The MENSWEAR show comes with a dance performance and it gave us the idea for a FASHION&DANCE video that Julien Da Costa is already researching. Stay tuned!

Olivier just keeps on redefining himself and the over all ART of his brand. The finale part where the dancers performed and Olivier and waves of models walked through them seriously gave me goosebumps. What a moment for everyone in the room!!! ✨
Olivier arrive tellement à rendre L’hyper Luxe humain. Parcontre le mouvement de foule avec les vestes a 10K sur le dos des models tout fou fou. J’aurai paniqué 😂. loic, tes vidéos sont toujours aussi géniales.

Wow. I've always been quite critic about Olivier's work at Balmain, I used to think it was too commercial or bedazzled. But, after seeing his documentary Wonder Boy about his search for his biological mother along with this video by Loic, it all becomes so emotional specially when you realize it's about his life's story, his childhood in Bordeaux, the memories of his grandfather, the drapings... I hope that he stays at Balmain FOREVER.

J'ai le smile et j'ai vraiment eu cette impression de traversée sous tension de désert et de libération de joie et d'adrénaline au moment où il faut libérer toute cette énergie, comme quelqu'un qui trouve enfin son oasis.

I almost cried while watching this one!! What a beautiful show and message. "We all belong to this world" and I loved how he made something that was just as much part of this African decent as part of his French life and present. If that makes sense. It just gave me hope and excitement because there are ways to express ourselves as people who feel they belong to the in-between, I'm talking as a Mexica-American person where you don't have to choose one way/life/culture over another there is a peaceful and beautiful way to coexist and marry both where the message and reality is that we are all the same and we all belong. IDK if I'm making sense but I truly loved the clothes and what he's doing. Thank you Loic Prignet for your great content!!!

merci Loïc pour ce nouveau mini docu. Ca fait vraiment du bien c'est intéressant et ça me donne moins l'impression de me perdre dans les méandres d'internet. J'ai adoré les drapés, esthétiques mais aussi répondant aux enjeux écologiques de la mode (qui dit drapé dit réutilisation et réinterprétation à l'infini du tissu!). J'aimerai vraiment que tu propose un reportage sur les enjeux de la mode à l'avenir et les solutions possibles, d'après les témoignages de journalistes, de designers, créateurs, artistes, consommateurs etc.
J'avais pas pensé à cette histoire de réinterprétation des drapés!
Des noirs dans des défilés de mode. Couturié, models, assistants... C’était un fantasme impossible il y a 20 ans mais Olivier l’a fait. Je n’en reviens pas, les portes de la mode s’ouvrent enfin. Bravo et merci.
The men's runway was amazing!! I preferred the men's runway over the women's. I'm a woman, I would wear all of it!! Just loved the boldness of the colours, the intricate details, the neutral tones, accessories and especially the dancing. What an epic show!Bravo! Excellent camera work and conversation.
