This song always stood alone, to me, from the rest of Bad Co.'s other songs. It's super-charged and just goes into your essence like a beautiful haunting. Takes me back to great days and youth. It's quite burnished. Just lovely.
Saw these guys in June '77 on the tour for this album. Concert started with a blacked out arena, then thunder, the bass line kicks in and Simon Kirk brings in the percussion and Rodgers starts singing. Was a fabulous concert.
In '89 my husband worked at a Dairy in Loranger, Louisiana, very small town, several dairy farms, over a thousand acres of pasture. The man he worked for owned racehorses, too. I love horses ! Anyway, they always kept a radio playing while milking because it calmed the cows down. They played this song and Leaving You a lot. We would sneak a few hits off a skeeter leg and go back to milking and jamming. During the day I loved to go sit in the horse barn just to be near the horses. It was so soothing and peaceful. Great times ! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
@Kirk Ford June 7, 1977, I had 4 months left in the Marine Corps at Camp LeJeune and a 22 year old Sergeant. You were an infant, baby 👶 . Boy, that makes me old.
I saw BC 1977 Jacksonville fla They opened up with Sky is Burning Paul Rogers was wearing a white Samuel Clemmons suit and sat in front center with a white keyboard
Towards the end of the song when you can barely hear the guitar start playing then gets louder as it goes....man gets me every time!! I have to rewind to rehear it over and over again.....
Aaaaahhhhhh, 1977, I rode the road to BAD CO show in Maine. It was sweet. It was BAD COMPANY. 🎉
