Thrilling to meet and see our dear brothers and sisters in the Lord in India! What a Blessed Fellowship we have in the Family of God!
Amen
Excellent work from generation to generation brought out in a beautiful way.

I really really do appreciate the film. It takes me back to 1973/4 when I worked in Madras (as was) for a year and came to know the Minister, the Rev Murdoch MacKenzie, Anne and their three children. A fluent Tamil speaker, Murdoch did great work for the Kirk and for deprived people in the slum areas of the city.
With my wife Margaret, I revisited the Kirk in 1989/90 and again in 2005 and it is good to learn that both the building and the congregation continue to prosper after all these years. The work of the architect and builder, Thomas de Havilland, is among the best that the British could bring to India: his spire high about the conquered marsh is indeed an inspiration to this day!
We Praise God for His faithfulness & glad to be blessed through the rich heritage of St. Andrew's Kirk.
Thank you for this film. My grandfather was minister from 1948 to 1957, Richard Baigrie. It’s a pleasure to see this great church still active and I hope very much to visit one day soon.
Thank you. Nice to know about your grand father. Could you kindly share your e mail so the church could get in touch with you.
Thank you for sharing this with us. God bless you all for the work you are continuing to do. Congratulations on your bicentenary a great history and I pray God you continue inHis service.. How glorious is the sound of that organ. I have never been to the Kirk...yet. My great great grandfather George' Edwards' eldest daughter Elizabeth Victoria Edwards was married to James Kenneth Williams at the Kirk on 17 Dec 1856. Sadly James died in 1860 leaving Elizabeth widowed with two small children Mary Elizabeth Williams b 1857 and Julia Esther Williams b 1859 but died in Hyderabad in 1860. She moved to Hyderabad with her brother, my great grandfather John William Edwards and became Headmistress of St George's Girls School Hyderabad.
