I work down the street from KHYA. I love timing my lunch breaks in season to watch this E190 come in…no matter how many times I see it, it never gets old- seeing a jet of its size come in to land at my little hometown airport.
I remember plane watching at KHYA and right over my head came a PBA Douglas DC-3. Not long after that I booked and flew on a PBA DC-3 round trip to Boston. What an experience!!!

nice video. great view of what looks like Martha's Vineyard (including the airport?) followed by decent into Hyannis airport over RT 6.
+Jay Nichols The airport shown at 0:55 is the decommissioned Trade Wind Airport, a small general aviation airfield. The main airport wasn't shown in the video.
@@colinbyrne7535 the island at the beginning is MV. Looking down at Vineyard Haven Harbor, East and West Chop. You can also see the Elizabeth Islands in the distance. Then once the plane turns right you see the south side of the Cape. Falmouth, then Mashpee then Barnstable. Really nice video.
