May I ask why you guys never travel? Is it just not of interest or more a budget thing? My goal for next year is to start traveling more for sure. I take my son on a cruise once a year...we’ve seen some amazing people places. The Disney Cruise was awesome! I’d love to travel to other places too. You guys should definitely get out a travel more!❤️❤️

Jorge ,I have a question if you ever take time to do this again. What did you think your life was going to be like when you and Nikki got engaged? Did you think you would have four kids, remodeling your home, going to church every Sunday? I always get tickled when I look back at what I thought a perfect life would look like and what I feel is a perfect life today.
You both understand each other so well. It was fun to see the interaction between you both.

I am like Jorge..I live in the moment. Nothing wrong with not having goals as some people want to put it. I think it is a Hispanic thing. I guess we don't see it as goals but as he said we want to be better at things. In better words we look at it in a different perspective. Hope that made since lol. BMI and obesity does not take into account muscle mass! Jorge has lots of muscles and is certainly not obese!

We are all motivated by punishment and reward; in home life, business, relationships, religion, everything. It comes in different forms but it comes down to those two things every time. Why do we as parents think children should be motivated any differently? Even in doing home tasks, we are rewarded by a clean and functional home life. But, for most children having a clean and tidy home and yard are not what they receive satisfaction from, so they must have other motivation outside their own feelings of order and function until these tasks become habits, or they begin to understand the reason behind the task.

You two are cute. We were young parents and then we had another baby when our oldest was 19 and now we aren’t! Ha ha. We have five total. It’s hard to imagine life without them but I guess it’ll come eventually. I’ll be 53 when my youngest is 18, 54 when he graduates high school. He is 4 now. I could easily be a grandparent in a few years. Strange.

I have been learning about what I can and can't do and still be present without my face buried in my phone or the computer so much, that's why I'm not as active within the comments as I used to be. I would like to leave Vegas one day because I want to be surrounded by a place that I love to look at and that inspires me. As long as my grandparents are here we will be staying for sure but my whole family isn't here.
I'm almost 42 and the older I get the more I see and realize how important it is to be around family. (Granted, some are toxic and need to have long distance boundaries). But if the relationships are good then it is great for kids to know their grandparents and for the kids to have them involved. For both generations. My mom tells stories about the past, I never remember, to my kids. Her and my dad are always glad to see them and spend time together. Now as my parents age I also see the importance of being near them. Who knows what the future holds. I do know my mom prayed for all of us the live near by and we do! I have 2 other sisters and no one is more that 20 minutes from my parents🙌🏼. I'm so touched to see the way Nikki takes care of her parents and grandparents 👏👏.

Something truly clicks when they get a job and get paid, working for someone else. I saw it in my first teen, second teen, and now waiting for my 3rd teen to be old enough for a job. Money motives! 💰🤣 And the first two (17 and 16) have a great work ethic...although not so much at home but I'm glad they have it for work. We're still working on their home chores. Which may not click until they get their own house😉

He was being sarcastic. I'm sure Nikki knows it. My husband is similar and does it to get a rise out of me. But I poke fun as well and it's all done in good, tasteful fun.

Oh goodness! My husband is the same way in his sarcasm and joking. It is a type of interaction that not many people grasp. I've watched enough of Nikki and Jorge together to know that he is completely supportive and helpful to her around the home and on her channel. He also gets in on some of the "comments below".

You think so? I thought it was hilarious.....and it’s the truth! I gain a couple people a day while sometimes I lose some. I’ve come to terms with it and Jorge does a great job of keeping it real while bringing an element of humor to the situation.
