    ***ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
I wanted to share a video about this 1967 International Harvester 424 farm tractor. I know there are many farm equipment enthusiasts out there that will enjoy seeing this tractor in the same condition it basically was in 1967.
Except for a few blemishes and wear and tear this old IH 424 is in original condition.

I’m hoping you’ll have a speedy recovery Woody! Best wishes and good health!
That sure is a beautiful tractor… Something that you can actually fix or maintain… Unlike the new ones… Great video

"My" first tractor! Dad purchased it about 1964. All the wheel weights fore and aft with cast weights on frame above front tires, brush guard with suitcase weights, ballasted rear tires and a very heavy duty brush hog. We cleared our 24 acres of brush and it did great! Beware! It will run away from you on down slopes, that is one reason I traded for a 4WD tractor in 1983. You probably discovered already that the rear wheel rust is cancer from brine ballast.

My grandpa had a 67 424 gas! I loved it except the brakes were horrible! I had to stand on the pedal to try to slow down coming down through the field. It had a Farmhand front loader on it, small bucket with the cable and latch bucket release, I disliked that too bc it would trip under too much pressure.

This is a well built tractor. I have a 1962 model and they sell for about $4,000 in Texas.

I don't know much about tractors so I couldn't tell you whether a Ford tractor is good or not. I would be they are.

Is this a 424? Just Obtained my grandpa’s old international. It’s been sitting for 10 years but has been kept inside. Went to crank it yesterday for the first time and it would only rollover with either. Didn’t want to chance anything so haven’t gone further. Possible carburetor? Any opinion would be greatly appreciated.
