In the video I'll cover 4 methods of breaking-in the secured areas Music - Cuphead's OST Porkrind's Shop - 0:00 - 2:10 Dramatic Fanatic - 2:11 - 3:03 Composer : Kristofer Maddigan
Cut power from the substation, will shoot an entire departments power and not so easy to fix, needs insuls if you plan on snipping the hvs, but mvs work too. You can also reroute disposals for more longwinded or risky tasks. I love using the last emag trick, should be its default functionality imo
the downside of the first method can often be counteracted by practice with other doors, and is made even quicker cause you know hwat is what. Also forgot the emag a borg forced entry, where, you emag aborg and have it open doors for you
The focus is on doors, albiet you could deconstruct and rebuild a wall (especially if it's only a basic one) Pros: Tools not too hard to find, Theoretically no evidence left behind if you rebuild it, no one really expects it Cons: Somewhat loud, not as fast on reinforced walls, you're literally breaking down a wall
The majority of walls guarding stuff you want are harder to get through, but usually you can hide in maintenance and get more time to cut away at the wall, just remember to protect your eyes.
Speaking of walls, now that secret doors are in the game you can do some shenanigans. Hopefully they make the recipe better in SS14 but I remember in SS13 it was pretty easy to remove the steel off a wall and turn it into a secret door to whatever department you wanted to enter.
@@DrEnzyme People forget on /tg/ the power of teleporters. There is one where you can transmit yourself into an area and if you do some special coding with the transciever you can have it send you back. Just remember where you teleported in at. edit - Nah SS14 probably doesn't have them yet
get agent ID and thief gloves, steal a persons PDA with the associated department and copy it (preferrably one that's critted in medbay), return it so they dont notice anything, then come back and just walk in
Ye forgot that if the room that ye want to break in to has a trasch can inside, ye can redirect the pipes form another trasch can so that the trasch can out side flushes ye to the trasch can inside, this also works both ways so ye got an eaysy escape route
jaws of life, cutting the wires leading to the APC, deconstructing walls, stealing access somehow, re-routing disposals, glitching through by moving really fast while inside of a locker or crate (pretty much only doable with a force gun), brute force

Totally forgot about substations. Thanks for reminding! Will add in the next video.
Never understood why the emag has to bolt the door open, like as a nukie that is great, as a traitor or thief that's a major liability.
@andrewgreeb916 Apparently, if emag didn't bolt the door, it'd be way too powerful for trators and much harder for security to find syndicates.

You can also build trash pipes leading into a trash can inside the room you want to break in
yeah i was expecting the sewer rat method for sure

Thank you! I'll make sure to add this method in the next video.

my personal favorite method of opening doors are explosives
get agent ID and thief gloves, steal a persons PDA with the associated department and copy it (preferrably one that's critted in medbay), return it so they dont notice anything, then come back and just walk in
fuck me thats so smart

Warning: you might get banned for the glitch one
Rcd?
Wow I didn't expect the last one. Pretty interesting to know!
Enrico, himself! My pleasure!
Sadly, most OP method of opening doors for nerfed:(
Jaws of life
jaws of life are a bit slow for my taste, they also let the door close behind you...
