love this video Laura, thx for sharing. I moved out of London 9 months ago (after living in south london for 9 years like you). I currently live on a boat just outside of London so I'm close to nature and to London but recently I've had the itch to research what it's like to live in Bali ... I created my youtube channel a few months ago and I'm building it in the aim of being completely remote, although like you, the idea of being in London 4 months and in Bali (or somewhere else) definitely appeals ... I do think I'm starting to create a vision of the twists in life that I'm seeking and your video has been inspirational ... Thank you so much and im so happy you have started to find your feet and thrive in Bali. Love xo
Thank you for being so candid with us Laura, you make me feel like I can do that one day. I'm nearly 30 and haven't left my home town much, I would love to see the rest of the world but am scared of being alone and failing. Your channel has been a treasure trove of good feels
Bali is such a special place to be in. Eventhough i live in SEA, in Brunei, i'd go back to Bali at least once or twice a year. Despite the negative comments about the over tourism and massive crowds, Bali is still Bali, the island of gods, it heals you and makes you happy.

How do you make a living as a photographer in Bali? I've always been curious since the culture is different there, and people are not that interested in portraits, or photos.
I resided in 11 nations, traveled to 34 countries, and ended up moving to Valencia, Spain. I predict that you will eventually leave Bali, try another place, and end up back in Spain.
The big cities are full of stress with very little access to peaceful nature. Too fast paced to work that we forget to live. A slow paced lifestyle is the best
Yes. I live in Berlin, germany and i think the overpopulation and the expectations at work and also the long working hours of at least 38 hours per week makes people go crazy/mentally ill. All of this is not normal and far away from human nature.
I totally agree with this. London was great for a few years to develop my career, but the last few years were already too much. To end up reaching burn out. 😓
I’ve been in Berlin a few times, love it! But it’s also a big city where the priority is to work and pay bills. Unfortunately, most of the big cities are this way. Some people are fine with it all their lives. I personally ended up so tired and burnt out. Reason why I moved to Bali and it has changed my nervous system for the better! Stress is not a joke… The root of many illnesses. We have to take care of ourselves. ✨❤️
