I was there live and in person this message was on time. I walked in heavy, depressed, sad, overwhelmed, and the list goes on . But from praise and worship to the opening by Pastor Dharius to the word all the way to the importation prayer was a amazing. I know that when I left I felt much better than when I first came in. It was my first time there and my family and I will be back. Jesus was all in that place!!

A lot of those types of faiths at the end spoke to me. My protection (safe faith) may have become my prison, but it seems to hurt less than the constant disappointment that God CAN do something about my situation and prayers and yet chooses not to. So, it’s a tough season. I’d like him to explore these all further on a wed night maybe. They are important obstacles to overcome.
One thing I always admire about PD (and there are many) is his authenticity. Can’t be easy to stand in front of a faith congregation and talk about seasons of weak faith, but that’s what makes him so relatable. He GETS IT. He’s not afraid to discuss personal challenges and the victory that comes on the other side for those who stay faithful.

I have been following the series after it was recommended to me and THIS was the episode that got me, several times. Being stuck between sour and safe faith and limiting my own ability and not even recognizing it. Pastor (and the Holy Spirit ) did not have to drag me like this.
