My husband's heart has become hardened. He explained that he and I don't believe in living the same way. I'm a Christian. He was as well. Over time he began to reject the Gospel. Today he told me he wants to get a divorce. I'm devastated, confused, lost, hurting. Please keep me in your prayers. I trust God. I don't know what to do now.
If he asked the Lord into his heart, he still is a Christian. Jesus doesn't abandon us just because we stray from the path. I know this post is a couple years old but I felt it was important to point that out. The Lord may be using this hurt as a tool. Maybe he is calling you closer to Him, lean on Him. The Lord works in ways we don't understand but the Lord is in control, submit to him and he will show you the Way.
Many people will tell friends what they want to hear. I agree with you it is way more loving to tell a friend the truth about their eternal destiny if they do not accept Jesus and repent. Great Bible study today. Thank you.
Great exposition as always Skip. I listened to a couple of other sermons on Acts 24 while I was waiting for you to upload yours but the way you unpack the chapters have so much more depth to them and bring the scenes alive in a unique way. God bless you. I'm looking forward to Acts 25!
I’m not waiting but wondering what to do next? I wonder if more people feel like me. Been saved, baptized by water, joined a church, read and study the Bible, talk about my beliefs and the Bible when prompted..... now what? What does God want me to do?
Thank you for writing in. My name is Mat Griego. I serve as one of the pastors at Calvary Church. Here are a couple next steps to consider. Get in a small group, where you can live life with other believers and grow together. We need a small circle. The next would be serve. Serving is what we were created to do, where you are a part of building the church and kingdom. Our great commission Jesus gave us is to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” I would encourage you to talk with a leader or pastor at your church to help you identify your next step. Keep going and growing. Mat Griego | Assistant Pastor CALVARY CHURCH
I cannot skip, Skip's teaching...🙂 Love it to obey.

One of the next saddest comments is that of Herod Agrippa: “You almost persuade me to become a Christian…”
