Very nice version of the great FREE song. Nice performances all round. The Hammond organ worked really nicely. Something l don’t think was in the Free version.
Sherbet had a load of pop/rock hits here in Australia in the mid 70's, they were unlike any other band in the world !! Ahead of their time, our answer to Bon Jovi, but 10 years earlier !! I saw them once, and they were really heavy, not poppy like they sounded on the radio 😊
Growing up in South Australia I always thought this was an orginal Sherbet song... they were/are a fantastic band... I prefer this cover to that by Free on the Hearbreak album.
@@robgodden6736 mmm Na was around at the time when free did it and sherbet but it does belong to free not a sherbet fan lol Learnt how to respect music once I started playing myself Glad u like the song Enjoy

I'll be stuffed. I've been a Free fan since about 1977 when I first heard them, but I didn't know Sherbet did this.
This was a standard for pub bands in Sydney at the time .
Sherbet doing Free? and a good version of one of the coolest Free songs? Ya learn something new every day!
