Hi Ms Juday, plant a lot of marigolds or other flowering plants like lavender, cosmos, in between your vegetables as your insect repellants ( indirectly attracting bees and butterflies that will eat those insects) it will lessen the insects eating your vegetables at the same time those bees and butterflies will cross pollinate your vegetable flowers to produce more fruits.
