Yellowstone in winter has been on my bucket list for a while now. It did not disappoint!! I hope you enjoyed this one. A HUGE shoutout goes to Nick for helping me get the footage of the wildlife. What did you think of the video? Comment below! 💙
The video was...there are no words. Coyotes, wolves, bison, so beautiful it hurts. After hiking through the latest 10" of snow here in Indiana, I felt like I was there. If you haven't visited the Great Smokey Mountains, you can see so much wildlife without trying. I lived in Cherokee, NC for a while, and you would see elk every day, sometimes just wandering through town. Difference is that you two respect them, and don't try to get up close. People forget that these creatures are wild, and that gets folks hurt, and then the animals pay. Thank you for something that really moved me. Loved your little room.
Seeing the wildlife on this trip is something I won't forget. Observing all the animals living out their lives in the snow was so incredible and I'm really grateful I can share the experience through video. I've been to the Great Smokey Mountains, but it was a long long time ago. I'd love to go back someday! Thank you for watching 😊
Stunning video! Winter/ snow trips have advantages...less humans, less traffic, less noise, the snow makes it much easier to spot wildlife with the contrast and see tracks
Yea the winter was a totally different experience than when I've visited the park in the summer! They're both beautiful, but I loved the winter even more than I thought I would! ❄️
Stunning footage Amanda! I never dreamed I would be so close to a herd of bison until I visited Yellowstone - it's fascinating how the herds there will simply stop and hang out on the roads. Thanks for sharing this beauty with us! Inspired to return for a winter visit :) - Elise
Awesome video! Thank for you for being safe with the animals. I’m from Wyoming and we hear about tourists getting hurt all the time. Thank you for promoting safety!
Thank you for sharing your life and video with others. Whether it is because you cannot go to places like Yellowstone because you cannot afford it or because you cannot physically do it. It is nice to see the animals and scenery. Good job.
I clicked on this so fast and cast it to my TV immediately 😆 it looks fantastic! I’m trying to convince my indoorsy boyfriend to embrace the outdoors more. I’m gonna share this video with him.
I hope you both enjoy it!! Seeing wildlife is really exciting, and in a place like Yellowstone you can see so much right from the road, so even if your boyfriend doesn't love the outdoors (yet!), taking a drive through the park might be the perfect intro! Thank you for watching. 😁
AWESOME FOOTAGE!! Loved it all. Thank you for sharing your trip. Would love to make it to Yellowstone one day. We just started car camping as a family and I have been binge watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your tips!!
Thanks for posting this! It's great! Yellowstone is fabulous in winter. So different from the other seasons . The beauty is unsurpassed. I must say I am envious!
Wow the joy you feel on this trip is the joy I feel every time I am in Yellowstone. Seeing wolves is a spiritual experience. I truly miss Yellowstone every time I leave it. Never been there in winter yet.
I felt so lucky to see the wolves. It was a really special experience. I'm already planning to go back next winter! It might be my favorite season in the park!
Thank you for making this video with the highlights of your trip, along with so many stunning shots. Absolutely loved everything. I'm contemplating whether to go, and this will help me decide. I will need to research and get the appropriate gear, though.
Seeing you guys just take off and go for such real and exciting adventures inspires me so so much. I’ve been taking quarantine to try to explore as much of my local area and wildlife as I can. You bring such an amazing light to your videos. I LOVE them!! ❤️
Easily my video favorite video from you so far! Visited Yellowstone this past summer, but Yellowstone in the winter looks like the move! Amazing video quality from these past videos 👍🏽

Strangely I kept waiting to hear David Attenborough's voice narrating the wildlife scenes lol . Keep up the brilliant work I look forward to watching the next one

That was an amazing video! Yellowstone is on our bucket list as well but after seeing your awesome video, winter time would be a great time to visit! Beautiful footage and I loved the wildlife!! Excellent!! 👍🏻
I loved the park in the Winter! We didn't really see a lot of other people and the animal sightings were incredible! I'm already planning to go back next year! 😁
Amazing! My Dad lives in Alpine WY and I've gone to Yellowstone numerous times. I've seen every resident wild animal there except for the Wolf. What an incredible experience, thank you for sharing your footage!
I still can't believe we got to see the wolves! They were so incredible to watch and I'm so glad I was able to share the experience. Thank you for watching!
Great video! I have Yellowstone on my bucket list. The closest bison I have to me in Kentucky is a state park they have a few. It’s so cute to see in the spring when they have some new additions to the herd.
My hubby and I just went to Yellowstone the end of January this year.....we were able to snowmobile into the park with a guide. The first day, we snowmobiled about 60 miles from West Yellowstone down to Old Faithful and back. The thermal features were amazing. The second day we did about 100 miles on the snowmobile....this time going over to Canyon and seeing both upper and lower Yellowstone falls.....the lower falls was amazing with the ice bridge(a bucket list item for sure). We saw lots of animals including several bald eagles, trumpeter swans, coyotes, a river otter, a lots of bison. When we were coming back from the falls, an entire group of bison came right up the road we were on....we had to pull to the side with snowmobiles end to end so the bison could not get between them and then get behind them as a defense for us. The neatest part was there were zero cars allowed in the entire part except where you went. Our third day we did about 45-55 miles snowmobiling on our own on trails just outside the park. It was a bucket list trip for sure and we will return again. We have been to Yellowstone several times in the summer and liked it inspite if being so crowded with cars and people. Your pictures with the benefit of the very long lens are amazing though. Thanks for sharing....loved all the ghost trees we saw up at the high elevations too.
I would absolutely love to go snowmobiling next time I'm in the park! I'm already planning to go back next winter and that's something I definitely want to do!

That's so amazing, I would love to see a wolf in the wild. They are such majestic creatures. I did a cross-country road trip in 2008 when I was only 21, we were moving to Colorado from NJ, and on our last leg of our trip we went down through Yellowstone and into the Grand Tetons. We camped in a campground there and there was a buffalo herd near by. Oh man, after a few beers at night it seemed like they were getting closer and closer and we could hear so much of their grunts and noises it was a little scary but so cool. The next morning we spoke with the park rangers there and they said that was normal and that the buffalo get close to the campground almost every night but they haven't had any issues, but oh man that was so cool to like sleep among them.
Wow that sounds incredible! I haven't camped in the park yet, but that would definitely be wild and a little unnerving haha Seeing the wolves was definitely a highlight of the trip. Nick has wanted to see them in the wild for years and we finally got lucky!
This definitely reminds me of something you would see at Banff Film Festival - so, so beautiful! Thank you for sharing. Amanda - what style Osprey daypack do you carry in this video?

I don't know how I missed this video last year! This is amazing, had a smile the whole time watching. The bison!! Could you tell what the wolf was carrying at the end? A piece of the elk? Also now, I'm not sure I can tell a wolf from a coyote. love the music too, perfection!

Hi @amandaoutside ! Your video is so inspiring! I always wanted to visit Yellowstone in Winter too, but I was not vaccinated. I am now vaccinated and am ready to go for the trip. Thank you so much! 😁
What an EPIC trip!
It really was incredible to see all those animals in the snow!
So Beautiful!!!
Another fabulous video. I've been lucky enough to see wolves in Yellowstone myself, so I understand the thrill of that. By the way, what was the name of the awesome Arcteryx jacket Nick was wearing? Thanks.
Hi @amandaoutside ! Your video is so inspiring! I always wanted to visit Yellowstone in Winter too, but I was not vaccinated. I am now vaccinated and am ready to go for the trip. Can you suggest which lodges I can stay at and how much in advance I can plan the trip if I want to go in May? This is my first time visiting and I would love the suggestions!
Pizza looks good.Yellowstone is a very good place to be.Have fun.
Love the video, thank you !

Can I ask what’s the name of the Airbnb that you stayed in?
