This is one of the worst levels I have ever seen with my own eyeballs Uncued oneshots, uncued freetimes, bad ticks, incorrect offset, and I think a wrong tempo? Who thought this was passable? And why are people praising this???
This fanmade level is honestly one of the worst levels I've seen. It represents nothing in regards to how actual Rhythm Doctor is played, and its existence makes me die inside with every passing second.
@@mizu_bunny ello, coming back to this video, i can see how it is a mess. I found out that rhythm doctor is a one click rhythm game that has a tempo, like 1/4, 1/7. Now, judging this beatmap, I personally think it is not good and that it could be better
guys stop praising this level as a good level, it is hardly unfair and having no cues at all. everything is wrong with it. it is not good. there are more higher quality levels out there.
This is physically painful to watch. > Oneshots need a "Get Set" cue > Classic rows need to be reactable or cued in some way, you can't just throw a super fast row in there uncued > Not a formal rule, but CPU rows probably shouldn't be there if they aren't serving any purpose There's definitely potential, this is a pretty decent use of VFX and visually probably better than anything I've made, but that is simply *not* how you chart a level. A well-charted level can be feasibly perfected, first-try, without knowing the song ahead of time, given enough skill. This is none of the above. Please stop liking this video, people. This is not a good chart or a good level and is definitely not what Rhythm Doctor should be known for. Level creator, if you see this, please don't take it personally. I absolutely believe, based on the VFX, that you are good at using the editor and can make good levels. But this definitely aint it, chief.
@HyperSoop There's nothing wrong with playing a level more than once, but Rhythm Doctor is a game with an extremely heavy emphasis on raw skill. When the entire premise of the game is "press/hold space at [x] time which is telegraphed really far in advance", you need to make sure that [x] time and the way [x] time is telegraphed is consistent. If you can't see a beat coming unless you already know it's there, then that shifts the focus from skill, muscle memory, and rhythm, to memorization. And there are some games where that's fine! But Rhythm Doctor is simply not one of them. Blind or untelegraphed hits simply have no place in this game. If you don't agree with that, then I suggest you go play something else, because you will not enjoy your time here.
@@crimsonDestroyer agreed I played rhythm doctor and the only thing that comes close to one battle worn’s lines is the politician. But even he is cued before the level or is given enough time to make it work. Roller disco rumble? The miner’s heart beat X’s form the politician’s heartbeat
To be fair, I'm not sure if this is even readable at all. Mainly due to the uncued oneshots and the classic beats that are a bit too fast. Oneshots are generally supposed to follow a consistent 1-2 beat where you press at 2, and this beat must be given through a cue with two spotlights along with a voice. If this beat changes at all, it must be cued again. A good example of this is in an official level, which recues again as the beat gets faster: ua-cam.com/video/bGO4UYa8nNQ/v-deo.html But that goes unused in this level. Extremely fast classic beats are acceptable, provided they're either linked with a slower row or cued in some way so you can expect them. For example, someone made a tutorial for their own gimmick involving such beats: ua-cam.com/video/BVovwHH32mM/v-deo.html Simply setting the row to CPU for a bit is also fine so the player can watch and memorize it: ua-cam.com/video/seE7ZtHEMDE/v-deo.html The beats here do none of that.
