Hi Tcha! Interesting- do you hear an open string somewhere? Or is there some evidence that Django recorded in A flat?

not exactly open strings, but resonances of open strings, 2min20seconds, he plays a B on the Gstring, that resonates on his open E-string, on the G-major cord in the end of the bridge.
and after that, 2minutes25sceconds, another beautiful resonance of the oppen low E string just before the end.
