@@epicexpert06 Well yeah I can totally see that, but I would say it’s the 2nd biggest. I still think MFK leaving had a worse impact, because in that case, MFK did not just leave the community, he completely deleted all of his videos

Here's a better, overall explanation: People are losing interest into ABE cause they might have found better RPGs, like me. I found block tales. Going back to the topic, The only hope for this community is gottaaim's mod. If that fails, it's joeover jfor the community.

Honestly, I think the Island Expansion mod will somewhat revive this game. The amount of content there will be insane, but it might take some time when it will be released.
The fact my entire progress can just get wiped from one small mistake is horrifying. I'm halfway through cave 27, been playing ABE All-Stars for about 40 days and i don't know how to save my progress to save myself from losing all I have so far . And im still really enjoying myself with AB overall too, despite the fact that AB 2 is really the only game out of the whole franchise to receive updates ..
@jankorusiewicz2690 I mean yeah progress loss wasn't an issue until we started to mess too much with the glitches, but at the end of the day, I managed to go over a year on my glitchless playthrough without losing my progress so it's definitely not impossible to avoid
Maybe you could try Angry birds evolution?? 2:38 I havent left but rather im trying to branch out. It is good that we are starting to realise that this community is dead. 😔😔

Could you start from the beginning and try to sppedrun the game to any cave you want and then start making videos? Since it's Christmas and schools are over, you can play for many hours a day and reach cave 20 in 5 days just like me. Also, your channel doesn't have to have vary, since you are an angry birds epic UA-camr, you should continue like this.

If you have access to your savefile (aka root perms) you can fix this, otherwise you're probably screwed. Only other thing I could think of is trying to find the savefile on Rovio servers. Which is probably impossible because All Stars has the matchmaking disabled to prevent softlocking vanilla players in the arena.
About ABE community dying: yeah ABE community is slowly dying again. People lost their interest and even I quit making videos recently. Let's hope ABE community will revive again when 3.0.1 version's decomp gets released (so people can make mods without technical limitations). We shall see what is going to happen but game itself is repetitive so it's hard to revive the community again. If I somehow see a chance to revive community again, I will immediately try my best to revive the community (like i can start to make videos again, not many people cares about me anyways but I would still try my best to help this community). I totally understand you and as I said before, let's hope for this community to get revived again. About the cutscene bug: I lost my progress once because of this bug, sorry for your loss... but if i remember correctly drip solved that bug in the recent version, didn't he?
@@sagiky Well apparently he missed that cutscene... Well yeah I think the decomp would be a big step up for modding, but even then, as I said in this video, I still think modding, even if deep-rooted, will hardly reach anyone out of the community, so sadly I doubt it revives the game
@abefan4424 no what the hell he literally released an update just to fix this bug, weird... and well we just need to find a way to not make Abe videos repetitive (which is almost impossible), and something will surely happen (a random Abe video will go viral).
Your content is really enjoyable when playing ABE. Why don't you showcase stuff like events or world bosses since a lot of current players can't play them and might bring back old fans from nostalgia.
Uh i got softlocked in 3.3.8 with an event pop up and i couldnt claim it the only way i could open the game was the no wifi strat but if i put wifi on i still couldnt play events
@Knarfpog It's not the same problem as me though, in my case, I just cannot play the game at all, it is just stuck on that sword image until the end of time

What version were you on when the softlock occurred?
