Note that the little switch says passive because that's what it will set it to if you click on it. (The Stationeers UI is really weird like that.) Mousing over the middle of that transmitter gives a tooltip saying "Active as Transmitter Test." That's an active transmitter, sending out data. The passive ones are receivers.
Hi and thanks for the comment. That function wasn't something I thought of, I was mainly trying to show some things of where a transmitter could help in a normal base setup
Time left is the most useful parameter from weather station as you can transmit to your suit minutes left until storm using sound alerts, incoming storm alerts are a lot more useful while mining than being safe inside your station :)
Hi Thanks for the comment. No you have a unlimited range on the connection between your transmitter. That is atleast what I know and I have been able o located any info regarding it
Thanks for this tutorial, Osarus 🍻 - The transmitter has to be the most awkward device to use in Stationeers 🤣
Very good, clear instructions.
Thanks alot :)
True that the transmitter is a very awkward but also less used that what it should be, there is so many features that it can help with

I thought you might have mentioned the ability to read from a tablet with a transmitter. That's a big benefit.
