I just want to point this out right now. I recently heard of all the controversy surrounding TheKingNappy. Absolutely in no way do I support the things he did. I can't believe the stuff he had done all this time, and I had not been aware of it. It's even hard for me to look at him the same way again (Read more for a deeper explanation). I've been a huge fan for 4 years, watching every episode of Soul Link and the Penta Ops, and being my favorite PokéTuber. Looking back, I do see how in some ways he was manipulative, power-hungry, and an asshole. I'm in one the worst shocks in my life right now while writing this comment, and I've been holding back some tears. If any of you want to support him, that's your choice. I'm still unsure right now since this is still developing. That being said, please don't judge this video based on that alone. I still want this video to reflect on all the good Soul Link has brought to the community. I don't want (and will probably remove) comments arguing about any of Nappy's actions that've been recently brought to attention. This is not the place for them. I still want Nappy to be a good, inspirational person and how he can reflect that in his videos. I still wish him the best of luck on whatever comes next for him, whatever he does, as long as he doesn't cause problems for people again. TDLR: I don't support what Nappy did, I'm in complete shock, I don't know how I should react, but I still wish the best for him, and don't leave bad comments against him on this video. It was during a time when I was really lost and need something to distract my mind when I was going through a serious depression. It became my thing to look forward to to help me keep on living. I have very fond memories of these soul links. It just hurts that one of the people behind them hurt so many. There are days were sometimes I want to look back and watch those videos, at the same time I don’t want to support Nappy. Now I found a video that I can watch them again. It’s bitter sweet. But I’m glad it’s here. My support goes out to all of the victims. And it always will. 💜
Man I am so sad when I watched the video explaining what happened with Nappy. I have been watching Nappy’s content from Sacred gold and up to ultra sun and moon before it got cancelled. As someone who loved Nappy’s content, my heart was broken, RIP soul link you provided me with entertainment for years.

Nappy's inexcusable behavior aside, this was the greatest series of Pokemon content during the 2014-2019 era of pokemon UA-cam content. Nappy was in my opinion, the best nuzlocker in the community. He almost never would lose his Locke's and could seemingly come back from any situation. On a personal note, he is the reason I even like Pokemon today, especially nuzlocker and soul links. Not to mention his sense of humor and overall amazing style of commentary. It always felt like he was being totally real with his audience in his commentary even when he discussed personal stuff (ironic huh?). However in watching back some montages and thinking back, I couldn't help but notice some things about him that should have come off as red flags. Nappy would get uncomfortably angry when he lost Pokemon in nuzlockes or when he was calling people who were upset with him comments. I get being upset but I think anyone who watched nappy for all those years can attest, he seemed to be someone who didn't like things not going his way. And in a sort of weird way, it was that attitude that helped him build the Pokemon community. There wouldn't be shadypenguin, Gameboyluke, patterz, adrive, numbnexus, sacred, jayYT, heatedmo, you name em, they probably wouldn't have a Pokemon youtubing career if not for nappy. And it would ultimately lead to his downfall. He loved the power he had over all the previously mentioned people and so he was willing to manipulate them however he saw fit. And he got so conceited he didn't even realize he was doing anything wrong. You know I just thought of this in typing this, but since nappy has "come back" he has rebranded his channel simply to "nappy" and in a very poetic way, it fits. He is no longer the king he once was. He is a fallen king who has had all his power and influence stripped from him. And with his fall, so too did his kingdom. Pokemon UA-cam simply hasn't been the same since he fell. I hope one day the king can return but I'm not holding my breath. Well like he used to say, "I'm out." But hope someday he will be "back again, once again." 😞
He was my favorite PokéTuber too. Penta Op was the best Pokémon series ever. It’s hard to watch that again and not notice the red flags during his interactions with the others. Also, I think Pokémon Challenges is the king of Nuzlockes now :P
I’ve been watching nappy for so long I’ve found it super hard recently to watch anything other then him. honestly when everything started I was shook and didn’t want to believe anything. Man... my heart is in so much pain. I have been watching nappy for 4 years I believe. I really thought he was a good person. I want him to post a better apology then the one he posted before he deleted his Twitter it needs to be straight to the victims maybe then they can move on and be happy. I know there is a group of people that really want nappy to come back but I don’t see that happening with the huge hate and disappointment that’s speeding through the Pokémon community. One important thing to learn about nuzlockes--anything that can go wrong will go wrong. Any rudimentary pokemon knowledge that you have will be circumvented by Murphy's Law at any given moment as soon as you let your guard down.
I’ve watched this compilation video so many times and I have it on in the background while I’m playing Pokémon. There were also many times where I try to pause the video to read the transition messages and end up missing it so I would have to go back and try again. I do like those messages though. Some made me laugh.

Volskaya getting the 10% paralysis saved the entire soul link, tbh. The only reason the rest of Shady’s team escaped that Kyogre was because it was paralyzed. Volskaya’s sacrifice was truly the greatest.
Someone just commented and I can’t find it, but I missed a death in Diamond and Pearl. I thought I had everything, but of course I had to miss something. This actually made me kinda upset when I found out.

Hey man great vid, you really put much effort into this. Only thing is that your own little messages in between were on the screen for a really short amount of time, I had to always pause at the right time to read. Maybe in the future leave it on a bit longer.

Man... my heart is in so much pain. I have been watching nappy for 4 years I believe. I really thought he was a good person. I want him to post a better apology then the one he posted before he deleted his Twitter it needs to be straight to the victims maybe then they can move on and be happy. I know there is a group of people that really want nappy to come back but I don’t see that happening with the huge hate and disappointment that’s speeding through the Pokémon community. So I guess this is bye to nappy but not the monster that’s been exposed I wanna say bye to the nappy I thought I knew for years.

I only just got into the soul link in recent months and i am only up to their platinum run through. It's so sad to hear what happened but should I continue through as i have really enjoyed the series so far? I would just like someone else's opinion on this.
