The LeMans had a full vinyl top on it originally, not a landau or half-top. When it rolled down the assembly line with it's build sheet, it indicated it was getting the top and wouldn't need the lead finishing where the top sheetmetal met the C-Pillars. It looks like someone removed the vinyl top, filled that unfinished area with Bondo and painted it.
Exactly
Randy all the dodge rams have exhaust gaskets that leake from the manifold . ive done so many dodges and its not the engine
That 72 LeMans NEEDS Saving. I'd love to have it..
Most of us understand that you’re moving randy!! I love the Copart walk arounds!! Monkey wrench Mike is awesome!!! I remember Tim. Stay safe out there!! 👊👊
Drew benefield what's up
@@fluffy1346 Just did an oil change on one of my cars. What’s up with you?
@@drewbenefield2001 u know brother chilling right now just been looking up cars that I'm trying to buy
@@drewbenefield2001 trying to buy a SUV now and give the car I got now to my wife
Thanks Drew!
i love how he wanted to sell it and then he gets back in and BURNS RUBBER and then falls in love all over again!!!
You guys are always a hoot together!
Copart walk-arounds everyday! Say no more! I'm in!
Content with you and Mike together is always golden
That tapping is the normal Dodge noise!! lol
The GMC version of the El Camino was called the Sprint. Have no idea where you got Conquistador from😂😂😂
Yep
@@michaelcoonce6694 Conquistador was an El Camino trim level. I think they renamed the Sprint the Caballero when the G Body came out but I don't think I've ever actually seen one irl
Yeah, the GMC Sprint was renamed Caballero for 1978 [A/G body], and seen them at Auto Shows mainly.
I’m been watching all your videos lately, you’re doing a great job bro. Much love for your channel and what you do ♥️
Hey Randy, the Avalanche is a must. My brother bought one with 21k miles and drove it hard. Traded it with 110k miles, only did routine maintenance. Great trucks
Man, great walk around Randy. I love the ones with Monkey Wrench Mike. I love these videos 'cause they're always so positive, and there are lots of laughs to be had. Keep it up!
Thanks Joseph!!
Lemans is screaming Save me! Perfect for a LS conversion
Everyone needs a friend like MonkeyWrenchMike!
Great vid, Randy! :)
Thanks for the entertainment man! Love the videos.
I'd just put a strength plate on the frame... After straightening.. then throw a bed on it
Monty the troll hunter I see u👀👀👀👀
It's the dynamic Duo of course we are going to enjoy it
I had a 1970 El Camino. High school 76-77. Gold. 307 and power glide. Original owner was Del Monte Corp in Texas according to the warranty ID plate.
Monkey------Wrench-----Mike----YAAAAAAAAY!!!! I had a 70 LeMans when I was in high school! Memories seeing this one! That Chevy looked good. Great walk around. Always happy to see Mike! Makes me laugh!
Ha!!! Thanks Richard!
I'm cool with this. I would watch these copart walk around videos every single day.
Is Ram still using those crappy manifold bolts that snap? If so, that could be the tapping sound when the exhaust leaks where the bolt snaps. I had a '12 Ram with the Hemi that did the same thing. I actually heard one of the bolts snap a few minutes after I turned off the truck. I instantly knew what it was..
Thanks for the video, Randy.
The Copart walkarounds are the cornerstone of your success Randy, keep that shit up.....it's good! Good luck with the house move, best wishes from the UK.
The Tailgate is locked. If it has keys use it to open and then to flip the latches to take off the pannels. I love my Avalanche... That Lemans is a Really rare car! The 400 ones are dam fast~ One of the fastest cars other than the 455 Ho versions of Pontiac. I wish I could get that car.
Randy you should seriously look at the Lemans, if you could get that car for around 500 plus fees, spend around 2k to get it running and throw some seat covers and a cheap maaco paint job on it, the car could fetch for around 10k. Go online and see what 1972 Lemans are going for, it might surprise you.
that RAM has a exhaust manifold leak...some 5.7 Hemi get that
That's exactly what I thought!
Basically get some good long tubes and you’ll be set. I have a warranty on my 16 to 98k. I’m praying my manifolds break so I can get long tubes covered by my warranty as long tubes cost less than the crap mopar ones are in there. Love my Ram though
My 2020 does that when it sits for a bit. But goes away in 5 mins
Yessss love the walkarounds im excited
Always happy to see you tour in copart walk around so very interesting...
The Toyota Camry is great flip car
That avalanche is a good truck and they run forever
I really hope the house move goes well, Randy. No worries - I always enjoy the Copart walk-arounds!
Randy, Mike thanks for the vids. Mike, you are a true friend, not many of those these days. Randy, stay safe during the move.
Thank you Jeff
Copart walkarounds are the best@!
as a note the tapping is Usually from siting i bought a 2018 Ram with 26k miles and it taped because it was siting once you run them for a bit they come back AS FAR AS IM AWARE I CHOULD BE WRONG
What a great looking Camero !! 👍👍
The GMC Caballero is their version of an El Camino
Love it with Mike Randy, a real good friend to help you shift and travel that far to do it!
Thanks Mark!!
Randy - for the credit cards, you should go online and change the addresses. Itll be alot quicker and easier.
love the vids man they awesome
That LaMans will buff out! Someone will snatch that up rust and all. The interior is toast, sad. Nice Copart Walk Around.
My step dads first car was a 72 Lemans. Great video
Hey Randy Sheer Can you get a 1987 Dodge Omni GLH-S ( Goes Like Hell- Smore0 with a 5 speed and a 2.2L Turbo IV with 225 HP and weights 1800 hundred pounds and is fast only 60 and Carroll Shelby numbered all vesicles.
Jag sounds like torque converter is loose. Knock got louder when put in gear.
The test of a true friend is if they’ll help you move!!
Got to be careful. A move could end a friendship.
Very true! Lol
Great work and thanks for the content stay safe and take care
You were right about the trucks and the shifter.
I love all your videos
Good luck with the move, Randy.
I have to say Randy, seeing you and Monkey Wrench Mike together in today's video really made me smile and tear a bit. I've been having a really rough time lately, but to see such good friends like you too touched me.. Maybe one day we could chat? Anyhoos, that Jag sounded like those old GM 6.2L diesels on a cold start. Metallic skeletons. The LeMans? Oof..
Thanks for the kind words! I hope things get better fir you!
On the LeMans, that is the factory roof to rear 1/4 panel seam.
That Camaro looks good😎
Smooth travels Randy 💯🎃
Its ok men i understand victor frm michigan love the copart walk around
Cabelero is the trim on your GMC Sprint.
Fun video guys!!!
Thanks for the content while you’re so busy wandering if you know what the ram and the Avalanche sold for
72 lemans that bought back memories
That avalanche...... GET IT!
Don't sweat it... We'll be here
The best at the end.
When you two do walkarounds, it is always funny:-)
Very true!!
mike out of all the cars you have the camero is the best of all
Randy!! GET THE LEMANS!! Amazing Content!!! It's super Rare, and by the looks of its was only 27k when it came off the road, I'd bet its numbers matching. Get it for Weird Beard!!
Randy your wheezing is hilarious 🤣
No matter what you do I'll still enjoy it
Good video buddy
*That Avalanche is just like my Escalade EXT. if you get locked out of the tailgate you have to take out the back lass, fold down the rear wall and reach through and unlatch each of the 3 hard tonneau covers till you get to the back then take the 3 bots for the handle out and replace it . and be happy you have a home to move into not all of us have that option. in fact i may be watching your videos soon with my dogs in Walmart or lowes parking lot *
Gmc caballero or gmc sprint is probably what you were thinking about
shocks dented from copart fork truck ! they are ruthless !!
Wow two Copart walkaound in one day 👍👍 its good got to do and moving on
Who saw that little red Isuzu Rodeo can't believe it didn't grab their attention and put it on the video man I love those things
That jaguar sounds like it has a bad torque converter that is tightening and loosening
I went to the Chrysler dealer last year and started 3 trucks. One was a Jeep Grand Cherokee and two were Ram Limited's. All of them ticked for a while but they eventually cleared up. I am worried that ticking will only get worse with time. Unfortunately the diesel trucks are not available in Mexico.
The Chevy Avalanche has a window that comes down, and a partition that comes down also after you fold down the seats. It was known as the SUV that turns into a truck in minutes for hauling long things in the bed
i love that camaro
No worries you have a lot on your plate and congrats country living awesome! The dodge will go for too much but it is nice! The jag sounds bad! Seems like the avalanche could be a good flip car!!
Good Lord I love your Camaro.
Love the videos no matter what Randy. Just keep it up also it will be pretty cool when you have fully moved outside of the city and more rural instead. Love the walk arounds and the 72 Lemans is pretty cool but not much left of that engine and the rust is bad.
Nice merc and the lemans
Thank you for at least showing that red XV20 Camry. I've seen it in the background for the last few videos and was eager. I have a '99 V6 red Camry. Only difference is that mine isn't neglected :D
I have a 2020 RAM..5'7" bed length.
Always keeping it 💯💯
TK has the new Ram Rebel that has that knob shifter 😂 from what I saw, he hates it too! it is such a pretty truck though!
Kind of waiting time!
There is an interesting entry on the Auto Check report for the Avalanche. There is an accident reported on 05/24/2003 which was before the first title was issued on 06/10/2003 with 22 miles. Maybe it had an accident in shipping.
Usually shipping accident cars are donated or scrapped though
@@CR7659 No they aren't. If the damage is minor, they fix it, or if it is major, the insurance company totals it just like any other car.
@@mexicanspec Believe me, I've seen it done, the college I went to had one Chevy truck that had just a mark on the roof you could have buffed out. Nope, donated, they don't want the liability.
@@CR7659 And you don't know the history of that vehicle. Donated vehicles were slated to be donated to begin with. At my high school we had a 1984 Trans Am, brand new, donated to the auto shop to show the students the new systems. The car had no VIN. It was slated to be a donated vehicle from the get go.
I have worked at new car stores and when a vehicle is damaged in transit the transportation company has to take care of the damage whether with them paying for it or through their insurance company. We had gotten in damaged vehicles and if the damage wasn't too severe, the car went right to our body shop to get fixed and sold as new. If the vehicle had severe damage, it was taken back and paid off by the insurance company. At that point it becomes the property of that insurance company and disposed of just like any other salvage vehicle.
@@mexicanspec Well, no, I do, since the dealer who donated it got a nice write-up in the paper for doing it and explained why they did it. Which made me curious enough to try to find what was wrong with it and there was the little mark on the roof.
You got it Randy
And you and Monkey Wrench Mike always have good content it doesn't matter if it's Copart walk around or something else
We certainly try!!
I'm guessing that on that Ram the frame and rear suspension got tweaked enough that the top half of the shock rubs on the lower half when they get compressed.
thank you RANDY not bad looking car 1071 Pontiac Lemans
i meant 1972
The roof seam that you pointed out is factory. The top hold lots of moisture on the lemans. All of the rust is not bad for that year of car. If the floor pans are solid it’s a good car.
seems like dodge will never resolve the issue with the ticking hemi, i don't get it
Randy If I Lived in Oklahoma instead of Windsor Connecticut I would help you move Good to have friends like Mike The camaro looking good
Love Mike. Videos is much more fluent with him.
Thank you!!
Sounded like that 5.7 had the dreaded needle lifters in it instead of the rollers.
Camry: BOOOOORRRRIIIINNNGGG‼️
Hey randy I know how hard it is to move if I lived closer I'd try give ya a hand but hey mate great content the first truck you showed I would put a flat bed on it easy done and make the bed of wood
The LeMans would need to be done by "frame off", etc. Most likely will become a "GTO clone".
Makes me sad to see fake goats. Be proud Lemans and Tempest owners.
I like the avalanche
That 1st ram fell off a ramp... got hit from underneath just ahead of the back wheels
