Agree ballast on the traintracks looks better. I'll hope you gona make the rocky entrance of the tunnel more natural. 🤔 And I think even with a million bricks you need always that one that you don't have 🤣🤣
The ballast and sleepers always make the train tracks look great! And glad you were able to finish off the table edge with the off-brand baseplates. By the time you have added some small plates, tiles and greenery I think they will blend in very well. 👍🏻
The railroad track look great that way. One suggestion is that you should extend the rock work all the way to the wall and put the outward facing arch wall towards the city interior
I think the spacing on the arch from the straight to the curve would look better if you went with the original idea of skipping every other brick with the dark bluish gray
The ballast is beautiful!!!! But very parts intensive..... The off brand baseplates are ok! Are they the same thickness? I bought some a few years ago and they are thicker so i can not use them in combination with Lego baseplates...
I haven't noticed a difference and it seems that they are lying flat on the table. No issues with grip either. Seems Okey to me for now. We'll see how it turns out in the future 🤔
Some people call them sleepers other people call them cross ties 🛤. Whenever I get around to ballasting my railway I’ll probably use the 2x4 LGB tiles instead of 1x4 reddish brown tiles for concrete instead of timber planks
Ohhh, yeah, cross ties - I even remember a song where they are named like that! Thanks! I think the concrete look could be very cool indeed - go for it 🤙

Neverenoughlego
Never-ever enough lego. The part of the mountain I've built now os just a very rough sketch - I'll add more detailing and such - no worries 😆
Really looks awesome. It seems that the builders really wanted to incorporate the rocky terrain into their elevated portion of the city.
Yeah, it's definitely something I've seen elsewhere too - it's a wonderful look it think 😄
Love the look of the train tracks!
Thanks a lot FH - you are awesome!

Yeah, it's amazing how much it adds to the entire look - I love it :-)
Ballasting a track definitely helps -- like the little stud "stones' there for a small sense of realism. Cut baseplates -- YES :D
Yeah, I like that level of detail. Just enough to give it a little more realism without going overboard in trying to make it 100% realistic!
Great video , awesome city update :)
Thanks a lot :-)

Hmm, I'm not completely sure I understand 🤔 You want the arched white-and-grey wall extended?
@@BrickBakery no, extend the rock wall
@@josephd27 ah, I get it :-D

Hmm, that's an interesting thought - I'll definitely consider it - thanks a lot!

Oh no I never considered that, I was thinking of buy some off brand baseplate too
@@josephd27 it depends on the brand I guess 😅

@@BrickBakery that is great! I'll have a look around to see or sell this brand here.
@@BrickBakery ok, I had a quick look around, they are more expensive than Lego baseplates here 😅 so 😁
