GH 2008 Emmy Montage 35th Annual Daytime Emmys! (GH Wins)

This is the Emmy montage put together by ABC for GH's 2007 work (even though they put Claudia Zacharra all over it, she didn't come on the show til 2008). Featuring the entire cast with as few Quartermaines as possible! Stupid GH. You only win based on politics.

You may think GH wins on politics, but fans always cheered the loudest for GH, that in itself speaks clearly of why GH wins the most best drama Emmys.
And besides, they were the first soap to use the real-time format, and you know what, it worked!

The hostage crisis was done using the real-time format that the primetime show 24 uses, where each episode is one hour of a 24 hour day. GH turned the clock back to reveal one hour of the hostage crisis everyday.

When GH does action, there is no other soap drama that can compete with it. When GH pulls out all the stops and puts their ensemble cast together, they are a sure fire hit and will win.

yea stuff like the text message killer shouldn't have counted. let's face it the only thing good about that year was metro court hostage crisis and scrubs. the whole liason, jasam and lusam thing was a mess.

I respectfully disagree with you RobinIsLuvdotnet. Gh won not because of politlics but because when they bring it, they bring more to the table than any other soap. In spite of year of largely lousy writing. That one month of sweeps was well written and directed and brilliantly acted. They won b/c of the talents of Kimber, JT, Sebastian L and others. What's a shame is that while they are capable of producing such excellence, they can fumble so badly the rest of the time!
