5 hours a day isn't feasible for some people, it definitely gets monotonous. There was a stretch where I was getting tired of doing the same thing every day for 2 weeks. It's getting better now that more people are higher ilvl and I myself am around 430. I don't blame people for complaining about putting this much effort into a "for fun" event. I wasn't having that much fun last week doing all the dailies with terrible gear.
But now youll have to play like 4 hours a day to get maxxed stuff

I understand most people won’t be able to play that much. Here’s how I’m doing it. I’m leveling a bunch of characters to get ready for war within and then I picked one to max out so I can run high level raids and get the achievements. And since I know most people can’t play much I try to help out by running carry squads on normal raids almost every day

Item level does not equal power. It's the stats on the f****** year the equal power. An item could have a 10 million item level, With no stats 0 on everything, nothing at all blank. You're no one more powerful with that item. It's the stats on items. Item level used to mean something back in WotLK. When you see an item level only a piece of gear, You knew if it came from normal heroic or mythic. They know how to adjust stats without adjusting ilevel. The item levels weren't into high, the stats were getting too high.

People mad they can't be 556 ilvl, get all of the mounts, all of the cosmetics, and clear the entire event in a week and actually have to make choices and dare I say it... play the game LUL.
if this is the thinking at blizzard. I dont see any point in getting the next expansion either. I'm sick to the back teeth of these brainless devs going out of their way to suck all fun out of a video game. WHich are literally supposed to be fun.
