The Unimog belongs to a friend of mine and he customized it. Originally it was the standard Tamiya Unimog. In my video "River Crossing" you can see how the Mog looked like.

Vielen Dank! Der Scheinwerferbügel auf dem Unimog trägt den Namen "Alloy Roof Sport Light type II" und ist von Topcad. Habe den über Ebay gekauft. Einen ziemlich baugleichen gibt es auch von Integy.

Hello. What shock setup is used? It looks quite stiff...AMAZING video by the way.
We are driving the CC-01s in stock suspension setup, which works fine normally (because of the weight of the trucks). When we filmed this video, we had a really low temperature (-10° C or 14°F), so the oil in the shocks became very stiff.

Hello Kyle, the snow chains are custom made. I used a simple (and cheap) chain from the hardware store with unsoldered chain links. You can simply open up the chain links by using a pair of pliers. Make two chain rings matching the diameter of your tires and then build some simple cross connections. Thank you very much for watching!

Ebenfalls empfehlen kann ich den SCX10 von Axial. Dieser verfügt auch ohne Modifikationen über deutlich bessere Off-Road Eigenschaften, liegt im Preis aber leider auch deutlich über den Tamiyas. Ich kann Dir das Rockcrawler(.de)-Forum empfehlen. Dort gibt es zu allen Chassis-Typen Einsteigertipps und noch vieles mehr. Und vielleicht kannst Du dort auch jemanden zum Fahren aus Deiner Nähe finden.

Hallo PapaJoe! Erstmal vielen Dank fürs Anschauen und Kommentieren! Mein erstes Off-Road-Modell war der Tamiya CC-01 Toyota Land Cruiser aus diesem Video. Ich denke der ist für einen Einsteiger ziemlich geeignet, da er vom Preis relativ günstig zu haben ist und man noch so einiges an dem Auto verbessern kann (dann hat man auch was zum Basteln).

What tyres has the land cruiser got?
Hallo, sehr schöne Wagen und super Video ! Ich hoffe meine Frage wurde nicht schon beantwortet.;-) Wo finde ich denn eine passende Seilwinde für meinen CC-01 Toyota Land Cruiser ? Vielen Dank für die Hilfe.
Ich verwende in allen meinen Modellen die Winde von 3racing. Am günstigsten ist diese auf Ebay aus Hong Kong zu bekommen. Einfach mal nach folgendem Begriff bei Ebay suchen: "3Racing Automatic Crawler Winch Control System 1:10 Car Truck Off Road #CR01-27". Bei einer Bestellung in Hong Kong ist allerdings mit einer Lieferzeit von ca. 2-3 Wochen zu rechnen. Vielen Dank fürs Anschauen!

Wie hast du die wohnkabine vom unimog gebaut??
Die Wohnkabine wurde aus Polystyrol-Platten gebaut. Allerdings nicht von mir selbst, denn der Unimog gehört einem Freund von mir. Im Rockcrawler.de-Forum kannst Du einen genauen Baubericht des Unimogs finden, gib einfach oben in der Suche "U406 in Corsa Grey" ein. Vielen Dank fürs Anschauen!
