I just love and appreciate Juwoo so much. A few years back when I was a teenager, I used to have a body exactly like hers. I was often bodyshamed by my asian side of community while my western friends always praised my body. Needless to say, I did not appreciate my hody at the time at all, I dreaded it. I was always offended when ppl praised my body and thought to myself they must have low standard or lied to me. I tried hard to lose weight and fit the asian beauty standard. However, I kept failing attempts after attempts. I was bulimia and now I am officially overweight and it would take me a lot of effort to turn my body back like Jiwoo’s. I’m crying over my body every time and it’s been really hard to look at the mirror. Jiwoo has now become my inspiration to become healthy again and love my body.
