This is a very good comparison! I was really waiting for a direct comparison between these 2 so really thanks for this! I will buy the Honor 200 pro. I used a Xiaomi for the last 6 years and I was very happy with it, but I want to try something new and the Honor is cheaper :)
@@cl3088 For me? I used xiaomi for 4-5 yrs and now I'm using the honor 200 pro and I'm loving the experience versus Xiaomi. Camera was better, system was way better m
@@cl3088I received my Honor on Monday, so not a lot of time for a good opinion. So far I love the phone! Excellent performance for me, good battery life and really good camera! I also use an iPhone 13 as my work phone and I like the Honor 200 pro a lot better!
What I noticed so easily with my 14T Pro is that: the pixel noise reduction is very aggressive, but sometimes I notice it's really not bad; the photo usually still looks natural. I usually feel aggressive pixel noise reduction making the photo ugly, but they seemed to nail it and make it still look rather natural. Because of that also, the photo doesn't really look very much like phone picture, because it's usually so clean. (Though my elderly parents' face sometimes becoming rather smooth because of the noise reduction, maybe the camera thought the wrinkles are noises and smoothened it out as well). I really like 14T Pro camera result; it doesn't really oversharpen, and most of the time it looks rather natural and doesn't look like a phone picture (I used Samsung and the processing is atrocious, oversharpening halos makes photos looks so fake pretty often, especially when it's not outdoor at the noon bright. iPhone is a little bit better, but still noticeably oversharpened sometimes). But the problem with 14T pro as of right now, is the photo is not the most consistent on auto, definitely not the most point-and-shoot ready. But the manual controls and even 50MP raw DNG mode is godsend, it's awesome!!!!!! It's the most expensive phone I have in my life yet, but I really love it so far. I can compromise with the sometimes inconsistent camera, and/or the phone warming up when playing intensive games with a case on. Really pleasant phone and camera to use. Battery life is more or less a little better than my Samsung, and 120W charging is so quick and doesn't heat up the phone (less warm than playing intensive games). 20-30mins of charging from 1% is just *chef kiss*, very reliable when traveling and stopping by for toilet break or something. I don't think I can go back on Samsung 15W/25W when travelling/visiting places.
That was close. I don't take pictures at night in really low light, so Honor is the one for me. Thanks for the video. I was waiting for it. And subscribed 😊
I chose betweem this two phone and I end up buying Honor 200 Pro, so far I really have a great experience with its camera, and it is really capable to shot photos and videos ready to upload in socials. The 4K 60fps stabilization of its rear cam is a top notch, and without using the beautification you can also shot 4k resokution using the frontcam and 1080p when activating the beautification. overall the camera of Honor200Pro is really really great!
For a casual user, I would prefer Honor 200 Pro. I like it how they processed it like inatagram and social media ready. While 14T Pro may be for advanced user that lovea to edit their photos first.
Interesting. I've used Xiaomi phones since i switched to android years ago & never had issues but I'm very tempted by the 200 pro. No phone is perfect but it gets a lot right 👍
I like the natural look, sharpness, and details on Xiaomi 14T Pro, also it is better in low light scenarios. However, I like Honor 200 Pro better for the enhanced colors. For me it is not oversaturated. Thanks man for making this comparison. Cheers!
Only a photograph eye really understands who win.. People don’t understand that the more vivid colors don’t make a better picture. You can see that the honor photos are much more post-processed and less realistic. Xiaomi with Laica has done something really good
that is what most people want in a smartphone camera, post-processed photo..they don't bother to edit. If you follow MKBHD's blind smartphone camera test every year, vivid photo almost always wins
He mentioned in another comment he was using the Vibrant mode, but I doubt it because all the photos look darker and with duller colors, which is exactly how the Authentic mode looks like. The 14T Pro already looks better than the Vivo in all the examples I saw here (way too much boosted processing in Vivo, which look like a mess when zoomed in), but the Vibrant mode would make Xiaomi's photos look even better!
Thanks for the review. Your night shooting definitely is useful.Xiaomi's Leica lens doesn't seem to have the edge over Honor's, however Xiaomi night preview is really helpful.
I like more photos from Xiaomi- it´s produce more natural photos. You can also see, that both are not 100% reliable - sometimes is better one, sometimes the another one in same type of photography.
Awesome comparison man. Keep the hard work out . U deserve much better hope u reach the 100k soon. Btw i love leica color science in xiaomi 14t pro but certainly honor 200 pro is a beast when it comes to camera
Awesome comparisons! I've been checking your videos for a couple of weeks now and you've helped me narrow my search for a new phone. I love the design of the Nothing 2a plus and I was about to get it but people say its cameras are very inconsistent. After your review, the Honor 200 got my attention, and in your comparison I liked it better than the Xiaomi 14t. It is only natural that I thought the Honor200 Pro was better (or a *lot* better than the regular one) so that was beginning to be my choice of phone to get. I didn´t expect a comparison between the 14t pro and the 200 pro on your channel (not at this time, anyway) and I have to say, I liked a bit better the xiaomi on day shots for the colour representation. In your experience, since you've tried both recently, which one is a better buy or "bang for buck"? The regular Honor 200 or the 200 Pro? I would expect the Pro one offers a better experience since its faster in all of its specs, but which one would you say is the more balanced/well rounded option for the amount you spend on it? Thanks in advance. I really like your videos and reviewing style so you got a new subscriber here. Cheers from Mexico, mate!

Did you maybe try out an external mic attached to the 14T Pro? I wonder if Xiaomi fixed their overprocessing/wind/noise filter when external mics are attached. This makes it almost impossible to ise the Xiaomi devices for content creation if you want good audio.
9:26 I think you forgot to disable the adaptive lense option in the settings; it's enabled on default, and will prevent the use of tele lense if it senses the scene is dark/unoptimal.
Hi Dariusz, are you using the latest MagicOS version on your 200 pro taking those amazing videos and photos? I've heard that the selfie cam of 200 pro became bad after the update with AI eraser (not sure) so I'm not updating mine out of the box. Your answer will help me so much. 🤞
i think you should tell about xiaomi 14t pro camera whether you're using leica vibrant or authentic. I'm using vibrant for pop up the color and authentic mode for landscape which gave me the dramatic mood
Wow, such an interesting comparison. As expected both these phones process photos and videos very differently. I am pleasantly surprised by the Xiaomi I must say. Its photos can sometimes look very contrasty 6:37 , sometimes dull 7:14 , but often times seem more natural or close to reality. Honor's photos are good for social media posting, the colours are boosted (sky, grass etc 2:47), but too much imo. Sometimes I doubt if it really looks like that irl. But of course only Dariusz would know which produces closer-to-reality pictures 😂 Something I dislike about Honor is that when zoomed, the photos sometimes have that oil painting look lacking sharpness 4:39 . As for night time video, Xiaomi totally kills it, making the Honor look like some budget phone 8:12 🤣🙈. On the Honor, night time video often appear grainy too 9:5710:12 . Also Honor did terribly at 10:53 . At 12:27 it seems like Xiaomi's night mode didn't kick in properly 😂and finally if someone loves capturing moon photos, Honor is not gonna disappoint.
in my country, 14t pro is about 200$USD more expensive than Honor 200 Pro, landslide win for Honor for value and hairline differences between 2, despite of huge price diff.
@DariuszTech I suppose you used Leica Authentic shooting mode (as opposed to the Vibrant mode) in the Xiaomi 14T Pro? I got the 14T Pro the other day and after some experimenting with both modes and comparing the photos to a few other phones I have, I noticed that the Authentic mode (which is propagated by all UA-camrs) is actually LESS realistic than the Leica Vibrant mode! The Authentic mode not just produces muted duller colors than in real life, but it also darkens the scenes, which can be clearly seen in all the photos and videos in this video. The Leica Authentic mode makes it look like the phone performs less good in dark situations, as if it doesn't have enough light. This is totally not the case in the Leica Vibrant mode, which produces more realisitc and more light photos (not overblown like the Vivo in this video, but just nicely balanced). I think if you used the Leica Vibrant mode the Xiaomi 14T Pro would look even better!
I am surprised by the front cam video of the 14T at night. That looked pretty good. Otherwise the Honor 200 Pro is winning for me. Not sure what HansTechTalk was smoking when it declared the 14T Pro winning against the Vivo X100 Ultra. But this looks like more of a competitor for the Honor 200 Pro and not even winning against it. Btw. which colour profile did you choose on Xiami? Vibrant or Authentic?
Really? I thought the 14T Pro was clearly better in all examples! I would totally agree with the TechTalk video... I'll even explain why - Vivo photos and videos seem exremely processed and artificially boosted, to APPEAR they are better. But as soon as you zoom in and look at the details you can see all the photos and videos fall apart, they're just a boosted mess. I don't know the Vivo camera lens specs, but it looks like the sensor isn't very large and they compensate with extra post processing. I know that 14T Pro has a 1/1.31 inch sensor, which is pretty large, which enables it to naturally pick up more details and light. @DariuszTech Are you really surre you used the Leica Vibrant mode? I got the 14T myself and was experimenting with the modes and comparing the photos to a few other phones I own, and the Authentic mode colors look duller, less realisitic than the Vibrant mode. Additionally, all the photos and videos shot in Authentic mode are darker, especially in darker areas, which makes it look the lens doesn't have enought light. But in the Vibrant mode there is much more light and the shadier and darker areas are well lit. Quite a few Xiaomi photos in this video look darker than they normally would, which doesn't normally look when using the Vibrant mode, but totally does when using the Authentic mode.
I am not picky when it comes to camera with both of this phones but if I will choose only one, I will pick Honor 200 pro. There is something special and I love about the photo quality of honor 200 pro. Both of this phones are like flagship level even they have affordable price.
For me Honor most details and color profil can changed to natural or vivid... Better selfie video, better night photos and better zoom to 15x, and better stability video. Portret neck and neck, only color different.
i like the Sharp photos on Xiaomi but i hate the color science of it, but Xiaomi 14t pro impressed me in some scenarios. But for the price in Germany i can easy go for Honor, while Xiaomi is very expensive in Germany 800 Eur baaaah, so much, Honor just 530 official website.

Honor 200 pro has better portrait photos. Xiaomi needs to fix it's color balance
I am not picky when it comes to camera with both of this phones but if I will choose only one, I will pick Honor 200 pro. There is something special and I love about the photo quality of honor 200 pro. Both of this phones are like flagship level even they have affordable price.
It's a very hard choice
Xiaomi 14t Pro overall has a better camera system and better results in photos and videos

Pro = Heisenberg
200 Pro = A welcoming guy
Hello! Honor 200 (not pro) or xiaomi 14t pro? Which has better Photo? Which better video? And finally, which has better battery life?
Can you compare bitwean honor 200 and honor 200 pro please
Soon
Great comparison.. the h200pro really slaps the 14t pro..
PHONES ARE VERY CLOSE BUT IF I HAVE TO PICK XIAOMI HAS PORTRAIT ADVANTAGE HONOR IS BETTER WITH ZOOM
True
For me Honor most details and color profil can changed to natural or vivid... Better selfie video, better night photos and better zoom to 15x, and better stability video. Portret neck and neck, only color different.
Nice comparison..
Glad you liked it
@@DariuszTech super like❤️
Just wondering, is the preview feature for the Xiaomi 14T Pro that you've mentioned on 12:46 also available on the Xiaomi 14T?
Unfortunately this is not possible on Xiaomi
Hi pls suggest best camera, display and performance phone.
1 Honor 200

3 Samsung A 55
4 Xiaomi CIVI 14
5 Pixel 8A

i like the Sharp photos on Xiaomi but i hate the color science of it,
but Xiaomi 14t pro impressed me in some scenarios.
But for the price in Germany i can easy go for Honor, while Xiaomi is very expensive in Germany 800 Eur baaaah, so much,
Honor just 530 official website.
Crazy price difference
