I really like the idea that in the other side phone calls its actually a demon trying to get you to off yourself instead of your "Dearly Departed" and that's why they leave after talking to you to get you attached again and why they wont tell you anything about there area.
I just noticed that at the start of the commercial The logo is an alive man (blue dude) talking to a skull (red skull thing) and at the end they are both skulls. Ik some of you may have already noticed that but I just noticed so…yeah…
He might not have state of the art recording equipment, or a team full of animators or CGI or any of that stuff, but I like how he finds a way to make things scary and creative and enjoyable, by just using paper and editing. I love seeing people being creative in a world where a lot of people just follow trends and don’t come up with their own things.
The MARSVILLE one should be a movie in my opinion. Just that ending right there can be turned into anything, such as let’s say the son and dad try to escape and everyone’s in panic. The ending could have a twist, you could give them a backstory, I find lots of opportunity in it.
I think that the plot would be directed to this: A dad moved to MARSVILLE with his family, he has a job application but he didn’t get hired, which made him sort of depressed because he couldn’t provide anything for his family The son then showed the dad outside the window, the glass dome had cracks in it. The dad tried to explain to the police and etc but nothing was working, he eventually made an escape plan with his family. I’m too lazy to try and figure out an escape plan, but right as the glass dome started breaking, his family made it out, while the dad became a sacrifice so his family could survive. I dunno that’s kinda a boring plot but it seems like how it’d go in my opinion!
It feels like it would be a horrible idea though, pedophiles and others with bad intentions could use it as a way to talk to little children. Still sounds like something us humans would make.. 😅
update: apparently ashur does have a few tiktok short series, some of which he uploads onto youtube. i’ve already watched mark and friends this morning and its sick af

Weirdcore is one of those "calms the disturbed, disturbs the calm" things so it really depends on who you're talking to. For me it goes back and forth sometimes but right now I'm in calms the disturbed territory

One of the reasons why I really like this series is that, it's the perfect amount of disturbance for me i.e. not too little to the point that I'd be bored nor too much to the point that I'd end up feeling really disturbed. It's entertaining and I think Ashur could really balance the entertaining and the disturbing parts here.

I actually used to have a toy like “talkative teddy” its called a cloud pets and there was an app where a parent could make it say different things. But to no one’s surprise the app got talken down because peoples cloud pets kept getting hacked. Edit: this never happened to me and mine still has my moms voice saying “ I love you sooo much”

The talkative teddy one has to be by far one of the more terrifying ones out of these as it tackles a far more realistic horror caused by the product
