Interstate 275 (I-275), located in Florida, is a 60-mile-long (97 km) auxiliary Interstate Highway serving the Tampa Bay Area. Its southern terminus is at Interstate 75 near Palmetto, where I-275 heads west towards the Sunshine Skyway Bridge crossing over Tampa Bay. From that point, I-275 passes through St. Petersburg before crossing Tampa Bay again on the Howard Frankland Bridge, then continues through the city of Tampa, where it connects to an interchange with Interstate 4 in Downtown Tampa. After the interchange, I-275 passes north through the Tampa suburbs to its northern terminus at Interstate 75 in Wesley Chapel.

Thanks for the video. I lived in Pinellas County in the 80's while the new Sunshine Skyway was being built. Drove over the old span many times before it was taken down and turned into the fishing piers.

@@tameikabrown although traffic can affect the way they sound, they can have a sound without it. The person doesn't literally mean that they taste delicious, just that they sound very good like music to their ears

Love the sound of the bridge in Pinellas County from 16:10 to 16:38 and play it on repeat whenever I watch this video! I live in Upstate New York and wish my bridges sounded like Florida's. I could listen to that Florida bridge sound all day long.

We been there 7 years of Tampa and St Petersburg Inerstate and dive the Sunrise Skyway Bridge boy it was tall

Oh yeah. Every time I've driven through that stretch in Tampa it's been slow traffic.

@@MileageMikeTravels, that traffic reminded me of the congestion in Austin, what happens when you have only one Interstate in such a large metro area.
275 looks good from Kennedy Blvd to downtown. I remember the mess when they were widening it back in the 2010s.
From when this video was filmed it actually was just re-widened because It was actually 2 lanes after passing Kennedy Blvd Exit until the ramp merges in to make 4 lanes, now it's 5
Out of curiosity why I-75 never went through this route?

They’re replacing the southbound bridge, building a new one, four lanes both ways with express and future light rail.

Mileage Mike - I’m driving down to Tampa in a couple weeks from Maryland. The GPS is saying 95 South to FL 200 towards Callahan, turns into 301 towards Ocala, then Right on NW 77th/326 to 75 South to Tampa. Would it be easier to take 95 South, then Route 10 West until I hit Route 75S? Seems like the first way is cutting through smaller towns?? Is the first way in fact faster? Thanks for any advice. Love the videos!
The Interstate route will probably be easier since the signage is better but the First route is faster. Notice how the other route bypasses Jax making it faster. If you take the interstate route then it'd be best to take I-295 until I-10 exit towards Lake City
Huge kudos for recognizing the Sunshine Skyway Bridge as part of Hillsborough county, not Pinellas or Manatee. natives don't even know about that and the logistical nightmare it creates (re: jumpers)
This is a really nice freeway to drive on and I love this video! Thank you so much! But, I do have a couple pf questions. When are you going to film the Northeast (PA, NJ, NYC, NY State, New England, DE, and the rest of MD)? And when are you going to film the Midwest and Great Lakes (IL, MI, OH, IN, WI, MN and MO)? And what's next on the list in terms of in UA-cam Uploads?
The northeast beyond Maryland probably sometime in 2022, not sure about the midwest yet. There are a few places around the southeast I'll be filling in that I haven't hit yet. WV as well.

Hills borough county is small only the skyway bridge
Well that was a small part of Hillsborough County. There is more of Hillsborough County at 36:13 - 1:09:31. Then there is Pasco County. The whole video doesn't include The whole Hillsborough County
