Sir, Is there any possibility to add any increase in the pension of retired pensioners. Please let the authorities remind know it was accustom to grant the increase in pay and pension alike. In 2023, the authorities approved increase in pay (35%) and increase in pensions (15%). This was unjust since the pensioners suffered more with price hikes. This year again the Govt. Increased pay by 25% in salaried staff whereas the pensioners have been give an increase of 15% only. No need to emphasize that the prices hike in 2024 was more than 40%. With budget of 24-25, the rate of inflation may even be higher than’23.
