Just for future reference, “raj” comes from Sanskrit(Indian language kind of like Latin for Europe). The British used the word when forming the British Raj. So next time you see Raj somewhere, associate it with India, not the British.
'Raj' means to Rule. Thus, 'British Raj' basically meant, 'British Ruled India' or British India. On the other hand, in the video. Rajputana - probably meant 'Home/Land of the Rajputs' who were completely different bunch and were like Knights/Samurais. Probably around, North of India, around the area of Rajestan.

Quite a lot of Mogol empires adopted the Turkic culture, most notably The Golden Horde, until the Turkic migrators faced a more dominant culture: the Arabic one. And I encourage you to examine the origins of some words you thought it is Mongolian, such as khaganate and horde.
