Pin lock makes a world of difference. Can’t have a helmet without it anymore. HJC put a nice spin on the street fighter look. Nice looking helmet brother! 👊🏼🇺🇸🇬🇧🇨🇦
It's almost like a bit of an off-road vibe too. I love my Shoei Ex-Zero for commuting in the summer but it's no good at highway speed or in the cold. Need a similar look but fully enclosed.
Put the pin lock on mate you wont regret it. No more fogging up, I wouldn't not run one anymore. PS I think the pin lock is clear just the tape its on is yellow 😎👍
@@TheMilitaryBiker A large one, without ruining the suspence of a future vid...Ok an Rpha 11 Texen, which is a full on race lid, but my body is too wee for one of those HUGE ADV LIDS FFS & again they weigh loads!!! 🤣😂👍
I have the same helmet and it has been a nightmare since day one. Looks very cool but I can’t ride with the visor open, it makes an extremely loud whistle that makes the ride impossible. How is it for you when you ride with the visor open? I’m the only one ? I couldn’t find anything about this problem in internet
Interesting…unfortunately due to the snow and ice up here I haven’t roads with it yet. I wonder if I will have the same experience come spring. Thanks for watching and for the information.
What do you think he's better than a Simpson? I also have the v10 but it is still new at home, style is cool have it in gray but I always have a hard time with fullface helmets. Which one fits my Dyna best now
Can’t compare man, I’ve never had a Simpson due to the enormous cost associated with them. Looking forward to riding with it this season. Thanks for watching.
Hello mate…sure…so been using for the last 4 months or so now…and honestly I love it…really quite, no whistling, extremely comfortable and looks great. I definitely recommend this helmet.
@@TheMilitaryBiker thank you for the reply mate good to gear its a quality helmet does it protect your jaw also looked at a couple of helmets and they state do not protect jaw. I was going to get an open face but decided against it now after a few stories 😬
I’m actually surprised you have a big Harley but don’t know about the pin lock 😊 Have you been riding without pin lock on your other helmets ? Just curious as pin lock is a MUST
Nope never knew about it. Like I said in the video I’ve been riding with the Bell Bullit for the past 5 years and that never had it. All my previous helmets too. They come as standard now on most helmets but never did before.
I noticed that there is not a Harley-Davidson version of that HJC V10 yet... I remember shopping for a helmet and seeing the "HJC i90" was exactly the same as the "Capstone Sun Shield II H31 Modular Helmet" from HD. The only difference was the HJC i90 is $179.99, and the HD Capstone is $275.00. Is the HD branding worth a hundred more dollars? The HJC V10 looks like a better version of a Ruroc 7.0 helmet. Just kidding, Ruroc is only up to 4.0, but maybe they will be worth purchasing when 7.0 fixes all the issues from the previous versions. I am cranky, and have not had my daily dose of coffee yet. ˙ǝɟɐs ǝpıɹ 'ǝıʌǝʇs ǝɹɐɔ ǝʞɐʇ

Rgr that bro, will have to try and get it on then. ✌️🇬🇧🇺🇸🇨🇦
It's like double glazing for your visor basically Stevie...So won't steam up...Since you still won't have been out yet! 🤬🥶🤣👍

Bloody good helmet the hjc V10
Im currently using one for winter.
Pinlock forever
I bought this after seeing yours mate, still not had chance to ride with it yet though, bloody snow.
I always put a pinlock on my helmets mate. Especially during the winter months, completely stops the fogging.
Roger that. Unfortunately we can’t ride in the winter over here so I’ll never know. 😩
Like this review . Straightforward and enjoyable.
Currently sniffing about one of these
@@glasgowharleyrider funny I’m about to do another one after riding with it for the last 5 months. FYI it’s awesome
@@TheMilitaryBiker ohhh be good to see that mate
I like HJC. I have the LS2 3-1 modular and it rocks. I have to replace mine probably in the fall (5 years). Thanks for the review Steve.
Cheers matey

You mentioned the helmet was not the same color as your bike, but you can get your helmet painted to match your bike.
Could do mate but that’s a lot of coin.
@@TheMilitaryBiker Get it vinyl wrapped?
Any updates on this mate looking at the same helmet or the v60 worried about the wind whistle

Is this new dark smoke visor from HJC original product?
Yes it is. Direct from HJC.
how is the noise-level during 60-80 mph?
Don’t know yet, not been able to ride since I got it, snow and ice everywhere
Very cool helmet
Cheers mate
Nice mate like it a lot
Sound hey
Does it have slots for eyeglasses?
Hmm good question I’ll have to check

I have actually ordered the same helmet today. Good video
how many eps layers does it have?
Not sure man, google it.
