“and then we’re going to do something fun” I was having fun from the get go. I almost didn’t finish watching the video because I was so excited to try this.
@@mostlyquilts1386 I definitely did. I started with a baby blanket. I made it entirely out of scraps. I love this idea and I am so glad I found your video. I can’t wait to see what you come up with next.
I liked the effect when the triangles floated in the backing before the trimming. Adding the long narrower triangle really added a good dimension. I enjoy making wonkey quilts. I’ll try this.
Love that Nora, it’s exactly the kind of thing I’ve been getting into recently. It’s fun to ditch perfection (but not always as easy as it looks, at least not in my case!). Great video as usual 🥰 x
I enjoy seeing you follow your creative ideas. I must admit the yellow fabric ruined the color harmony for me. Without the yellow it is great, even another color could have worked.💕

I’m so thrilled you were inspired to give it a go! Have fun!

Love this block so creative. Your are very good.
Thanks Elizabeth, I appreciate you comment!
Definitely trying this. I’m very bad at seeing straight lines, so this is perfect for me!
Glad to hear you’re gonna give it a go, have fun!
After a busy day, I get to grab my hand sewing and watch this video! You make me smile! Thank you so much for posting this video!
Thanks Brenda, you’re awesome!
You are so talented! Thank you so much for sharing 💕
Turned out great! You’re really creative.
Thank Susan, I appreciate your comment!
I can't wait to see how you end up using this block.
Me too Teresa! It will probably go in an orphan block quilt.
Just love your videos. New to this and I don’t due good with patterns. Also new to your channel. Love love watching your methods
Welcome to the channel Jacque! I’m always happy to hear of new quilters. I’m relatively new myself.
Awesome 🤩
Thanks Jayanthi!

Hey Michelle- Yes, ditching perfection is a challenge, perfection is over-rated. Happy “imperfect” quilting to you!
Looks great! I made a pattern by Suzy Quilts that was similar & very entertaining for my brain. May have been called Perennial.
I’ll have to look it up, I’m not familiar with her. “Soothing to the brain” sounds good to me!

I agree about the gold. There are a few aspects of the block I’m not thrilled with but it was fun experimenting. Thanks for watching!
@@mostlyquilts1386 this triangle square is very interesting, actually a great experiment.💕
No color...add color, not wonky still very structured. Stopped watching midstream
