Machado mvp, if you have two guys on the same team running for mvp then neither of them carried their team to the playoffs.
Yanks fan, and yeah, agreed, without judge mashing they were a third place team.
In hindsight, picking Toronto to win it all was a bit rough but I can't really begrudge you missing on the Dodgers/Braves/Mets, each of whom won at least 100 games and just got outplayed by a team that got super hot in October. It happens sometimes.
Don't be too hard on yourself I picked the Tigers and Red Sox to win their divisions and Boston to win the AL
I thought the Orioles were going to be better, but not THAT much better.
I always look forward to this every year.

The best case most everyone was saying for the O's was 70 wins and maybe playing spoiler to some playoff teams as the season came to an end. If anyone said they would be above .500, you were either a liar who was trolling or had a DeLorean.

Yeah, No one was guessing the NL ROY before the season started. Neither Harris or Strider were on anyone's radar until close to Mid-Season. But, that's the way it often goes with ROY candidates. Still, I know you whiffed hard on the AL east, but I'm actually pretty impressed with how close you were on calling the other divisions, including nailing both the AL West and NL East.

The blue jays aren’t that good. Everything when right for them in 2021 and they didn’t make it. In 2022 their hitting got worse by losing semien and their pitching staff got 10 times worse and people predicted them to win the World Series. Got swept.

Can’t blame ya for your Brewers and White Sox picks. Most disappointing teams this past season. Such high hopes for both, especially Milwaukee, after a 95-win season in ‘21 and four straight postseason appearances. They just didn’t address their needs or make the necessary roster upgrades. Injuries got the pitching staff real bad and the Hader trade was the dagger. Hope they don’t become an irrelevant team in the next few years because of this huge setback. They’ve been so close to appearing in their first WS since 1982 and they need to make that push and commit to being a win-now contending team like what we’re seeing with Seattle.

The worst predictions. I have ever seen. Marc, being the true biased Mets fans that he is. Can’t see the LolMets factor. Also, no respect for the Phillies.
That’s a pretty common and predictable move. People will pick someone else to win it all instead of their team when their team is in contention. That way it’s a win win situation for them. They look like they’re unbiased and a genius by picking another team like the braves in this situation. And if it’s right they can go “oh wow look at me I predicted it I’m very smart”. But if their team wins they can gloat and not worry about being wrong bc their team won. “Oh well what can I say my team is just outstanding and they beat the team I predicted to win”. That’s worse then being biased actually. Just kind of pathetic.

Idt the Yankees woulda beaten the Astros anyways with Gio and Gary. I love Gio, but he was one of the worst defenders in the league, compared to Donaldson who was only worse than GG winner Urias by the metrics. He was awful offensively whilst Gio was really good, but their production was about the same.
You could have had the NL allstar team, and you still wouldn't beat the Astros.
