I have a pair and wholeheartedly agree that these are beautiful sounding amps, period-regardless of class. I’m a SET and class A user and lover and these amps have a clarity and transparency that is coupled with a dynamic realism that must be heard. Percussion transients hit you with more accurate, like-like realism, IMHO. Enjoy!
Great sound here. But do you know what version of the Audions these are? Is this the original version from years ago? --I ask, because the current (as of Sept. 2023) version is the Mk.lll. There is no version designation showing on the back of this pair. It just says it's the Audion amp.
Yes . Will see how things goes. Even with RME pre amp mode .. these sounds fantastic. I will compare with Yamaha . Now I Just keep listening.. not gone back to Yamaha :)
I think you were the person mentioned Yamaha as3200 not available yet in your place and I told you to Try laxmen 509 when u asked under 10 k right . No need to spend that much .. After listening with eureka.. now I can recommend try these . I feel they can make excellent sound from any speakers. Only thing is you will need good pre amp . In my case , seems RME ad2i dac doing very good job .
@@kvrhifi hi must say the Yamaha is the complete amp for me I think it is my final amp I am getting old and I like the Yamaha to bits so I vil wait for it and have patience

Just I wanted check out if any thing I am missing from eureka speakers, as i actually made decision and purchased eureka speakers based AGD amps sound demos . I will compare and do sound analysis between AGD amps and Yamaha direct mode .. also Yamaha as whole . Will post some videos. As of now what I can say these little class D amps surprisingly good . Actually I had demo with vivace and eureka amps combo . But after listening these audions , I feel these are as powerful as their bigger brothers
@@kvrhifi Thanks for your reply :D I wished I did. Dali Epicon 6 went back. Couldn't justify the price increase for marginal quality improvement, I would say my Opticon 6 are 70-80% of Epicons. However, I've discovered my next upgrade Focal Sopra 2. These are speakers to die for when combined with Yamaha little bright with CDS3000 to my liking (I'm quite sensitive to sharp top end) but vinyl oh gosh. Yet when I've borrowed my friend's tube preamp (some cheap-ish ifi tube preamp) I knew this is what I'm going to save up for. So still quite a long way away as Sopras are a £10,000 speaker after all. Maybe in 18 months' time, unless I find something cheaper that blows me away. Currently, I'm rebuilding my E36 328i cupe so this is where my funds go. It only needs a new cooling system and then everything is new :D Love my hellrot Cheto project so satisfying to see it almost complete.
I did not try these amps or Yamaha with evo 4.4 . I sold them after i decided on eureka speakers. But they will scale up with better amps and components however you will limit amps performance. And there are limitations .even though Evo 4.4 sound stage was excellent but it just kind of spatial cues around speakers, but with eureka , i hear actually instruments places , not just cues here and there . Also details , bass definition and dynamic range evo 4.4 can not match with eureka .

You all are overlooking the incredible sound of the Ocean Way speakers! They sound that good with a lot of amps and sources! But... why does all this stuff cost so much!

Totally, awesome! I've been looking at these amps for a while and amp pretty convinced they are a final destination as far as amplification goes.

I have my AGD Audions coupled to a Supratek DHT(300b/45) line stage and the result is fantastic.
Are they easily repairable? can only AGD company repair them?

I did not try these amps or Yamaha with evo 4.4 . I sold them after i decided on eureka speakers. But they will scale up with better amps and components however you will limit amps performance. I heard these at 2024 Sydney hifi show and they were underwhelming, lifeless and bland.
