This was my son's favourite piece to play on the bag pipe when he started his bag pipe lessons. When he was a small boy he used to love pipe organ - he was just so talented. He lost his life in a fire in Edinburgh on 31 January 2011. Every time I listen to this piece I cry just thinking of him but I know that I will be reunited with him one day. Thanks to God!!
album it is on is Musica Variata and it is my absolute favorite version of Highland Cathedral. Originally heard on classic FM and called the station to find out who recorded it. Have been searching for this for years as I lent my cd to someone who lost it. Finally found a used copy on Amazon.
Een geweldige vertolking van een van mijn vrienden op Face Book sinds twee jaar , ik beluister t minstens een keer per maand ! Conghratulations Ockie !

Solemn and Majestic w/ processional or recessional cadence: great in cathedrals and wedding or funeral marches.

Where can I get the full score to this arrangement.... especially the flute and organ parts, it's beautiful!
Beautiful, especially because organ dominates bagpipes
Organo organista bello

Dutch Reformed Church Universiteitsoord in Pretoria - it was done by South African Organ Builders
Hört sich zwar ganz nett an, aber es geht nichts über Drums und Pipes
