Today in RAID Shadow Legends I'll share the champs who are, in my opinion, the WORST of the worst epics in the game. Who did I get wrong? Who did I get right? Let me know in the comments below!

Yaga is probably the one that makes me the saddest, because I love how he looks! And the fact that you get him around the 2 month mark, I'd adore it if they buffed him! He's just got such a cool look to be as disappointing as he is!
Well ideally you could pull a basher which has the same base skin and it would compensate
I also hate how, unless you know to focus on fusion, itll take a long time before you end up with a good skinwalker or lizardman faction...they are both tough early

Snorting Thug got me through Magic Keep early on. He’s not worth booking but definitely valuable for folks struggling with taking that shield down.
as a new FTP player, I am so thankful for videos like these. Epic books are soooo hard to come by and i thankfully used all mine for Rearguard Sergeant because she actually seemed useful.
Pale blue dot is one of my favourite photographs, too! It just is such a profound image of everything we are, although it wasn't the picture I would have guessed to have been mentioned as a favourite, it's the first time I've heard someone just casually bring it up, outside of my circle of space nerd friends. ^^ For some reason it doesn't seem to be very well known anymore. I kind of like showing it to people as my favourite picture without saying what it is, and get a "meh what is this pixelated mess" back, and then nerd out about space just to explain how awesome that grainy ray of sunshine is. As far as selfies goes, that's pretty much the definitive one.
That editing though.. Makes every single video even more amazing! 7:02

Maeve was the first ever epic that I pulled from my first Sacred shard... used her because she was almost all I had for a while and that A3 block revive was OK against the Ice Golem minions. She easily got replaced by Armiger later on.
The fact you replaced an Epic with an Uncommon speaks volumes. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love that uncommons and rares can be strong and viable, it keeps the game fun. But Still.. shows how bad she is.
@@juliankanzuki2013 to be fair, it was before she got buffed, but I've dragged Jizoh out of the vault before her.
Reinbeast, even post nerf, was essential in getting me through fw21 with his shield saving the rest of the team so don't regret maxing him out in the slightest 😁
My only call out from this list would be in favor or Reinbeast as he is at least functional for force defense DT secret room and for FW regarding his passive, and the continuous heal on the A1. His kit isn't sexy but it can bring just enough to those two areas to be what you need (unbooked and even at level 50)
Also pairing him with a attack heavy, HP light nuker in early arena can save it from a fatal hit with that passive and let it get another crucial hit in
Started watching videos to help learn more about raid about a month ago and you are the number 1 raid content provider I swear you bring the energy people need that the others don’t give keep it up 😊
The pale blue dot idea makes sense, but to me, it means that nothing I will do/have done matters. Instead, I like to give myself a smaller scale, limiting myself to this planet and the people on it, making as much of a positive impact as possible
Love these intros - I've had the 'Pillars of Creation' photo from the James Webb Space Telescope framed to remind me what a tiny part of the universe we are! 🌎

Reinbeast was almost OP back in the day. I remember back when none of us had any champs he was in loads of arena teams and I still use him in my FW 25 skinwalkers team lol -- my skinwalkers are so far behind the rest of my factions lol
Reinbeast used to be op, not sure what happened but I remember him running as single champion blocking teams that seemed to heal faster than you could damage him. Don't remember anything happens but those teams just seemed to vanish overnight.
@@CS-zn6pp he got nerfed so he can't buff himself and that was the end of thar
2 things I've learned after almost 2 years of playing Raid and watching youtube videos about Raid:
1: If Ash hates a character it's BAD.
2: If HellHades says a character is good it's GREAT!
Inversely, If Ash likes a character it might still be bad, and if Hellhades says a character is OK it might still be great.
Point being this video here? If Ash is telling you these characters are bad, you can trust it implicitly.
I actually fed Yaga just a couple of days after getting him. I was "desperate" to upgrade one of my campaign champs, and figured Yaga wasn't particularly good.
Ash man... thrown shade on my man Marksman... I know he doesn't seem like much but he was his dps was the highest in my gf's clan boss team until we hit Nightmare and made her a Hellicath team. By himself he was carrying 9-10 mil damage every key. Not the most consistent damage dealer, but a great poison champ especially in relentless. I do think he needs a buff on the A3 and maybe add the extra crit on all damages to make him more viable to most players, but still in 5* relentless gear that was just okay getting up to 10 mil damage is better than most epics.
Wait until plarium adds "True Revive" that'll ignore block revives and make a ton of epics die

I love muh boy Yaga. He slaps, he does a LOT of dmg. Try it, do a video on him. I use him everywhere, even in arena he slaps.

Should've included dark athel on the list. She's pretty bad. I regret investing some resources into her when I got her for free. Then as soon as I found out that she's pretty bad I pulled another from a sacred shards. I was frustrated 😂 I have over half of the bad champs on this list so would you suggest I use them for food? Or keep them Incase plarium ever buffs em?

Bushi has STRONG multipliers. I have him on my second account and he can smack even though he is a single target attacker. He has a lot of damage going for him, which is a lot more than any of these other champs have. His book value isn't good, so still, don't invest your books, but.......again, he smacks.
I'm very surprised he didn't put Lordly Legionary on this list based on his many, MANY instances of him saying LL is bad. Frostbringer is another one. I would argue Bushi and Masked Fearmonger offer more value than Lordly Legionary and Frostbringer.
The worst part isn't these champions being as bad as they are. The worst part is these champs are this bad, and they buffed Cupidus, Venus, and Baron.
Whats wrong with buffing Baron? Im a new player aka noob and i have Baron. Planing on maxing him out somehow. Is it a bad idea?
@@milemile4813 Oh. No. Baron is a 10/10 for sure. Go ahead and max him. The problem with buffing Baron is there are champions who needed it WAAAAAAY more. Queen Eva stands out as being particularly underwhelming.

Whew! I'm glad none of my Shadowkin squad got mentioned 🤣 but also, good to know what I should/shouldn't waste my resources on. Snorting Thug is forever a 4* fodder for sure

Funny enough, right after I started playing, I built Masked Fearmonger on your recommendation. (go look up you vids for then) Got him to 50, and realized, you missed this one big time. But still enjoy your channel anyway.

I didn't pick Kael when I started, so I was super excited when I got Yaga cause I didn't have any poison or hp burn champs... Safe to say I STILL don't have any decent ones after getting him

Also, I maxed out Tallia as my first 60 since I got her for free, thinking it would do more than Elhain.
Mistakes were made.
Tallia or Kallia ?
If it's Tallia then you're tripping man , she hits hard af for an Epic
You're not gonna get full value out of Tallia early on, Elhain applies her weaken in her A1 which basically keeps it on for clan boss literally permanently until she bites the dust.
Tallia on the other hand is a CD ability that can be resisted much more often.
I ain't talking about Arena, who cares... given how squishy she gets sweeped out without enough speed. You need crit dmg, Acc, Speed, for her to be valuable. (that ain't cheap early stages of the game)
Surely mid to nearly late when you can get better gear but even then at that point you'll already have better options, overall a waste of books and resources when you can just get a cheap version that nearly performs just as same with Elhain. A rare.

Bushi was my first epic pull and he is my man. I maxed him out right away. He and Black Knight, 3 starred their way through all the campaigns up to nightmare level 4

I use Maeve against tag teams with resurrectors, and her sleep is useful with high accuracy as she can nullify multiple targets in a row (extra turn on sleep). Yaga I banked at level 40 because he didn't impress me. I ranked Tolf to 50 and non-crit build for FW - so underwhelming. Have a warden and was planning for hydra (reflect) but you opened my eyes to the resource requirements, and Bushi...food. Just got Fearmonger, sounds like he could be a good chicken too. So generally, I agree!

Poor Kallia, luckily she escaped a slap from the hammer this time but I love her. She's been my first hero with HP Burn and she's been a very big part of me increasing in strength.

Also also, I was happy to not see Bloodfeather on the list because for some weird reason I really like her (She's what Scyl is to you feels like) But she could do with a buff, make her A2 an AOE for starters.

Ashman, I like these videos. Funny thing, most of your top worst epics have good ratings in HH. But thanks to this video I made 4 of the 9 epics named food. Including terrorbeast, he's gets my team killed everytime with his reflect damage on stage 21 faction wars. Screw terrorbeast man.
Your channel is my favorite to watch for raid content. I agree with this list 100% but I will say, Marksman is actually a really good clan boss champ for early/mid game. Built tanky with relentless gear and turn off A3 and even A2 if you want. He can put TONS of poisons on CB sometimes even maxing out the debuff.
Wow!!!! The video was bitter enough, but that empathy for Marksman just pushed it over the edge. I laughed so hard 😅😆😂
Great help.. Have you any video like this of rare champions, I've so many leveled up rares that I could use to level up others but not sure who exactly to get rid of and don't want to make a mistake

@Carlos Catarino: Thank you! Ironically, I couldn't remember the name of that weapon despite years of playing Dungeons & Dragons (when I was younger) and being of Swiss descent (my last name is Swiss in terms of nationality -- halberds are traditional weapons for the Swiss Royal Guards). 🤓

Hey ash, anyone that says they have all their stuff together either A.) focusing only on things that are going good in their life and ignore fixing the bad. Or B.) are very good at hiding things. Just my opinion man, life is all about improving one self constantly l. Never settle and always be proud of the things you’ve done to advance yourself
I got Bushi on my first day playing raid and was convinced, he's a nuking beast that also can't be killed, so I focused on bringing him to lv50 instead of Kael as well as gathering some masteries. Well, I got a few lucky 3★ clears in campaign the first days thanks to Bushi's revive on death but that's it. Poor Kael will never forgive me.
Old video but I'm literally about to use 5 of these guys as food, they're all lvl 50 from my early faction runs. Gonna enjoy it. Bushi and Fearmonger gonna be so satisfying.

It's kind of funny how Orcs epics are either A+ amazing, or F- trash, with nothing inbetween. Like one one side you have Seer, Sandlashed Survivor, Dhukk, Ult Galek.. all A+ amazing.. but then the othesrs are like.. Tolf, Shaman, Bonekeeper, Terror beast.. Epics who get out classed by uncommons.

on masked fearmonger, should come at this from a 'I have nothing else, is it worth using over rares' perspective, as I think that's where most people are who are watching a video like this, I would never say book him, but he did take me I think to or passed the first boss on a faction I have nothing for.

For the longest I used Maeve in a Daze set, high accuracy high attack and crit. Used her in fw and ice golem. Her a3 hits like a truck and her a2 because of the daze set would give me a two turn stun… but she’s not used much anymore
That is a good idea, call me crazy but I think she could be descent some where besides what you already mentioned.

I remember pulling masked fearmonger and almost instantly wanting to max him, but I think his look made me feel that way, anyway I'm glad I saw your video before doing so as I already maxed too much useless champs
Idk about Yaga, i think he has great support with poison debuffs especially if you use the poison set and does great damage overall. Maybe not for a p2w but for a f2p he is a great champion for poison.
Snorting Thug did help be beat Magic Keep early in my account, but yeah I stopped using him pretty quick.

My first epic was Warden. My second epic was Kallia. My third epic was Terrorbeast. It was not easy for me starting out

Snorting Thug is actually quite useful if you utilise him in the right way. Stealing buffs that can then make the enemy vulnerable while boosting his chance in the fight. He gets blocked a lot in my live arena fights as players know his menace
