I wish Assassin's Creed games still had this spirit. Ezio was such an amazing character because he was so wise, and still a total badass. Now, we have hollow, static characters wearing hoods and robes, calling themselves "assassins" when they have no idea what an assassin really is. Tired of Ubisoft just throwing a hood on a random person and calling them a Master Assassin for one game. Give us a well-written trilogy again, PLEASE.
In my opinion the while ac franchise should revolve around ezio, Also hevig him as the playable character, or his apprentice or his Son or his grandson...
+Kuunspraden I wouldn't call the characters of the games "static" because they do actually change. However, we really do need a new trilogy. The game was amazing with Ezio as the main character but it as become worse over the years which is a shame. GIVE US SOMETHING LIKE EZIO AGAIN UBISOFT!
Assassins creed was originally written by the creator of it, his plan was to end the series at Assassins creed 3 ( when Desmond dies) but Ubisoft saw that assassins creed was earning good money, so they fired him and they are now making more games that doesn't make sense
After Revations, all the AC games i played was to honour Altair and Ezio alone. Like he told Claudia "Should my skill fail me, should my ambitions lead me astray, do not seek retribution or revenge in my memory but fight to continue the search for truth. So that all may benefit. My story is one of many thousands and the world will not suffer it it ends too soon" those words resonate in my head everytime i play one of the crappy games.
A part of me is sad that this was Ezio's last game as a protagonist. But another part of me is happy that he got three games... it's just that voice man. That tone. You can hear it; he's tired in a sense. Even if he's still a warrior, he's more brain than muscle. There's more older brother laughting and seeking vengance like he did in AC 2, or the smart but brave soul he was in Brotherhood. In here, he was pure wisdom, searching for answers. The first five games... were truly the peak of the AC series.
I wish they made another AC game set in the early 1500s Italy, maybe playing as one of the assassin apprentices Ezio trained in Rome, just wanna see old man Ezio again.
Imo, the best trailer of all AC series! Ezio deep narration, one man against hundred fight sequence, Ezio's visions of Altair and the music all add to this masterpiece!
This game was one of the hidden gems of the generation. Many friends skipped AC:R because it was not next AC game, just sort of expansion. I absolutely loved it. mixing with Altair memories.. and that ending.
This game is underrated imo. I think it was a satisfying conclusion to Altaïr and Ezio's stories. I also think the AC series lost its way after this game.
Ezio ist just ... I can't even find words ! Badass ? Epic ? Legendary ? Whatever it is he is my favourite character of all the games I have played in my 20 years of living.
Claudia, my dearest sister. I have been in Acrea week now, safe and in high spirits, but prepared for the worst. The men and women who have fed and sheltered me here also give me warning that the road to Masyaf is overrun by mercenaries and bandits not native to this land. What this could mean, I dread to guess. When I first set out from Roma ten months ago, I did so with a single purpose. To discover what our father did not. In a letter written the year before my birth he makes mention of a library hidden beneath the stones of Masyafcastle. A sanctum full of invaluable wisdom. So what will I find when I arrive there? Who will greet me? A host of eager Templars, as I fear most strongly? Or nothing but the whistling of a cold and lonely wind? Masyaf has not been home to the Assassins for almost three hundred years now. Can we still claim it for our own? Are we welcome there? I am weary of this fight, Claudia. Not because I am tired, but because our struggle seems to move in one direction only. Towards chaos. Today I have more questions than answers. This is why I have come so far. To find clarity. To find the wisdom left behind by the great Altaïr, so that I may better understand the purpose of our fight. And my place in it. Should anything happen to me Claudia, should my skills fail me, or my ambition lead me astray, do not seek retribution or revenge in my memory, but fight to continue the search for truth, so that all may benefit. My story is one of many thousands, and the world will not suffer if it ends too soon.

Leg Cutter Offer Thingie yeah, they were fairly good games (i still despise ac3 though), but the Assassin's Creed name doesn't make sense in those games, it's just... there.
***** assassins creed 3 was a good game. but it is not assassins creed. it is a pretender, not worthy of the name. I personally loved black flag, but it still didn't feel like assassins creed. altair and ezio were the only true assassins we ever had, and we honour the deceased by bitching as much as possible to try and get ubisoft to bring back traditional assassins creed.
Black Knight yeah i know ubisoft has some how ruined the series now. but imo i think that ac3 and ac4 were really good, especially black flag. the only think i didnt like from ac3 was the cities. they were notso colourful and beautiful as the previous ones!!!!!
That’s a beautiful sentiment! Altair and Ezio are such iconic characters, each with profound journeys that resonate deeply. Altair’s disciplined pursuit of knowledge and truth and Ezio’s passionate quest for justice and family honor teach timeless lessons about growth, responsibility, and purpose. It’s amazing how gaming can inspire personal growth and leave a lasting impact. Ubisoft truly did a fantastic job crafting these characters and their worlds. Here’s to their legacy and to the lessons they taught us all!
I have watched this hundreds of times over the years and it never fails to give me goosebumps. Such art will never be recreated in any game ever again. I have no words for how good this trailer is.
You know i love Ezio yet it is sad that people acknowledge him more than Altair in the overall game, He is the one that created the hidden gun, the one that figured out a way to spare a finger from getting cut off, the one to created the codex's, mastered the Apple of Eden, gained much wisdom yet lost so much getting there. He was cast out of the order regained status, only to follow suit again. He created his own unbreakable armor set to which Ezio used in the end of AC II. The man had much foresight, and even in modern times Altair is the very thing more Assassins refer to rather than Ezio. For Altair was about the creed, and even though Ezio respects it, he doesn't embrace it like Altair did to which creates two unique characters that everyone can love. The problem though is that Altair in AC1 didn't have much of a personality like Ezio, yet if you played bloodlines, read "The Secrete Crusade", and chronicles then you know there was much more to Altair than just being an Assassin for redemption. He was the mentor that brought the Assassins everywhere in the world, the one to accomplish so much, yet harbors so much remorse for everything that lead him that way, yet finds peace in death.
Vineet Bhole I disagree I think Altair is arrogant and not that much of a good character I prefer Ezio because he was my first but it’s your opinion so don’t let me tell you who to like more
Asd_Maker did you play the game or you're just watching trailers for entertainment 😕 AC2 and AC Revelation is all about Ezio Auditore, of course he has the same landing animation
He fell for about 2.2 seconds, gravity accelerates at -9.8 m/s per second, meaning he landed going about 40 - 50 miles per hour so the distance he fell was about 45 meters. The median height leading to death is 15 meters and nearly 100% of victims die after falling 25 meters.
See what saved his bacon is the fact that when he landed the wood platform bowed, recieving all that built up energy from the fall. Or so that's what I want to think at least xD.

The emotion, visuals, and storytelling packed into just a few minutes captured Ezio’s legacy so perfectly. I hate when people say that AC should have ended with Revelations. If you believe that don't buy anymore of the games. And don't complain about something that is still alive and has a great potential of improving.
***** Assassin's Creed is bigger than Desmond. The first set of games were about Desmond and his ancestors because they were tasked by Minerva to send messages to Desmond so that Desmond could prevent a solar flare from destroying the world. Once that was done, Desmond's job was finished. However, Desmond is not dead. It was confirmed in Unity that Desmond is alive in cyberspace along with Juno. Also, Syndicate is focusing on martial arts combat and got rid of that bullshit fencing garbage from Unity. I really hope we get a Connor sequel someday where he takes on Shay and retrieves the Precursor Box.
@@carlostena7588 It's not about the platform. It's about the game franchise. Please don't be toxic about gaming platforms. It's the recent Assassin's Creed games that are at fault.

His daughter i mean (how do you spell iT?)
Oh shutup they've had a few bad years but overall there still good games
Cassim Atchia I love how Altair just come out of nowhere looking so badass
Anthony Zorrilla it gave me chills bro. The hair on my arm stood up.
If the 5th one is bloodlines thn ye dont even try telling me ac 3 is good jst stop 😂
@litt420 it's a good game keep coping
I wish they made another AC game set in the early 1500s Italy, maybe playing as one of the assassin apprentices Ezio trained in Rome, just wanna see old man Ezio again.
Farewell Ezio Auditore da Firenze , it was quite a ride , AC will NEVER have a cool character like you again
I totally agree with you
we play it from he was a teen
Very true we will never have a character like him again
Mutaz Osman Arno just try to be as cool as him but it not that cool

Imo, the best trailer of all AC series! Ezio deep narration, one man against hundred fight sequence, Ezio's visions of Altair and the music all add to this masterpiece!
This game was one of the hidden gems of the generation. Many friends skipped AC:R because it was not next AC game, just sort of expansion. I absolutely loved it. mixing with Altair memories.. and that ending.
Best game too. Story wise
This game is underrated imo. I think it was a satisfying conclusion to Altaïr and Ezio's stories. I also think the AC series lost its way after this game.
check again dude, this game is far from underrated
+l'enculeur a vapeur What about AC 4? Very good game.
+James Evans indeed
+l'enculeur a vapeur nope, it died since ac unity
They probably should've opened the box Ezio gave them then...
1:26 "Ah, Im weary of this fight, Claudia" as he kills an armed opponent with his bare hands.
Le neck snap.
Ezio ist just ... I can't even find words ! Badass ? Epic ? Legendary ? Whatever it is he is my favourite character of all the games I have played in my 20 years of living.
good english skills my brother
English is not my first language, sorry if there are a few mistakes :/ I hope you unterstand me nonetheless ! :)
+Hannibal the Cannibal Legendary is definetly the word.
Hannibal the Cannibal I think he was serious about his statement, not trying to troll.
I quit playing Assassin's Creed after this game, but the ending of Revelations is still my favorite out of all the video games I have played.
Same
but some fools dislike this game
I loved the story. Gameplay felt boring for some reasson to me.
But I would play it again :) storytelling is worth it
One does not simply stop play assassins creed
You shud try AC3 as it also puts a good story ending to the present world story (Desmond's)
Plot twist : Altair interrupted because he didn't want ezio to cross his kill streak high score.
😂
And Altair smirked when he turned away from Ezio, knowing that he messed up his killstreak 😂
“My story is one of many thousands and the world will not suffer if it ends too soon “
That’s hits different
So you know the assassins you recruit? I feel like the main characters in the new assassins creed are equivalent to them
Those recruits are actually getting their own mobile game called assassin's creed identity....
+Chill Tracks and revelations
Hawkguy from brotherhood the previous game. Ezio gathers an army

Thanxxx man
Gingers Soul yes? ezio ,my dear brother.
The world did suffer because your story ended too soon
*Acre. it sounds like Acrea because in Italian E is pronounced as "Eh" so it's sounds like Acreh.
9 years later and seeing Altair being such a badass in the memories and the way Ezios run coming to the end and seeing how far he’s gone since 2 makes this game still my favorite of the series
This is my favorite Assassin's Creed trailer/cutscene.
I would say mine too but im struggling between brotherhood or this one what do you think ?
I don't remember that one. The only other one I remember is the 3 one.
Ah dw then when ezio faces cesar but iv gone through both I think i'm going to go with this one.

R.I.P. Assassin's Creed
2007-2011
Beloved series
Lol ac3 and ac4 were good games...
Leg Cutter Offer Thingie yeah, they were fairly good games (i still despise ac3 though), but the Assassin's Creed name doesn't make sense in those games, it's just... there.
***** the only reason i despise ac3 it's because of the setting, tbh i found it reaaally boring and dull, connor was a cool character though.
This game, Altaïr and Ezio are really close to my hearts. They made me a good man! Thank you Ubisoft.
Dallas legend94
He did create the hidden weapon gun in revelations. Divnic used the codex to create the gun.
it's stupid to compare Altair & Ezio. Both are badass.
it was Altair who modified the hidden blade, its in the codex, no more sacrificing the finger ring for an assassin.
Altair is a better assassin no doubt but ezio just feels like someone u know after 3 games and embers
Vineet Bhole I disagree I think Altair is arrogant and not that much of a good character I prefer Ezio because he was my first but it’s your opinion so don’t let me tell you who to like more
It's crazy to think Ezio took on an entire army.
Watch the AC3 trailer lol
And he would have killed em all if not for that weird Altair vision lol
+SuperSilver759 And if his blade didn't break
+Dark_Creed125 well, because he saw Altair he did like a "DA fuck was that" and he quickly put up his guard which lead the the blade breaking
Dark_Creed125 well connor does that too
2:51 thats the same landing in the assassins creed 2 trailer
Asd_Maker Woahh never noticed that.
Asd_Maker did you play the game or you're just watching trailers for entertainment 😕 AC2 and AC Revelation is all about Ezio Auditore, of course he has the same landing animation
He's trolling man
He fell for about 2.2 seconds, gravity accelerates at -9.8 m/s per second, meaning he landed going about 40 - 50 miles per hour so the distance he fell was about 45 meters. The median height leading to death is 15 meters and nearly 100% of victims die after falling 25 meters.
Lol, it took 10 mins to solve it, nice work bro
lol thx
Wow
See what saved his bacon is the fact that when he landed the wood platform bowed, recieving all that built up energy from the fall. Or so that's what I want to think at least xD.
Also where did the rope around his neck ho?
The whole ezio fight scene explained in a comment
1:13 ezio just jump kick that guy
1:16 ezio use hidden blade to kill that dude
1:18 another hidden blade kill
1:21 ezio grab the dudes weapon to stab billy over there
1:23 ezio grab this mans arms did a parry and kick the guy then using the sword he stole to kill the guy in the back
1:27 ezio dodge then broke this dudes neck
1:30 ezio got strangled freed himself used the dudes attack to kill another guy
1:33 ezio headbutt that dude
1:34 ezio double punch
1:37 again he used the mans sword to kill the guy whos using it
1:39 PUshed the guy out of there
1:40 epic assasin pose
1:44 double kill using hidden blade and altair just chillin
1:45 father son moment
1:51 ezio got distracted and not only lost his kill streak but his weapon too
THE END
in the end he killed/knocked out 11 people
he killed 9
the one still alive was the guy ezio jumpkicked at the start of the battle the other was the guy who got doubled punch 1:34
and fredrick did a little friendly fire 1:32 so he got a kill not ezio... but its better than nothing right?

"My story is one of many thousands, and the world will not suffer if it ends too soon." It did end too soon and I'm suffering! Damnit ubisoft, bring back Ezio!
"I am in high spirits" he says while getting beat up.
What?
''My story is one of many thousands, and the world will not suffer if it ends too soon'' once said by an old assassin
I hope someday we will see a 4K remaster of this masterpiece.
"My story is one of many thousands, and the world will not suffer if it ends too soon" Ezio... We suffered big time
Ubisoft never disappoint when it comes to trailers, they all give me goosebumps
This trailer alone got me into assassins creed when I literally had no clue what it was about
Exactly me right now
Who else are watching these trailers to get hyped for the ezio collection?
TheJerseyDevil of course
Ah, remember those times Assassin’s creed was a good story based franchise and not a name for ubisoft to just brand it’s games to make profit?
I mean origins had an amazing story and characters
Yosuru Shi I loved Origins, I was talking about Odyssey, and now Valhalla.
@@changefullstew3649 don't know what you're talking about. True, there is room for improvement in odyssey but it was not a bad twist in the franchise (the DLC pretty much showed us the origins of the first assassin's bloodline and the order of ancients) and Valhalla is looking promising right now.
Origins was a great story but the gameplay was bad compared to the rest of the franchise.
@@shankmaster4878 Odyssey is meh. If a game needs it’s DLC to justify it then the game best not exist. Origins gameplay is an aqquired taste, some people like it some don’t, but there wasn’t anything wrong with it. Valhalla, well. Valhalla best not disapoint me I pre ordered it and really hyped for it.
12 years and this is still one of the coolest trailers they’ve made in my opinion. I will forever miss Ezio.
I completely understand! The Assassin’s Creed: Revelations trailer with Ezio walking through Constantinople, accompanied by “Iron” by Woodkid, is still an absolute masterpiece. The emotion, visuals, and storytelling packed into just a few minutes captured Ezio’s legacy so perfectly.
Ezio’s journey from a carefree young man to a wise Master Assassin is unforgettable, and that trailer encapsulates his maturity and determination beautifully. His charisma, depth, and humanity make him one of the most iconic video game characters ever. Ezio might be gone, but his legacy is eternal, and fans like you keep his memory alive.
After 11 years of milking the franchise this still is the best intro i have ever seen
I think the music speaking for the overall trailer is better, yet can't deni hearing Ezio say this is also epic as well.
Sora: King of Hearts. personally i think the voice is better

Anyone from July 2024 ,still enjoying this legendary trailer ✋
To find the wisdom left behind by the great Altair. That is how much Ezio respected Altair 1:48
This trailer, this game gives me strength and inspiration to go from tough times in my life.
my favorite assassin is connor but you gotta admit that ezio was named the mentor for a reason. he cannot be bested.
Altaïr is more intelligent but I like ezio auditore more Connor is ok too those 3 had very rough beginnings Connor his mohawk village burning, altaïr his betrayal and punishments everyone went fucking insane after Al Maulim sorry if I spelt that wrong ye after his death and ezio all the males got hanged
He was so clean with his moves . The best assasin for a reason 🔥

The trailer and its music is so powerful, it fills ny eyes everytime I watch it.
When he walks onto the platform I’d like to think Altair’s spirit is there telling him everything is going to be ok and he see the eagle telling him to trust the creed

Ezio finding closure to Altair's story is probably the best storyline in the AC franchise. Ever.
It’s been 10 years since this trailer came out, 10 years since the conclusion to Ezio’s story and it being the current greatest storyline in all of Assassin’s Creed
Still in 2021 , I replayed the Ezio trilogy. It hit different this time that I am more mature than the past.
