It was, without a doubt, one of the most talked-about topics in the past couple of days. While basketball is a physical sport by nature, intentional body checks are still frowned upon - and most of the time result in a foul. For Caitlin Clark.
So, who is #CaitlinClark? She is considered to be one of the greatest players in the history of women’s college basketball, especially known for her scoring. As a guard for the University of Iowa in 2024, the 22-year-old player became the all-time leading scorer in NCAA basketball, surpassing Pete Maravich’s record of 3,667 points. Unsurprisingly, she was the number one overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, selected by the Indiana Fever. What’s more, her widespread popularity has helped increase interest in women’s college basketball.
Some say that Caitlin’s love for the sport is a part of who she is, growing up in an athletic family. Although she played various sports, she eventually concentrated on basketball and was a phenom from a young age. . Her grandfather recalled that, by the time Clark was five years old, she could dribble a basketball and already displayed great anticipation on the court.

These people who say "flagrant fouls" are just part of the game, need to reevaluate why the are even calling games. Caitlin may be a young player, a rookie, but she is a Pro in her demeanor, skill set and dedication to her team. These jealous, insecure teammates as well as challengers, need to be held accountable for their actions. Caitlin has shown more class, professionalism and skill than most of the others. Yet she has the grace, composure and maturity to be humble and grateful for her opertunity. Caitlin you are an amazing talent and person. A first class professional with a outstanding future. The refs need to get educated for all the players not just Caitlin.
If they can't see what happening in front of their own eyes they need to be re-educated on the game. It's happened to other players as well, but in my opinion Cautlin is getting hit for non basketball plays. These cheap shots make the league look foolish. Same happened to Angel until an actual ref did their job and ejected a player. That takes guys. The league is better with these new players. Caitlin has drawn more fans,put more butts in seats for all games. The revenue the league is getting better ratings. One should thank her, but typical women get jealous instead of thanking her for helping the league stay afloat. Petty woman are exactly the reason the WNBA is not or was not profitable. Going forward these players need to work together and not against each other. Cautlin has great sponsors and the reason for that is her personality. She's humble and doesn't speak ill of others on camera. Ladies get it together there has never been a player like her and may never happen again. Be humble, do your job and you too will be noticed and you will see great things happen. This includes coaches and ex players.
Carter, Reese and any other haters need to be removed from the sport to NEVER play ANY sport again.

Thug play is thug play. The fact that the guy running the show shrugs off what should have been an immediate ejection tells a powerful story. Silver is a fool and hopefully can muster up the smarts and show enough class to retire in the near future.
I think it safe to say a major reason the league is where it’s at is absolute second rate league leadership and coaching.

A hit like that can be excused as accidental in some cases. But this instance as we all saw was intentional and was unsportsmanlike conduct. The player should have received a foul of some kind. What happened makes it look like the entire referee crew, all the players on both teams, and all coaches were in on the incident. I had no interest in the NBA because of a suspicious call during the playoffs 20+ years ago. I was going to give the WNBA a chance because of Clark. I see now that the WNBA is no different today than the NBA was back then. Questionable calls and no calls, no thank you. I'm going to go watch my grass grow. At least there is truth and justice.
There is one thing that is missing in every video of WNBA that I’ve watched, and not all are on Caitlin Clark . What I see is a major decline in the integrity of the sport due to the lack of quality coaching. The flagrantly of consistency fouls is due no accountability. And the referee allowed light action.
