2024 Estonian Cup "Mõedaka" Cross Country ATV 4x4 XC

Mõedaka was the second race of Estonian Cup 2024. Last time we raced at Mõedaka was couple of years ago late spring and it was hot and really dusty. However this race was mid spring and conditions were really good.
Couple of words about the track. It is narrow, hard packed, filled with tree roots, stones and full of whoops making it the toughest track I know. Even sand tracks are not this demanding on the machine and the rider.
I had an average start - 5th, but managed to pass Samuel on the second corner for 4th.
Then for couple of laps I was following Ennok and Kaarna, when Kaarna a puncture and stopped to check & replace the tire. A lap later I tried to pass Ennok for 3rd and succeeded.
Half a lap later I caught up with Sinijärv who let me by for 2nd.
Now my mission was to catch 1st place rider Timmusk. I managed to close the gap down to ~14 seconds but then he found another gear and started to widen the gap.
Also my ATV made really worrisome metal clunking noises and I though it's best to take it easy and try to finish 2nd.
All went well I got away with 2nd position.
