Is there a reason that Parisian engines are so small?

Michael Long. Many very small streets. And paris is a smal sized city with many fire stations (20 inside the city of Paris ) ans there are watter supplies everywhere for fire trucks

Michael Long and the ambulances seen here are basic paramedics. Ambulances with doctors are much bigger

Thank you Stanislas - I think I have heard somewhere before about the engines being small due to the street sizes, although I don't really think they could be a lot smaller than some of the roads we have here in England!

Michael Long the engines seen in this videos are small indeed, but we also have other fire engines that are way bigger

I hate how emergency vehicles wait until they are right up your bum before turning on warning devices, it is ment to be on to allow vehicle know in advance so they have time to move.
