About Batman V Superman:
From director Zack Snyder comes Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, starring Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent in the characters' first big-screen pairing. Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.

I find it interesting that the comments section for the BvS soundtrack is such a positive place. It's like a warzone out there for BvS lovers!
Soundtracks pretty much always have people who love the film its from; haters/trolls don't come to these places.
Thank God for that!
+Lord Jeffries I don't like bvs but I do like it's soundtrack.
Not really? I don't like the movie
I liked the movie but deeply disliked Luthor. I get that we are supposed to hate the bad guy, but lex just annoyed me and kind of jarred the whole viewing expirience.
Bruce Wayne witnessing and running towards Metropolis is one of my favorite scenes in movies general.
+thepunkster90x the camera work was great. Reminded me of Die hard 4, when Bruce Willis is being chased by the helico.
+SamDana Who jumps out of what window?
Yeah I was looking for someone's commentary about that for like it :) Cool scene
snyder did a fucking genius job on this movie. fucking love it
Agreed
The only thing about that fight was that it didn't resolve the issue with batman having grudge about superman. I think the fight 5min could have been better had both vented about the frustrations they had about each other, and then transition into martha scene or even if not martha, more like Lex set us up. He set me up. He set you up all for this, right here, right now. etc. But no it rushed. Eh the movie still rocked.
@@Stingerbillion the Martha thing was important. It was the whole main thing. When he heard the name, h
Batman realised that although alien, Clark was as much a human as the little kid in that alley was. And he realised that if he killed him, he was no different than Joe chill, who killed Martha. He was becoming Joe Chill if he killed Clark and caused Martha's death. It made him snap out of the rage and anger that had consumed him, that was making him the thing he feared. He was becoming what he wanted to stop from the beginning of his life. So yeah, the Martha thing was the most important part actually.
FINALLY
someone who had the guts to say it
You sir have my respect
@@sanjaishelby8346 Because you're too dense to understand it probably. Did you even watch the Ultimate edition?
Glad to hear Hans Zimmer remaster his soundtrack in this movie. Hearing those drums in the theatre was so epic!
Same
agree
+Wei Jun So sad he said it was his last superhero movie :'(
+Galen Marek WAIT WHAT
Nick Smellie www.theverge.com/2016/3/30/11331260/hans-zimmer-retiring-superhero-scores-batman-v-superman :'(
Man, I was fucking ON BOARD with the movie. Bruce driving around the destruction is so fucking epic while Hans Zimmer music is ON FIRE.
I will be watching BVS again today.
saw it 5 times love the movie.
Leduong81818@gmail.com Le Le see it 3 more times.
Hans Zimmer is one of the best.
Such a good soundtrack for such a bad movie
Can this music and one of John Williams’ music mashup to this?
THE BEST.
Waited so long for this movie .. And it did not disappoint .. Not one bit .. Acting was awesome .. The plot was complicated just the way it should be .. And the soundtrack was top class as always by Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL ..
agreed 100%
👌🏻
"The plot was complicated like it should be" lol
did you see the ultimate cut.
.holy shit!!!!..😀😀😀
Martha? Who said Martha?
Whatever you think of the film, you probably won't disagree that the music was awesome, especially in terms of creating atmosphere
+MisterDuffy it's the only thing I actually enjoyed from the movie (except for the WW theme rumbling every fucking time we see her face)
+Zaneblack978 I agree with you. I really loved the soundtrack but for some reason the WW theme was the only one that didn't click with me. I don't mind seeing all the love it's getting though, even if it did feel out of place in some scenes.
The wonder woman theme was one of my favorite themes haha
Indeed.
Yep, I agree. Horrible movie, but absolutely wonderful soundtrack.
04:16 onwards is a fucking masterpiece
yes dude
+The Squealer Dealers Everytime I remember the scene of Bruce running toward the falling building. That was epic!
It does sound great. But when I first listened to this before seeing the movie I thought it was going to be a title sequence like the avengers. Right when the scene with Bruce staring at the sky ended, the screen would go black. Then we would see the word Batman, then Superman, then V, then at the end of the choir: Dawn of Justice. I would've preferred something like that then hearing batman's theme.
sonicmario78 You got a point, but I really liked how they did it in the end. It's very different from Avengers, in a positive way.
I feel lile crying ;_;
Hans Zimmer's the man, epic score again!
Your not brave, Men are brave!
+Dan Bharry you're
+Mangalex28 haha
+Marcus Charley Yeah but without the Kryptonite spear they would have been screwed
+Black Messiah because he's chicken shit
And the fact that batman hid under a rock during the doomsday fight scene 😂 smh
THIS FILM IS A MASTERPIECE
4:17 - 4:35 When I heard that part in the cinema, I really drop a tear, it was so intense and I have listen this song before the movie was out, so Listen this in the movie was something incredible and amazing at the same time :c
That son of a bitch brought the war to us
the quote fits your profile picture lol
***** Because he's Batman!
Ur not Bruce Wayne, chill out. ( BTW That son of a bitch brought the war to us ( Superman) .
that begining though thats what always brings me back DUM DUM DUM NEEEE NEEEE DUM DUM DUM
Bruce: "Where is your mommy?"
Little girl: points out the burned building while crying.
That scene and the one from the funeral almost made me cry.
I remember her pointing at the building that came burning down...My jaw drop
Laser Pony yeah. When she pointed to the building I was like: OH SHIT!
RecklessAbandonGaming wow
RecklessAbandonGaming I just thought it was funny that you and your friends laughed during this scene
+RecklessAbandonGaming wow
True superhero fans, (regardless of being marvel or a DC fan) , will love this movie
This... gives me...
POWER!
+BrolyFan101 kakaroootott
+Diego Schnider Yes... It makes me think about..... Kakarot.. KAKAROOOOOOTT!!
+Irvin Allymohamed Is he the legendary super sand?
+BrolyFan101 Are you an Super Sand
+AnonyDeath CFW Brave possibly
I love how they used a similar soundtrack from the same scenes in the Man of Steel. Brought back memories and just made that scene so powerful.
+Dwkim91 as this scene started...I sat back into my seat, looked on with awe and whispered to myself "this is gonna be one hell of an incredible film!"
+Eva Green Me too..... And then everything starts to dissolve pretty quickly :(
0:55 - 1:00
METROPOLIS
When Superman is introduced to mankind.
+CoolBoyZzxx This was so awesome man
Fail.
The quote is:
METROPOLIS
MANKIND IS INTRODUCED TO THE SUPERMAN
@@TheManlyVIK Bhavani Karthik Is that you?
Best movie I've ever seen

This movie was fucking awesome!!
+Pure Fun and Stopmotions But why your profile pic is spiderman
Wow i just commented Just because I have spiderman as my profile pic doesn't mean I can't admit when a movie is awesome! Spidey is my fav superhero minus flash.
this scene was amazing!!!
in the end, batfleck turned out to be the best batman
+brendahaus Damn right.
brendahaus i agree i love his batman
Haha. I hope you're joking.
He literally has the perfect bruce wayne/batman face
@@CoolNinja925 nah man he looks perfect for this role more thab the the dark knight actoe
Problably the best superhero theme
This movie brings out the true DC
Yep, pretty sure this is the score that will accompany the Man of Steel flashback scene from Bruce's point of view. And I love it! Can't wait for this movie to drop!
i just come here for 0:00-4:35
***** ikr
What about the last second?
Red undavairs same
Didn't we all?
Hahahhaha you are so funny lmao
Anyone else thought the beginning of this movie was awesome?? I feel the intro with Bruce and the bats were amazing and the Metropolis fight was stunning with this music!!!
I saw people enter in the theater five minutes after the begining of the movie. I pity them.
best movie of 2016
The score of this movie > Entire MCU!!
I was blown away with Hans Zimmer's MOS score but fuck me! He really stepped up his game this time around. I CANNNOT WAIT TILL NEXT WEEK!! WE DID IT DC FANS!!!! THE MOVIE WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR ALL OUR LIVES IS OUT NEXT WEEK!!
+Black Adam786
Plus, he is with Junkie XL, who did the Mad Max: Fury Road Score.
This could be the most pathetic and lamest fanboy comment ever...
+Cj Cj Not entirely true, The Captain America Movies have good themes as well as the Avengers but still not as Memorable as the DC movies/TV shows
+Black Adam786 wonder woman cuts off doomsday's head, doomsday blasts lex luthor with radiation, causing his hair to fall out, and all of the batman in the desert scenes are nightmares of bruce wayne.
+The Fumbo Muffin Where you got that info?
I was disappointed I didn’t hear this in the Justice League film. This is an awesome soundtrack
from Bruce Wayne prospective was crazy and scary when the destruction happen around him
Those tumbling strings at 3:15. LOVE EM!!
Bring on the Justice League!
1:42 - 1:49 can’t stop listening to this part. Just hits different.
I honestly find it so hard that people despise mos and bvs. They are MASTERPIECES!!!! And the scores are just beyond this world.
1 dislike? Nice try Tony Stark
+H. Ar. Cap came.
+H. Ar. Lol you guys are funny
+Rondel Moore Spidey came too.
Catalyzer935 Shit the Avengers are assembling.
+Rondel Moore of course they are, batman v superman is out in 3 days and they prebooked their tickets.
Best music ever I love this movie
I LOVED THE MOVIE!
I can’t stop listenin to the beginnin portion of this song, it’s so powerful! The way it elevates is insane! Just magnificently orchestrated art!
When i was in the theater and the bruce's perspective of seeing the destruction was so beautifully done, and this music added to that epicness.
Goodbye, Henry Cavill, you will be missed as Superman, the only one to have excelled in this role after Christopher Reeve.
mix of arcade in this song, glad they kept most of man of steel music
Please let this be the theme for the opening credits/first scene.
+TheoKabala89 Actually if you remember the TV Spot where Superman confronts Batman in his Batmobile and told him "the bat is dead," and Batman asked him if he bleed the beginning of this track began to play.
+TheoKabala89 This is basically batman's theme song. BTW just saw the movie.
+TheoKabala89 It is. Second scene.
+Armando021694 Spoiler Spoiler !!!. The ending almost made me cry, but actually superman is not dead! He's alive, in fact his aura is so powerful that when he was dead, his aura made the dirt on His coffin float.
+Aleks loves To see James in a deadpool outfit. why would you comment a spoiler you do realize how hard it is to not read that part dude? why ruin it for the ones who haven't seen the movie
I love the part at the beginning of this song where Bruce is riding out of the hole. The first time I saw it I thought Zach Snyder went crazy and gave Batman powers.
Had to listen this after watching Justice League.
Yes ._.
this song is fucking beautiful
My heart was racing during this scene... spectacular
I got chills
Zimmer told in an interview the Batman related theme was actually created by XL
Maybe because Zimmer did The Dark Knight theme and doing a whole new theme would be a challenge
To me the music is what really stood out about this movie. That and Ben Affleck's performance
+MegaMac464 At least even DC haters admit that Ben Affleck is so good
Best DC theme ever love Hans Zimmer
4:16 JAAAAACK!!
Honestly the first 50 seconds of this is the best part to me
Those drums are so awesome!
its good to have zod's theme appear in the song :)
Here!! In 2021, waiting zacks snyder justice league!!!!
yes, me too ❤️
Hans Zimmer did great in this song☝👍
That opening until 0:50 is what I want to hear in every Batman movie from now on.
This Soundtrack is Great
#BatmanvSupermanisAwesome
The first minute of this is very Powerful... strings then drums, then drama!
RedDigitalMusic ikr
Warner Bros : Fuck off Zack!
0:05 *Zacks Fanbase approaches*
As one of the few people that loved this movie- flaws and all- this soundtrack was epic!
the drums are so vicious
Here this art Marvel and think again whether we ever lost ...
No.1- #restorethesnyderverse
No.2 - no 1
This is Alone better than all marvel scores
The best Marvel score is Birth of Sandman from Spider-Man 3 composed by Christopher Young and the Logan soundtrack.
Still gives me goosebumps.
Hey marvel. Breath in, that's fear.
@Prodigy Metacritic and IMDB too.
Also, Marvel (to DC): I hope they remember you.
1:13 so sick !!!
#releasethesnydercut... WE DID IT LADS ITS COMING
Eargasm!! Best soundtrack ever made for a super hero movie!!
0:13-0:20 gives me chills
My all time favourite movie
Fucking amazing Their War Here; lil Bruce ascending towards the light with bats!!
the soundtracks of this movie are really awesome.
Snyder made MoS and BvS with more depth than the entire MCU combined
Holy crap this soundtrack is unbelievable, pure awesomness!!
a movie doesn't just is photography or direction too the soundtracks are masterpieces
General zod superman and batman in this one scene all together is so EPIC!!
0:00 to 1:00
it should be the part of 'Beautiful Lie' music, right??
Anyone else here after hearing the news Affleck is back as batman in flashpoint movie
1:09 this is where the fun begins
Love the nod to MOS OST "Arcade"
+Michael Mejos With some other great instruments added.
+Matías Barraza Awesome mix this is. Arcade was epic too.
It is coming! The bell has been rung!
So nobody will talk about the poster???
Look how amazing it is
Just...the best from the comics movie i ever seen ... whit an awsome. Score by h.zimmer and j. xl...what a Missunderstood masterpiece!!! I feel sorry for those didnt aprechiate This epic ,realístic and more grounded story ARC from This two well known comics characters in the world of pop culture....love BvS ue and what a masterpiece soundtrack got this universe... beautiful
Theme music nowadays for superhero movies are always amazing
Bruce Wayne's perspective of the fight between Kal-El and Zod was amazing!
The last 20 seconds omg!
00:00 - 00:14 - Wait???? the flash series theme?
+Killua Murdock When you change the speed to 0.5 it's actually very similar
Last amazing DC's soundtrack. Now with Elfman, we will have commercial shit like in Marvel movies. Fucking 21st century where majority of people want to see popcorn movies for their fucking saturday night.
Ask for good movies and for good soundtrack, seriously. Or they will give to you their shit for many years... In fact, maybe you like it ?
Thanks Zimmer and Junkie XL for your amazing job on BvS !
Those violins never fail to give me goosebumps
this is the best piece from the soundtrack. Love the film also.
This score alone is better than ALL the Marvel films combined!
The shot when bruce looks up at sky while holding the girl. Man ! That was awesome! You messed with the wrong person!
So glad they brought back "Arcade". My favorite super villain theme from the DCEU.
that into is just INSANE!!!
Saw the movie last night and it was EPIC. Everyone nailed their respective roles and the score was phenomenal along with the visuals and action. Now here just to listen to all this goodness without distraction.
+Josh
This is what puzzles me about this movie, even more so than Man of Steel. The sheer disparity between the Critics and the audience/fans thus far. Not even Michael Bay movies have this kind of chasm.
Something smells fishy, and I'm not talking about Aquaman's trousers.
Kal'sik Herensk If you read the reviews, they really make no sense. Firstly, none ever explain why they don't like silly elements of the film such as the grim nature of the movie. Ok, why don't you like the grim nature of the movie? But nope, not gonna elaborate on it, just "Nope, nope, I just don't like it, therefore bad movie." Other than that, "critics" just ripping it apart over the STUPIDEST gripes, such as a critic literally being mad that the movie didn't take place in Metropolis very much. Uh, they may as well be in Metropolis as the two cities are right across the bay from one another. Just nail-bitingly ridiculous gripes about this movie from critics who are obviously biased.
Josh
And considering how fast these 'hater' critics jumped upon the movie, I bet they went in with preconceived notions and didn't relinquish them. You don't like the dark, serious tone that actually reflects current comic books, that the trailers clearly let you know you were getting in for?
Judge movies for what they were trying to accomplish versus final result, only compare to previous movies if part of a series. AKA, Man of Steel, and nothing else until Suicide Squad.
That's what I'm thinking is that these critics didn't give the film a chance by going in and seeing the movie for what it was. Instead they most likely watched the film while making comparisons to other CBMs not even associated with DC and then wrote a scathing review out of spite for a movie that was bold enough to do something different with the genre, a sentiment that the majority of audiences who have seen it so far, seem to agree with.
+Josh
Im so glad i found people that feel the same way i do! What im about to say maybe long but its like the only place i can say this without people biting my head off for an opinion....Okay so what annoys me with all these negative critic reviews is the fact that i think they all went into the movie expecting an Avengers style film and when it came out the complete opposite they bagged it. MARVEL is so far into their Cinematic Universe that whenever DC bring out a film now its because they want to 'catch up' to MARVEL and is criticized in comparison (Granted only Man of Steel and BvS have come out), hell BvS was being compared to The Dark Knight which is bs. I read a review that literally bagged the film for being humorless, and another review that was all about how you shouldnt take your child to see this, which basically criticized its dark tone. Again im getting that 'Thinking this is the Avengers vibe, catered for all ages and is light and easy to look at.'....No
Also is the whole MARVEL vs DC thing, Like where was all this MARVEL vs DC when the Dark Knight trilogy was released? Granted, besides Begins, The Dark Knight came out the same year as Iron Man 1. Thor and Captain America came out one year before Rises, and the Avengers came out the same year as Rises. Now i might just have a bad memory but i dont remember any MARVEL vs DC then. But the minute Man of Steel came out and didnt do too well (I enjoyed MoS, not excellent but good) all of a sudden its DC is horrible.....but excuse me all 3 batman movies did better than ANY MARVEL movie. This isnt an attack on MARVEL in any way I love Captain America and quite enjoyed the Avengers. But the vibe i got was that as soon as that trilogy was over and DC were going to start a new, with Man of Steel not doing well people just assumed that the entirety of DCs new future was going to be the same. And of course immeditely started to compare it with MARVEL now that Nolans trilogy was out of the way and they actually had something to compare it to.
Now I have to go get ready for my second time watching this movie...
(I hope this makes sense, was kind of angry with some of these reviews and am just sort of rambling)
Epic
