I think its the perfect timing to play all of their deep cuts live on the 5sos show with the giant inflatable red dice to pick songs, and they chose english love affair for the first time!! And yes it took awhile but its worth it
The bass in this song is WILD. It's really tricky, and Calum's gotta sing, which is why I think they never risked playing it live. But their live performances now are phenomenal! Even Ashton manages to do his vocal parts live now (Luke would usually take over) and still plays the drums like a beast! I believe this is the best time for performing the song live.
