I think conservatives, from what I gathered like and respect most immigrants since it takes balls and steel to make the long journey. They don't hate them, I see them mostly hate with a deep visceral type what they call white libs who they look at as weak since they don't defend their country from unvetted migrants. I think the problem for the future is once AI takes over then the migrants that work these factory type jobs will be fired and how will they eat and pay the bills? It is a contradictory direction that the policies and direction of the world are going in IMO..

Growing up as a white, sheltered NorCal kid, I literally never heard the N- word. I’m not saying this area wasn’t racist but it’s legit bizarre hearing people say that. There weren’t any black people in my hometown but I always assumed that word was like… illegal. I think my mom did a good job sheltering me.
I honestly thought not a single person would publicly say the N-word this election cycle. Terms like “DEI” and “illegal immigrant” just seem too effective to warrant anyone saying it

The issue is that the world has made Hitler this mythical creature of evil, the absolute caricature of the concept of evil. When people think Hitler they think, instigating WW2 and killing millions of jews in the holocaust and straight take overs of government. Most people don't think they're anywhere near that far gone and if they're not that far gone then they're clearly not Hitler. Obviously missing the important part of their education that included his rise to power and how he accomplished it. That entire chapter is glazed over and so they only see the caricature and they don't see themselves as that caricature not realizing they're well on their way.

That’s the only reason why Trump gets those numbers. I will tell you that many of those voters hate Trump, hate his demeanor, hate his antichristian lifestyle, but in the end they NEED to support the GOP to keep their life the way it is. They are stuck in it the same way people in Belfast are stuck in either of two camps, regardless of their actual beliefs. You cannot simply reach out or switch without your complete social structure being destroyed. That is how a cult works.
