That's a great looking trip! How did you do on gas, did you need to space out gas stops? I was thinking of something in the opposite direction - does Wrightsville have something similar as the Harkers Island Fishing Center (room and marina)? We stay there all the time, it is very convenient and affordable.
It was great!! My tank holds 50 gallons and only had to stop in Beaufort which was like hour away from the Harkers Island due to the long no wake zone. I'm sure Wrightsville have something similar, but I'm sure its a premium compare to maybe Carolina Beach option.
@@timjoyner174 Thanks for the response! Our skiff holds 30 gallons, might need to plan around that! Btw, Taylor's Creek is scenic but slow - if you ever need to cut back on the time you can go out almost to the inlet and follow Shackleford banks and then the Middle Marsh up to HI.
Thinking of purchasing a Carolina Skiff to take family on such adventures. Love the video!
Thanks for watching! We love our Carolina Skiff! Just all around great boat. You won't be disappointed.

@@jasonreddick6828 will keep that in mind the next time we make the journey.
Lol the girls at the end were good sports. How much are you drafting in your ultra elite?
Definitely! Won’t risk it next time. With cooler of beer/ice and two people fishing, she drafts around 9-10 inches.
