The Bible has many contradictions... God even told the house of Jacob to massacre the Canaanites, including women and children, and take over a land that they didn't sow... But thou shall not kill?? You have to have a personal relationship with God to understand the path he has laid out for you
Going to war against evil is different than killing your brother over something petty. When Jesus comes back hes going to destroy evil (Satan, men, women, children etc) for good.
@@jayharris3797 Just like with the Flood it had to be done. The Canaanites were an evil, degenerate people. God gave them chances to change and they didnt. Those kids grew up and turned into worse versions of their parents and never repented so God took them out. God gave us freewill but there are times he has intervened because the hearts of men were so disgusting that he couldnt let them continue. He used the Israelites to bring the judgment just like how he used the Babylonians to bring judgment on the Israelites when they weren't obedient. It will be the same when Jesus comes. Sin will be destroyed fully.
