I'm natural but i love watching women who are able to relax their hair and keep it healthy.
I love that! Thanks for watching 💜
Same,I think back to my relaxing days, middle/ high school. I never deep conditioned or protective anything. God’s grace is thee only reason I still have any hair at all🤣
I found it interesting that your stylist started with the front of your hair, my former stylist always started at the nape. The Affirm system is the only way to go. I have access to the entire system so I do my own hair. So much easier on the wallet doing it at home. I am 95% early silver so I have one extra step to after I’ve neutralized my hair. That step involves getting rid of the yellow that occurs during the relaxer process. It is here that I switch product lines and use Matrix Color Obsessed shampoo and conditioner. This works quite well at returning my silver to its white, bright glory. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Thank you for posting this. It has also been 8 yrs since my last relaxer, and I've decided to go back to the creamy crack. Im a little nervous, but seeing your results makes me feel better.
Thanks for watching, I’m so glad it helped! Welcome back to the relaxed life 💜💁🏾♀️

I agree. I've been using it for about 14-15 years now. I still didn't find a better one to replace it.
I've been using affirm relaxer over 10years now...its gentle and it straightens your hair well...stick with it
We are from the same ''tribe'' Lol. 14-15 years since I started with Affirm and never looked back.
I have been using Affirm since 2004 and I do not think I will ever change it! It produces the greatest results. I would stick with it because it will make your hair grow so long. I also use Affirm 5 in 1 reconstructor as a protein conditioner once a month. Amazing!
I've been using since 2005 and never found a better relaxer. The only thing is, after so many years technology should advance and bring us even better solutions but I haven't seen any...
BEAUTIFUL!!! I need that stylist! I love your hairline also. It is so cute. Thanks for sharing. I haven't been to a salon in over 15 years...
The results are very beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!! x
thank you for these videos I am so glad I found you!!! I can not wait to get back to healthy relaxed hair!!! 😀😉
your hair looks awesome!!! 😍😍😍
Thanks for watching! xx
Love it, I use the same relaxer.
Maybe your problem with self relaxing was that the ORS stop working for you so you would be underprocessed. A lot of people say ORS leave them underprocessed.
I hadn't considered that 🤔 My stylist thinks its to do with stretching my relaxers and the fact that my roots process faster than the rest of my new growth. I guess I'll see if I decide to self- relax again!

I am so happy that you had a much better salon experience that me. Your hair turned out super great I love the texture the shine and the body of your hair, It looks very healthy. I have to try harder to grow mine. great video. 👍
Thank you! I can’t wait to retain some length during this relaxer stretch x
Gorgeous! She did a wonderful job. 💜💕💜💕
I enjoyed your video. I personally love Affirm relaxer. Would also love to see you review an Olaplex treatment. Thanks for sharing your journey!
Thanks for watching! I'll have to do my research on the Olaplex treatment, have you tried it before?
Healthy Hair Junkie, I currently use it on my natural hair. It has a patented ingredient that rebuilds the disulfide bonds that are broken from chemical, thermal, and mechanical damage and definitely strengthens the hair.
So your hair journey is pretty much similar to what I am currently facing. I appreciate your videos because it is giving me confidence to go back to a salon for my next relaxer to correct the under processed areas. You have given great and easy to follow tips to do before and after getting a relaxer. I would have to say you have sparked a great desire to get back on the healthy hair journey. Thank you so much. I encourage you to continue with your informative videos. It helps trust. By the way beautiful hair. Stay blessed
Thank you for sharing such positive and encouraging words! I’m so happy you’re finding my videos helpful! Thanks for watching and happy hair journey 💜
Looks beautiful and she seemed really gentle with your hair especially when blow drying it. Looking forward to more videos.
Hair looks gorgeous #Team Relaxed!! *I am about to go for my 1st salon relaxer in 3 years. Wish me luck!
Wow you & your hair are so pretty🌹❤️✨I'm relaxing soon (I am natural right now) & I was thinking about getting the affirm relaxer, I love your results!
Very pretty just make sure to be careful with sew in and braids it tends to break the hair and damage... but love it
Everbody gets on every pretty girls vids and comments how pretty she is so i never stop to tell them again. But YOU MAM are sooo pretty with those eyes. I had to say it
Looks amazing! Love the blunt ends, looks healthy x
Thanks girl! x
This hair salon is near where I live. My husband keeps telling me to go there but I wasn't sure as like yourself bit uncomfortable with people doing my hair besides me. Will check them out🤗 Beautiful results😍
Thank you! You should definitely give them a try, I've been going for about a year and a half now and they never disappoint! x
Healthy Hair Junkie. I booked an appointment with them. Difficult to get an appointment however I'm very excited 😊.
This is amazing! I am surprised that after 12 weeks, the relaxer was in your hair for less than 20 minutes and looked that amazing! No wonder my hair keeps breaking. I leave braids in for almost 2 months, and relax as soon as i take the braids out! I usually want the relaxer to stay in my hair for almost an hour, all in the name of hair growth! So thankful God brought me to this channel! No more abusing my hair!
Also, i have a question, how does your hair not get burnt after your pre-relaxer routines? I was told that the drier the scalp, the more tolerable your hair will be during the relaxing process. Is that a lie?
Yess to no more abusing your hair 🙌🏾 also try and give your hair a little break in between taking down your braids and getting your relaxer.
Sorry, I'm not quite sure what you mean by a drier scalp, but from my knowledge and experience your scalp should be cleansed then based just before your relaxer to protect it xx
Hello! So they protected your scalp but i wonder if they put something on your hair lengh to protect them as well ?
Love your hair it’s beautiful, love love your accent new subbie.
Well done ur hair is glowing✨✨
Thank you! x
Hair looks great. Its hard to find a good stylist that you trust.
Thank you! I totally agree, I know I'm in good hands!
Lovely! The relaxer is it lye or no lye?
It turned out really beautiful!! 😍😍😍
Thanks! I loved the results x
I am loving it !

Hi I need help
I did my one relaxing and I have the full system affirm normal kind the lavender color
And it didn’t relaxe my hair with 3b
Can I repeat it soon
Is it better than olive oil and just for me relaxers??????
Your hair is soft so you can do it for 18 weeks post. Than try lengthening the process otherwise your hair will appear over processed as it presently look. I'm sure those looking are wondering why you processed so early?
You can go to seven days after you wash your hair relax and relax treatment?
Lye or No lye?
But the result is gorgeous
Thank you x
How do you get your hair to flow, my hair is really stiff has no movement to it
It's got extra flow as it was freshly straightened x
My stylist has been using Affirm on me for many years. I think finally my hair is starting to have issues with this product. Thinking about switching to Mizani
Oh really, what issues are you having with it?
the front of my hairline right by forehead has been breaking off. Not sure what is going on.
😍
Your hair is beautiful! ! How much time did she leave the relaxer on?
She mentioned it in the video
She did a great job! Did she deep condition your hair?
Thank you! I didn't have it deep conditioned but I'll be back for a treatment soon x
Hey x so does the Elite salon provide the affirm normal relaxer for everyone (including the rest of the products you mentioned)? Or do I have to bring my own? If I want to use the exact same products you did, do I have to tell them beforehand in order for them to stock it? Thanks xx
Hey! As far as I'm aware, they only use Avlon products in the salon so it'll either be the affirm creme relaxer or the sensitive scalp relaxer- those were the two options I had previously, not sure if that's changed. So no, you wouldn't have to tell them beforehand as long as you're booked in for a relaxer xx
I love the video where is ur stylist located
can you do a video on growing edges back?
Sure xx
Great results
Thanks!
How often do you relax your hair?
I relax every 16 weeks 💆🏾♀️
Nice job, I do have a question. Haven't you think on getting a Keratin treatment?
I’m happy relaxing so I haven’t done any research into keratin treatments.
I'm asking because Keratin is an acid treatment and relaxer are alkaline treatment. All acid treatment made soft, strong manageable and straight hair.
Sapphire yess. And It make the hair fell soft difference from the relax. The point is to find a good brand. I used Recamier.
Sapphire Keratin is made based on Keratin which is a protein the hair is made off. Meaning that it gives back to the hair the protein that lose with the relax procces.
very pretty.
Thank you 💜
beautiful
Thank you 💜
I have 4c hair so what would i need to use normal or mild
Best to consult a stylist on that one but mine suggested normal as I don’t have any scalp issues x
Hi, good night ! My name is Alessandra i 'm from brasil. I'm not speack inglês, but , is very beautiful your hair .i go to try this relaxer too .by
Thank you 😘
I have an appointment on Thursday and i am scared too, i am so used to doing my hair that i am scared to trust someone with my hair. Fingers crossed
Howd it go?
@@n.k.4481 disappointed, my hair came out underprocessed and she seemed to have 0 idea on hair care. Combed my hair dry with a thin tooth comb, the pain!
What is the name of the song that is playing❓
Thank you for the answer❗
Your hair was beautiful, God bless always 🙌😘
Thank you, music deets are in the description x
beautiful results
Thank you! xx
Do you know any other relaxers brands that relax hair like Affirm?
With body and shine?
The only other relaxer I've used in ORS olive oil relaxer x
Healthy Hair Junkie thanks
Did she use cold or hot water to wash your hair?
Lukewarm water
love it! i was wondering if you'd consider yourself as having a sensitive scalp and if you usually burn... I live in South London SW8 and I'm looking for a place to go!
After my first salon relaxer experience I assumed I had a sensitive scalp so I would always relax my hair half a head at a time to avoid burning. However this time around my stylist worked pretty fast so there was no need. She also decided on the normal relaxer as opposed to the sentive scalp relaxer because I don’t suffer from dry scalp or any scalp irritation. As you’re local I’d definitely recommend visiting Elite x
Nyc
Hi what was the name of the stylist you had? How much did you pay? X
My stylists is Talisha and I paid £80 for the relaxer & trim x
How much did it cost
£85 x
Your mum should be vex. She is better than any salon.
She's fine with it actually.
The end result looks great but Relaxing, blow drying and straightening same day? that's a whole lot of stress on the hair. a'int straightening on my relaxed day pls.
Thanks. I guess if I was concerned about 'stressing' my hair I'd be natural. A bit of heat isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things 🤷🏾♀️
Where did u buy your relaxer pls?
It was provided by the salon x
It's obvious you are kind of stressed 😅😅😅
😂😂 right! All for nothing!
beautiful hair
Thank you! x
