Then you put on the screen what the OFW app was, never heard of anything like that so when polly said OFW I took the loony at her word lol. No doubt you can see who the true adult in the situation is and why he has custody because he's not some raging lunatic trying to use his kids as a weapon like she is. She's powerless to the situation so that's her way of trying to be vindictive and separate the child from their father

Samantha represented me in my divorce and she was absolutely fantastic. My ex wife didn't even respond and Samantha gave me partial payment back, she could have kept every bit but she is just rock solid.
only because he had money for a attorney. cost me 10k to get custody of my son while she got the state for free, then after wining zero money for dad child support never brought up. year later she gave up her right's. if you dont have a attorney your screwed.
All the props go to the Lady Attorney. The judge was fully prepared half-ass his way through this; and the attorney was like "No judge, you're going to take this seriously, and you're going do your job."

My sons father and I split up after 10 years together. Now 7 years later and he recently passed away. I would give anything in the world to have him back here to watch our child grow up. There is no greater show of love than to work together and model maturity and mutual respect. This Mother makes me sick!! It’s all about control. She is the problem
I'm sorry for your loss. My daughters father was murdered when she was 13 months old. She is now 20. Even after all these years id give anything for her to have one memory of him and how much he loved her.

Ikr! My husband/children father was together 15 yrs when he passed away in 2011. Now our kids are grown and we have grandchildren. It makes me frustrated and sick to my stomach watching this!
My ex and had 5 children together. When we divorced, we were still best friends and raised our children together. I understand most can’t, but it’s not unheard of and our children grew up just fine. We still have all of our holidays together, including new spouses. A big happy family. We do have our moments, but nothing we can’t solve.

It makes it so much nicer for us and appreciate this.' I just don't think people should act like idiots! My children & grandchildren were more important to me & should be to every parent! We have had holidays together with him remarried, stayed at each other's house, I've taken grands to see him, & friends with his wife. It has been the very best. December 19th will be 4 years since he died of cancer. I miss his friendship immensely. Six months later lost my baby sister to cancer. A year later, I lost a dear friend sister to cancer. Life is short...no time for BS. So glad the judge saw through her shenigans!! ❤

Right, these judges need to start making them pay attorney fees. Especially when they have full/sole custody and the other person is filing for ridiculous things. That money could've gone toward the children instead of her ridiculous accusations.
It’s rare that women pay the same amount of child support, I had custody of my three kids and I had to wait two years and fight just to get child support

I'm shocked. She lost custody but wants to drown Matt in court hearing and costs to make him look like a bad father and person, but meanwhile she did this to herself. For the judge to mention he knew what she was up to since their divorce is some monumental history and he's sick of it. And the dad having to raise his kids alone, along w/an exwife who wants to weigh him down, is so unfair. He must be exhausted. I am just by seeing this for the entirety of the video. Using her kids to do her dirty work really is low and something that if it doesn't stop, I hope she loses the little time she has to spend with her kids.

The phone thing is bizarre! Giving a kid a cell phone and not telling the other parent isn't ok. She absolutely could have done exactly what the judge said and looked when she wanted to.
A teenager having 2 different phones for 2 different homes is absolutely ridiculous. Kids talk and text constantly. His friends must have 2 different phone numbers and have to figure out when and where he is at any given time. It's dizzying. And totally unnecessary.

I love and trust my kids but I also check on them to make sure I have reason to trust them. I'd lose my mind if someone got them a phone that I wasn't aware of. She wanted to be able to have secret conversations with their sons, and tried to come up with some way to justify it.
It sounds so one sided though. She wants access to the parental controls of the phone because the father was taking photos and videos of her. The judge says well just take the phone from the kid, which I disagree with. Then when they say the kids is talking to the mum while at the fathers house, why didn't the same apply? If it is so easy to take the property from the kid for the mum, the dad can do the same if they are having these all night conversations?
If that is really the judges remedy, then it should apply to both parents.

I think one of the best moves a man can make in a divorce is has a woman lawyer. A woman questioning and berating the ex-wife has a whole different and more meaningful effect than a man doing it.

This woman is the kind of teacher I loathed in school. Condescending, infantile, and thinking all the while she’s the only smart one in the room. She’s the type who talks down to her students, like, “We need to learn to be good and woke, because we think we need that to be good citizens, so we can blah blah blah…” Whenever a teacher started using the ‘royal we’ I’d tune right out. I took care of kids and once, while picking them up from school, a teacher was in the parking lot having a nuclear meltdown, screaming and red faced at a man sitting in a car, with kids in his car. My kids said that woman was a teacher and the man she was screaming at like a banshee were divorced, the dad was really nice, and >gasp< had a new fiancée, who the kids really loved, and the mom was crazy. These incidents happened about every 2-3 months. No kids wanted to be in her class. Fast forward 6 years, my kids are in college, and the crazy teacher had finally lost custody, and her kids went no contact with her. She still whines that her kids were alienated by her ex husband. She never took responsibility for herself. She tried to block family counseling between her ex and their kids, because she was so toxic. The kids suffered, but because their dad loved them so much, and did the best he could for them, they have a great, close relationship with their dad. I hope these kids don’t see her at all. There’s no good from a mom like this. Caustic and toxic. Enough is enough. This judge is fire!

If I was Judge I would have ordered her to go to therapy as a condition of getting visitation. I also would have been giving him his attorney fees all along every time her complaints were frivolous.
I had a friend that went through this with a crazy EX. Judge finally had enough, gave my friend 100% custody with zero visitation for Father and made the Father pay her $60k in attorney fees.
Plus he put in a court order that the father could not file any more cases or motions with the court without getting permission first from that judge.
After 6 years of constant harassment and litigation he FINALLY went away. 😏

Damn that sucks. My child’s mom is still part of our family, she’s gonna come to my sisters soon for Christmas and every once in a while me and her will go do something together with our daughter, last time we went bowling. Shure there are things that I can’t stand about my ex and she can probally say the same about me but it’s not worth getting courts involved and having our kid grow up learning to keep secrets from her parents. I give her a bit more than what I’m supposed to for child support to keep her and her mom happy. Our daughter is doing great! Also people need to understand that just because their daughter seems like she likes one parent over the other doesn’t mean that’s the best parent for the child. I have my daughter every weekend and of course she’s going to enjoy going to dads house more because we are having fun all weekend and she can stay up a little bit later and with mom she has to go to school
Amazing co parenting Mom and Dad! Well done! I envy you! Always for the wellbeing of the child/children! Kudos 👏 and that all the family work well together, in laws are friends. Dealing with narcissistic in law enablers is another added on horror of bad co parenting cases.
This is exactly why it is VITAL to really KNOW the person you’re dating before you marry/have children with them. Seriously. Pay close attention to how they act towards you and others when they’re angry or hurt. If you see them reacting vindictively, maliciously, petty.. think about going through a situation like this and just assume they will react 10x’s worse. I’m not referring to just one gender in particular… before anyone assumes! Trust me… I’ve seen just as many men going out of their way to hurt their exes by using their children as I have women. I can vouch by my own personal struggles with my children’s father. Make a mental checklist before you get married/have children. PLEASE!! Children don’t deserve to have to be raised in the middle of all of this nonsense. This woman should be ashamed of herself… clearly, she has her own best interest in mind rather than her children. I feel bad for dad and the kids.

The court should not have to micro manage like this and for such an extensive length of time. Why would you let your distain for your ex cause you to lose legal custody of your children. How sad for the children that they see all this. 😢

I don't think it's fair to say that any parent hates the other parent. More than they love their kids, but some parents can make bad decisions based on emotions and based on feeling like they are being slighted by the other parent. It doesn't mean that they don't love their kids. But it does mean that they are a bit short-sighted, which is actually fairly common among human beings. We are emotional creatures and it takes a lot sometimes to control yourself. And some people are better at it than others. But that doesn't give you the right to judge whether somebody loves their kid or not. She wouldn't be doing this if she didn't love her kid. She's just making selfish decisions in the process. That makes it look like she's trying to make things difficult.
I understand your concern. It’s just that in my previous life ( school principal) I was always amazed when separated/divorced parents turned up to meetings with solicitors, took the other parent to court accusing the other parent of sexualising abusing the child ( in spite of the child protests) or only communicated with that other parent through letters. THESE parents defiantly did not think about the child. Granted, I have a number parents, who after going it alone, were unbelievable and had a very good relationships with their ex-spouse. I suppose the quality of their on- going relationship depended on their emotional intelligence or even the nature of their break- up. I just always felt very sorry for the poor children when the parents made it very obvious of their intense dislike of each other- the children often ended up confused and very anxious. Just my observations and from a middle class view. Sorry/

I think they should be made to pay all attorney fees. That would probably stop that nonsense, but part of taking them to court for frivolous things is they are making their ex pay. And it doesn't only cost for the courtroom time, but any phone calls you make to discuss their case. It's expensive...I know.
