This game was something words can't express, from beginning to end. Before even hitting the start button, I just sat and listened. Before I knew it I heard this song again, and the game was over, and had come full circle.
When I play other games like Halo, Fallout, etc. I can't wait till I'm done with the story and can move on to the next game but every now and again I find a game with art so beautiful, music so touching, and characters that I can't help but love to play as or along side with. This is one of those games I may enjoy playing those other games but when I finished playing Ori I wanted nothing more than for the story to keep going. I wanted to hear more of the music, see more of the art,and keep playing as Ori. What I'm saying is I love this game and only ever spoken so highly about two other games. Moon Studios has done a wonderful job and I hope they keep it up.

A tale of a creature if light, born early and orphaned. Adopted by a mother who didn't have to, and lead to a devastating demise. An amazing adventure and an emotional resurrection. One thing leads to another, and one mothers emotions connect with another, causing the antagonist to sacrifice themselves to a world they didn't care about, just because she knew what she did was wrong. Great. Story. I can't wait for what the DE had to offer.

Thats so true, Battle royales are no match for these masterpiece games like Ori, witcher, HZD, Life is strange. My cousin literally wanted PUBG so bad when his parents asked me which game to buy for him and I referred Ori and blind forest
@Ryan Crepeau I feel that man. Any amount of words fall short to describe how beautiful this game is. I played it for 2nd time last week, music still gave me chills even though I listened to its soundtracks so many times while studying
I at least still play both. This game in particular I could barely get past the title screen, i couldnt even get past the intro when i knew what i was going on. This game got me to cry quicker than Heavy Rain
One of the greatest video games I've had the pleasure of playing. Been gaming for over 20 years, no video game has ever made me cry, but Ori and the Blind Forest made me tear up 15 minutes into the game. Gorgeous visuals, amazing soundtrack, beautiful story, and great platforming/puzzle solving gameplay. I loved every minute I spent with this game.
That game touched my heart like nothing before. I cryed at the sad moments and was really happy at the beutiful and heart warming moments (Like at the end of the game) This is the first game in my entire life, that I've played more then once, to see everything of this world. If you start to cry at this song: Cry! There is no shame to show your emotions. This game shows you so much, that let you feel sad or great. I start to smile at the first moment, I start the game. This game was and will always be in my heart.
This game talks about grief in such a beautiful way. It doesnt matter who you lost in your life... A friend... A parent... A child... A familly... A community you belonged to... If you ever lost someone close to you , this game is going to find that one grief within you and everything is going to resurface and you wont even be mad. In fact youll love the game even more for being able to it in such a peaceful way.
You ever finish a game and then just chill at the menu screen taking it all in? Well Ori is the rare series where they cater to even that part of your journey.
I actually just played the demo blind ( heh ). I didn't know what to expect. And then I played the beginning... That hurt. This game has such a touching story that your heart strings will be soar the next day.

Perhaps you should consider purchasing an Xbox One. It's gone down in price by $150! The game is incredibly smooth on it as well - that's where I played it.
+jokiu4 - You can download the track for free from my Soundcloud :)
Gareth Coker Thank you Thank you! The music has meant so much to me and I love playing this game with my daughter... even when she rages at the escape scenes. :)
Man, this game is just like Journey to me... The visuals the gameplay and the music alltogether creates such an extraordinary universe... Cannot handle it
M Cs it has this... childhood magic. like Spirited Away
This is so beautiful, giving me chills while listening. I need to play this game.
Getting a tattoo of Ori and Stitch together one day. Those two have such a special place in my heart
I cannot listen to this without cry. This is a masterpiece. Truly amazaing, touches the heart like a real history.
This game was something words can't express, from beginning to end. Before even hitting the start button, I just sat and listened. Before I knew it I heard this song again, and the game was over, and had come full circle.
Pov: you'r just vibing in the menu so you can hear this
When I play other games like Halo, Fallout, etc. Moon Studios has done a wonderful job and I hope they keep it up.
what are the 2 other games you can rate just as good as ori and the blind forrest :O
You dont deserve Halo.
St3v3z Don’t get me wrong, l love Halo (except 4 and 5) but this game meant more to me.
Also kindly f off, telling me I don’t deserve Halo. Everyone deserves a great game like Halo.
@@spectralassassin6030 If you cant wait to get the story over and done with so you can play a different game - you dont deserve Halo. Master Chief spits on you.
@@St3v3z Looks like we got a hard core Halo fan. Listen here. I have been a fan of Halo since it released. I have been with the franchise through thick and thin and I even have all the original game discs. Don't you dare tell me for a dam second I don't deserve Halo. I have a right to love other games too. Now git.
that female humming is one of the best tunes I've ever heard
This and second one is a masterpiece that we all gonna remember till the end of our journeys.
It's one of these gems that just have a special place in heart and can't be forgotten, and give you warm when you think about it.
I think Ori and the Blind Forest & Journey would make very good friends
I know I’m late but I think Hollow Knight would make more sense to me if they have a cross over
Oh YES! ^^

The feels hit me too hard when I played.
I know this comment is old af but I recently played this for the first time and had to take a break after the prologue because I wasn’t sure what to expect out of this game but I definitely wasn’t expecting my feelings to be assaulted. What a truly beautiful game this was, I’m glad I got to it and disappointed I put it off for so long. Better late than never I guess. Time for Will of the Wisp
@@jacobwhelan45 it is a great game
@@playstation_one5446 funny you commented this yesterday of all times, I just finally started Will of the Wisp yesterday. So far it is also great but it sort of lacks something that blind forest had but I can’t put my finger on it. Still great though
@@jacobwhelan45 ok
I don't have words to express the beauty of this track/video. An amazing piece that touches you in many ways you can't explain.
I really find the music theme, microsoft and moon studio's animation perfectly blend.
Im fucking crying omg, this is game is so perfect and the soundtrack is just awesome.
This could be easily one of the most emotional parts in a videogame ever I think
@@Sonicili Wow deutsche kommentare^^
A tale of a creature if light, born early and orphaned. Adopted by a mother who didn't have to, and lead to a devastating demise. An amazing adventure and an emotional resurrection. One thing leads to another, and one mothers emotions connect with another, causing the antagonist to sacrifice themselves to a world they didn't care about, just because she knew what she did was wrong.
Great.
Story.
I can't wait for what the DE had to offer.
Lie down, Try not to cry, Cry a lot
this made me cry... :c
This song made everyone cry even me.
If you guys haven't seen "Last Minutes With Oden" yet, I suggest you do. Only 6 minutes but it will change the way you see other people. *Warning* it is a complete cryfest. This was honestly the most appropriate place I could find to spread the word about this wonderful video, just because this story makes me cry as well.

How can I convince my parents Game development is a good job when good games with good music aren't getting attention.
Hate how now people only like to play battle royale and ignoring such beautiful games completely.
Thats so true, Battle royales are no match for these masterpiece games like Ori, witcher, HZD, Life is strange. My cousin literally wanted PUBG so bad when his parents asked me which game to buy for him and I referred Ori and blind forest
Oh and I nearly forgot Nier Automata, and Assassin's creed frenchise(at least some of them)
@@zenvir1680 Yes also Prince of Persia.
Hala burdayım kalbimdesin ori
One of the greatest video games I've had the pleasure of playing. Been gaming for over 20 years, no video game has ever made me cry, but Ori and the Blind Forest made me tear up 15 minutes into the game. Gorgeous visuals, amazing soundtrack, beautiful story, and great platforming/puzzle solving gameplay. I loved every minute I spent with this game.
That game touched my heart like nothing before.
I cryed at the sad moments and was really happy at the beutiful and heart warming moments (Like at the end of the game)
This is the first game in my entire life, that I've played more then once, to see everything of this world.
If you start to cry at this song: Cry! There is no shame to show your emotions. This game shows you so much, that let you feel sad or great.
I start to smile at the first moment, I start the game. This game was and will always be in my heart.
I never played this game but the feels man.... It’s so emotional...
2019
Still here
Still crying

Moon studio: want to cry again?
This game talks about grief in such a beautiful way.
It doesnt matter who you lost in your life...
A friend...
A parent...
A child...
A familly...
A community you belonged to...
If you ever lost someone close to you , this game is going to find that one grief within you and everything is going to resurface and you wont even be mad. In fact youll love the game even more for being able to it in such a peaceful way.
The minute I play this game for the first time I was like “Why is the main menu trying to make me cry”
Then I play the game and I was like “Oh”
9 years later and i still play this game with love
finally this was the theme song I was looking for thankyou for the upload.
I have never cried over a game before. This damn thing is so emotionally driven it’s almost painful.
1:35 - 5:00 broke my god damn heart the first time I played this game. Even now it's getting me teary-eyed :(
I'm a 33-year-old man who watches even the most gory horror movies without even cringing the tiniest bit. But this game and especially this tune always, and I mean ALWAYS, brings a tear to my eye! The whole game is an amazing piece of art!
this game is such great work of art. the art style is stunning (dust, odin's sphere and ori for best art in gaming) music is breath taking
anyone got suggestions for games like this on steam
You could try Child of Light, which features beautifully drawn graphics and a wonderful soundtrack, as well as To The Moon, which - despite being "RPG Maker" style - has a wonderful, highly emotional story and an equally emotional soundtrack to go with it. :)
+ArdiMaster thanks will look into them
try Trine :)
+Icey lol, how could I forget Trine? I played it myself :D thanks for pointing it out
+Icey have it actually all three .... if I remember correctly..... never played them as I got them Tuesday and sinc then I've had 2 12hr day shifts then a 12 hr night shift that wasnt supposed to happen and the I worked 3 sat to Mon 12 hr then got a call to work Tues and wedsenday ( today) then I work Thurs and Fri 12 hr ...... so needless to say, time to game ISN'T on my side as time to do things is limited to practically nothing
it was my cousin Simone's favorite adventure video game! He played it until the end! we were about to restart it together, it's so beautiful and engaging, but then, on Tuesday 15 February 2022 Simone had a cerebral hemorrhage and immediately went to heaven, his body remained biologically active until Thursday 17 February 2022 and then he passed away , and the heart stopped beating, at his funeral on Saturday 19 February 2022 we sang and played Celtic music and Ori's music, now Simone lives in the blind forest, goodbye Simone, friend and teacher, like Sir Aaron for Lucario (he loved it very much pokemon) and like the gorilla who rescues Ori, goodbye, we will meet again in the blind forest
I just started this game, but I can already tell it's something special...
I was in tears in the prologue, couldn't bring myself to play the game first time.❤️
Every single time I launch this game, I can't even get past the main menu screen for several minutes because of the music being way beyond beautiful. :')
I will be always remebering this game with tears on my face...
I've been listening to this for nearly three hours as I do other stuff .I could listen to this all night
One game I can get lost in forget about everything the music great as is the story and visuals
