@@capchemist It was sort of troubling to balance pchem with 3 other grad level classes with labs. Nevertheless, it wasn't all that as I passed with a 96 , missed a few on the final that was worth 40%. I assume you attended a prestigious university, right? Otherwise you wouldn't be taken seriously for any sort of employment with just a Bs in chem. Few buddies of mine graduated with a chem degree with a lined up employment that would pay for their masters or ph.d. All of whom graduated from Duke, MIT, or Cal tech.

I took a bio class last semester and my professor had to add 15 points (out of 100) to everyone’s test each time we took one. Every time he would talk to all of us like he was disappointed that we didn’t know the scientific name and entire lineage of every animal. He still ended up curving the entire class grade at the end of the semester too 😂
I graduated with a bio major. I wish there more classes on Clinical Research, which is what I’m doing right now. It just seemed like it was either work in the medical field, research in general, or work in a lab
As an Environmental Science major, I relate. The day a ball of dirt asks me about Lamarckism is the day I thank my professor for those damn test questions
What? You understand that you can enter with a bio major on a premed route? Also , electrical & chemical are a tad bit more difficult than that. I'm a course 6, electrical/cs duo with a concentration in biomedical through MIT & Boston. I'm supplementing with chemistry classes, e.g, organic, pchem, & biochem. Surely you aren't going to pull something out of your rear in an attempt to degrade my academics😂 I only take the MIT & Princeton theoretical physicists seriously.
I’m a CS major on my final semester, and I chose bio as my last general science elective 😭 felt like those past 4 years of CS had nothing on this class, about to have first exam on Monday 🙏
Engineering major here just got a 15 on a differential equations test. Also, for some reason we needed two biology classes and I was seriously contemplating doing something to get into the hospital to get an excuse for an extension on my work
I was dropped out of school trying to get my bio degree. Most stem course have people regularly getting 40% and 80% on test . They are also usually too lazy to grade homework so they make the test half or a 3rd of your grade

Theatre majors are really fun, but also REALLY risky. If you’re thinking about it, I would honestly say just take some theatre classes first to see how you would do in them while you’re taking other classes, and then see how you would faire in an adjacent degree (like general arts etc.) and then go from there! I have soo many friends who are in their second or third years of their theatre degree/major and a lot of them say that even though theatre is fun, job opportunities are really slim right now and they’re not sure where they’re going to go after college/university.

Laughs in chem major (but at least we have job options)
Are you slow? Chemistry doesn't have anything all that difficult. The only somewhat class that required a little studying is pchem Ii . Although^^
@@magicagrnub620 I liked pchem fine. Inorganic and organic nearly destroyed me.

I actually got a 66 on my first exam, im practically an academic weapon at this point
you gon be a doctor😂
This is literally me! I’m in AP bio in high school rn and my first test is on Thursday and I have no idea what’s going on! Bouta lock in 💪🏻
It feels like I currently have 13 missing assignments and school just started last week
AP bio is absolute cake, college is a whole other level man

My bio Professor was like that but refused to curve our grades even though almost the entire class failed
bro gonna be a teacher ripbozo
Fun fact: We have technology that can see individual molecules now. You absolutely can see DNA with Atomic Force Microscopy.

You're just as bad as that one dude complaining at chemistry. Biochem has nothing all that hard..

Do it just make sure you know job opportunities
How are you going to make a living with that 😑
